In this world, the naysayers try to tell us what we cannot do. They use expressions like 'when pigs fly' or 'when hell freezes over.' Well, the world today is full of flying pigs! If someone says to you "When pigs fly!" show them a flying pig.

"When pigs fly" is an expression used by the listener to express their opinion that something will never happen. Another good one is "when hell freezes over." Occasionally true, in many instances, the listener is proven wrong. Science and technology are advancing at rates most of us cannot comprehend. Most (if not all) cannot predict where science and technology are taking us. My advice is to use an expression like this as sparingly as possible.
