- Chocolate is by far the best! The only movie that could ever beat it is if Johnny Depp made a movie called "bacon!"

- Okay. I did it, Susan. I watched Julie & Julia and I loved it. I loved the scenes in Paris and the food. Good story but make sure you don't miss the extras. One is all about Julia Child's career; the other about the making of the movie. Meryl Streep put on 15 pounds making this film!

- My favorite food movie that I see listed here is "Friend Green Tomatoes" though I wouldn't want to taste the (real theme recipe) of the movie - blaaah! I also enjoyed Chocolat, and would like to see Julie & Julia. I have one of Julia Child's old recipe books and she's the master.

- Chocolat is one of my favorites (it doesn't hurt that Johnny Depp is in it!). I also love Julie and Julia, it surpassed any of my expectations based on reviews! And Ratatouille is so cute, who can pick a favorite, they are all so good!

- Awesome collection of movies! I really want to see Julie & Julia. Since I enjoy cooking and looking at what my roommate calls "food porn" these are my kind of movies.

I was especially happy to see the Pieces of April on the plexo, although my ever favourite is the Chocolat. Enjoyed the Julie & Julia a lot as well ..

- I just watched Pieces of April. I had absolutely NO idea what to expect and while it was somewhat unconventional, I loved it and my heart went out to April and her boyfriend. That's one more movie crossed off my list...and one more vote for Pieces of April on this list!

- Oh for goodness sake your main picks are mine, I've not seen Julie & Julia yet either. Now let's talk Chocolat...swoon, knees get weak I could watch that movie a million times and still have the same reaction and Ratatouille is just too ding-dang endearing to pass up - never thought I'd love a rat. Ab-fab listing for best food movies!
PS I could not leave a comment on your wonderful blog post about my hobby niche lens because I am not a member. Did you know you had the blog set like that?

- You MUST watch Julie & Julia! I really enjoyed the movie - actually went to the theater (our one trip last year) to see it - and I got a copy of the DVD for Christmas, along with a cookbook. It's absolutely charming. Great topic for a lens! You've given me some good ideas for my Netflix list!
