With scissors separate the top of the bottle from the bottom (see diagram). Invert(turn upside down into the bottom section) the top into the bottom part of the bottle.
On opposite sides of the container, punch holes using a hole punch.
Lace the string through the holes and tie with a secure knot to create a hanger,

My fly catcher
It works
Problem is the sachet stuff lasts about 2-3 weeks then you will need to buy more. But its cheap fun.
It attracts most variety of flys, houshold through to those humungous big horse flies. god have mercy if one of those went down your throat.
I clean it out every 3 days.
The smell is disgusting so its not for the faint hearted.
Grandmas favourite fly catcher
next to grandpa's boots this worked well
Grandma or affectionatly known as little nana had a great way of getting the dirty little devils. A smelly fly ribbon hanging from the light fixtures in every room.It looked gross but worked well.
Unfortunatly if you where over her height 4'4" you would hit your head on the sticky fly infested bit of paper stuff. We didnt throw our heads into the air laughing much around little nana or you would end up with a mouth full of dried powdery flies that were disinegrating on the ribbon.
I am certain should little nana requested anything to take to the after life one of these fly catcher thing would have been on the list in front of grandpa.
Got to love little nana, she hated flies

You though I was Joking about Little Nana, Here she is with grandpa circa 1969 Grandpa hated flies too.
