    Groundnut Soup:
    Recipes:- 4 cups groundnuts, 4 tomatoes,meat,fish or chicken, 4 okras, scrabs or shrimps-optional, 21/2 litres of cold water, 1 large onion, 4 garden eggs, salt and pepper to taste.
    Method:
    Roast groundnut in sand over slow fire, cool, remove skins and grind to a smooth paste. Wash and cut up meat or chicken. Put meat or chicken with salt and water in a pot and simmer gently. Mik nut paste with little liquid or stock and add to soup. Grind pepper and onions; add tomatoes, garden egg and okoras. Season. Cook slowly till all the ingredients are tender and soup is of correct consistency. If fresh fish is used, add fish about 15 minutes before soup is ready.

    Antisepti: Honey is a natutal antiseptic. This helps in healing various wounds by reducing the infections.

    Akwukwo Ukwa With Plantain:
    Recipe:
    3 cups of bread fruit- ukwa, 1 medium size dry of fresh fish -cleaned,2 wrap ugba, 2 medium size unripe plantain-boiled, 2 cooking spoons of palmoil, 3 tablespoons crayfish-grounded, 11/2 tablespoon pepper -grounded, 1 wrap ogiri , 1 small bunch spinach, 1 cube maggi, 2 litres 0f water, and salt to taste.
    Method:
    Wash and boil the ukwa fruit with 2 litres of water till soft. Add crayfish, fish , peper and ogiri. Add maggi, ugba and palmoil and stir. Cook till the consistency thickens. Wash and shred the spinach. Simmer to the pottage and stir. Simmer for 3 minutes. Add salt to taste. Serve with boiled plantain.

    Eggplant fiber content is high, it helps our digestion process and also acts against coronary heart disease. It contains number of minerals, vitamins, protien and phytonutrients which acts as antioxident. In phytomutrients found phenolic compounds such as caffeic and chlorogenic acid and flavonoids like nausnin. Potassium in eggplant bring a balance in salt intake and maintains a nice level of hydration. It helps in regulating blod pressure.
    It also contain folate, mangnesium and naicin as well as copper. Maganese and vitamin B1. Eggplant contains a potent antioxidant called nasium which prevent damage of cell menbrane. Nasunin reduces the formation of free radicalc leading to protection of blood cholesteral from per oxidation and prevention of cellullar damages that may cause cancer. It also diminishesn free radical damage in joint that often give rise to rneumatoid arthritis.
