Forex Power Strategy Course Review - Jason Steele's Online Forex Trading Lessons

After practicing my own forex strategies for several months on a demo account, I decided to look for a commerical forex trading system. Upon further research, I discovered that almost all forex products fell into one of two categories.

Automated forex trading software: "Set it on autopilot. Let a robot make money while you sleep!"

Monthly subscription to signals: "We will send you buy and sell trades from our secret algorithm with a 90% success rate!"

I can show you exactly why both kinds of forex products are scams. Don't waste your time and money on these products.

The automated trading software is a scam because it is impossible to guarantee profits, so every autopilot forex system comes with a disclaimer. Searching online, I found plenty of negative reviews. In principle, they could sell you a complete piece of junk, and since you agreed to their terms of service and disclaimer before purchase, there is nothing you can do about it.

The monthly subscription to forex signals is an even trickier scam. Say a forex service has 1000 subscribers. Then, they tell half of the subscribers to go long on USD/GBP and the other half to go short, and set buy or sell stops. 500 people will make a profit. 500 people will lose money and possibly quit the service (or not). Then, of the 500 profitable subscribers, they will tell 250 to go long on JPY/EUR and 250 to go short. Again, 250 will profit, and 250 will lose. Even if 250 people quit, they are still making money from the 250 who stay. Because not everyone quits after one bad trade, and new subscribers keep joining, they can keep this scam up indefinitely. But the service will not help you.

Frankly, if a forex product sounds too good to be true, it probably is. But are there any good forex products?

While searching for forex systems, I came across the Forex Power Strategy Course offered by Jason Steele.

Although I was not sure if this forex course was worth the price, it was clear that Jason Steele's product was different from the scams above. The Forex Power Strategy Course does not give you a system of robots or monthly signals with promises of easy profits. Rather, the course offers an education, which seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to buy.

Currently, the Forex Power Strategy Course costs just under $200. Considering that another computerized course, the famous Rosetta language packages cost $300-400, the price seemed okay. Pay $400 to master Spanish or $200 to master forex trading? And compared with college class prices, this was definitely a bargain.

However, the questions remains, is the Forex Power Strategy Course worth enrolling in?

The first obvious review is by Jason Steele himself. If you go to the main website for the Forex Power Strategy Course you will see several videos by Jason Steele demonstrating proof that he has made money as a forex trader.

However, what I wanted to see were reviews by his students. It appears that the Forex Power Strategy Course was offered previously, and there are several reviews from the last class available online, mostly at forums or review sites. I spent a long time digging into websites. Here is what I learned from them.

1) Reviews were generally positive. I did not see any negative reviews.

2) Beginners found the course particularly helpful. One student wrote that Jason Steele "presents the material so that it is very easy to pick up."

3) Intermediate students also found the material useful. One student noted that it was "the second forex education material" he had purchased, but still found it "worth the price". Several students also mentioned learning "advanced strategies".

4) Students have had some success trading. Not everyone mentioned personal forex experiences. But one former student claimed to have made some money before getting bored with the numbers. Another student claimed to make money on a demo account, and had been to busy to transition to a full account.

In compiling these conclusions, I only included people who had clearly taken the course. I ignored general articles that did not offer any insights into the actual Forex Power Strategy Course. About half the reviews included full names or locations, so I could be sure of legitimate reviews.

One reason that many reviewers could not go into specifics about the lessons is that they are required not to divulge the methods that Jason Steele teaches. However, I did find one video review offering a brief glimpse into the course.

After looking into the Forex Power Strategy Course, I have deduced the following:

1) The Forex Power Strategy Course is first and foremost an educational product.

2) The price of the education is reasonable.

3) There is no reason for an educational product to be a scam. Based on reviews I have found, the Forex Power Strategy Course probably offers useful material for both beginner and intermediate traders.

I realized that if I am serious about investing money in the forex market, the best place to start investing is in myself. There is no way to "lose" if I invest in my learning.

I looked at many, many forex services and found most to be scams. Only a few products seemed worthwhile. If you have been trying to master forex trading on your own, I think the Forex Power Strategy Course would benefit you in these ways:

1)Saves you money from costly beginner mistakes. The course provides a clear, organized education on forex trading so that you don't have any serious gaps in your knowledge.

2) Makes you achieve your forex goals more quickly. You can learn through trial and error, or from a teacher. The second is obviously faster.

The course allows you to move at your own pace using online videos, which is convenient. Someone still looking to develop a successful forex strategy will benefit from the Forex Power Strategy Course.
