Interlocking Foam Floors For Babies & Kids
Interlocking foam floor sheets make a great protective flooring in kids and babies rooms and other high traffic areas in the home for toddlers and little ones, plus it makes really nice floors to walk on. My hubby has installed foam flooring in his man cave and it's fun and colorful. This page offers foam floor interlocking sheets to buy from Amazon and eBay. Foam floors are available in colors and standard black or gray.
*Foam Floor installation tip: when a foam floor is newly installed, it gives off a rather strong chemical odor. The odor is non-toxic, however, it may be a good idea to air out the foam floor sections outside (in a covered area) prior to installing them.

My now eight year old daughter was always taking a tumble when she was learning to walk as a baby.
I remember the ongoing concern about frequent bumps and bruises from meeting with a hard, unyeilding floor.
It was so bad at one point, I wondered if I should be putting a helmet on my child.
I don't know if these foam floors were available back then or not, but I know I would have loved to have installed foam flooring in the areas my baby was playing on.
