This stamp is valid forever--it will not expire and will never need additional postage to send a first-class letter that weighs one-ounce.

"Do I Need A Forever Stamp?"

For most brides and grooms, the announcement of the forever stamp really only means a new design to choose from. Most brides and grooms buy their postage right before mailing their wedding invitations, save the dates, or other wedding stationery. As a result, it's highly unlikely that they really need a forever stamp to hedge against price increases.
