Flypaper Soundtrack

While bachelor parties gone horribly awry lend themselves to blockbuster money makers, somehow crime capers gone bad do not seem to make it at the box office, case in point being the Flypaper Soundtrack and movie starring Patrick Dempsey Made of Honor, Enchanted and Ashley Judd Someone Like You.

On paper, the romantic crime comedy looks promising, penned by the writers of The Hangover, Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. It's produced by and stars Dr. McDreamy and co-stars Ashley Judd who's a solid actress. But like a crime caper gone bad, the movie's twisted humor and awkward premise echoes the summer's other bank heist comedy misfortune 30 Minutes or Less.

It's hard to believe the movie also features Octavia Spencer who stars in the diametrically opposed The Help. Skip Flypaper and see Octavia Spencer in her sassy role in The Help instead and enjoy Patrick Dempsey this summer in Transformers: Dark of the Moon or on DVD in the little known movie Lucky 7 co-starring Brad Paisley's wife, the adorable Kimberly Williams. There's always Enchanted, Made of Honor or the entire series of Grey's Anatomy.

Currently there is no word about an official Soundtrack to Flypaper being released but if you're curious about the song that plays in the commercial, it's been identified as "I Want More" by The Rival Sons. Flypaper opens in limited release August 19th but is a likely candidate to zoom quickly to DVD.
