I don't know about you but if I can eat my way slimmer instead of having to do real work like exercise and stuff then I'm all ears...and mouth too. :o)
I've read about some foods that burn fat and wanted to learn more about these so called fat burning foods. And what I've learned is that there is some proven results and some clinical studies that show eating certain foods can help promote fat burning.
This lens will highlight some foods that burn fat and will also point you to other resources and books if you want to learn more about burning fat fast.

Spicy Foods - Cayenne Peppers, Red Peppers, anything that contains Capsaicin in it.
Foods with these ingredients raise your heart rate and your metabolism as well which helps you burn calories and fat faster. Not only will these foods add some kick to your meals, they will help you lose weight.
Two of the hot sauces I like to eat are Frank's Red Hot Sauce and Louisiana's Original Red Hot Sauce. I add them to my eggs in the morning, to my ham and turkey sandwiches for lunch and dinner. I add them to my BBQ meals.
And if you're really brave and want a food that burns fat like no other try the habanero pepper. It is one of the hottest chili peppers known to man. It will knock your socks off. That will have you burning calories in no time. It's so hot your fat will have no choice but to melt away.
Spicy foods are some of the best foods that burn fat. Almost quite literally. :o)

Here are some foods that pack on the fat and prevent you from burning fat
Saturated animal fats
Also known as fatty meats, especially those found in beef and pork. This also includes the skin on chicken, turkey, and other poultry items, as well as full-fat dairy products such as cheese, milk, and cream. Artery clogging fat like this can ruin your chances of getting lean and literally kill you over time. Stick to lean cuts of meat and non/low fat versions of milk and cheeses, all eaten in moderation.
Alcoholic Beverages
I know this is going to be a tough one for a lot of people, as alcohol has worked its way into daily life for most people. It is possible to consume alcohol wisely and in moderation, such as a fine glass of wine at dinner. For reasons too numerous to mention (liver disease, empty calories, etc.) don't overdo it on alcoholic beverages. In fact, if you were drinking a couple of beers each day, you could probably drop 10 pounds of fat within a month or so just by cutting back to 1 or 2 per week. If you're going to drink, keep it in moderation and go for the light choices or a small amount of wine with meals every so often.
Caffeine
This is another tough one for many people. Caffeine is part of most every person's morning in the form of coffee. Caffeine can give you a jumpstart, for sure, but caffeine also dehydrates your body, and this leads to all sorts of problems. When you're dehydrated, you get thirsty. Instead of drinking water, most people will reach for a second cup of coffee. Your body can also trick you into thinking you're hungry when you're dehydrated, which leads to overeating. Dehydration can slow your fat burning furnace to a halt quickly! If you're going to drink coffee, make sure it is just 1 cup, in moderation, and follow it up with twice the amount of water. Or, try the decaf varieties and follow it up with just as
much water. And watch out for the caffeine in diet pops too. Giving up caffeine is not easy, I know, but once you're following the guidelines presented in my fat burning furnace book, you'll wake up every morning full of energy, and you won't need that buzz...you'll already have it naturally.
