At one of the entrances is a shopping center with a Kroger, shops and restaurants. I hear of people living in Forest springs not needing their car to go to the grocery store. Also, within minutes you can be on the Gene Snyder Freeway and head almost anywhere in Louisville quickly.Also, just a few minutes drive puts you right in the middle of anything and everything you could want. The Springhurst Towne Center has literally hundred of stores and restaurants. There is a Target, Kohl's, Meijer, O'Charlies, Buffalo Wild Wings, On the Border, Tumbleweed, Tinseltown Movie Theater, Office Depot and the list goes on. Also, just a mile or so away is The Summit with more shops and restaurants. Barnes and Noble, The Gap, Chicos, Ann Taylor, Express, Jos A. Bank, Abercrombie & Fitch, Banana Republic, J Crew, Old Navy, Build a Bear just to name a few.
Also, Brownsboro crossing is the newest retail and office development in the area. It has a Lowes, Costco, Red Robbin, and Norton is building a new hospital and doctor's office facility.
