Project Food For Life in South Africa caters for 180 children on a daily basis with an estimated cost of $60 per child per month. On a monthly basis we make up food parcels for pensioners that need assistance, once in a while, when the government pension does not close all the gaps.( We receive no assistance from the state.) The cost of food has increased dramatically over the last year to an estimated $60 to $70 per 2 pensioners per month.     The constuction of a soup kitchen at Amstelhof primary is now underway and nearing completion, thats going to feed a remarkable 350 children  twice daily.
