Brightwater House

Enjoy 60 secluded acres on 3500' of Sol Duc River frontage. This contemporary house has beautiful views from every window. There is a wood stove to take the chill off rainy days. A large deck extends out from the River Room allowing a pristine view of the river ecosystem. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable sitting areas. One room has a fireplace, another an outside entrance to a deck looking over the river. One room has a additional single bed and one a pull-out queen couch for an extra person.

Fisherman's Widow B&B

The bed & breakfast is decorated with the outdoorsman in mind, accented with a touch of lace and elegance. You are welcome to walk the miles of private roads just across the river. Fishermen can launch their boat in the morning and not worry about shutting their boat trailer. A gourmet breakfast is served. Private entrace with jacuzzi bath and hot tub.

Stay at this 200 acre ranch in the Hoh River Valley. You may fish for steelhead, salmon, or trout from their river banks (500 yards away) with proper licensing. Their cottages are named after characters in "Twilight" names include Bella, Edward, and Jacob. They rent by the month. The innkeeper volunteers for the chamber so guest can gain knowledge of Forks, WA.

Quillayute River Resort

Each of the five riverside housekeeping suites has a fully-equipped kitchen with charming, completely refurbished 1950's era appliances, and brand new pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. Kitchens also come equipped with toasters, microwaves, coffee makers, coffee, salt and pepper. Bedrooms have either two double beds or one King size bed, DISH TV with ESPN, and DVD/CD players. Other amenities in all suites include DSL Internet connections, clock radios, telephones, and a collection of books for the non-electronically inclined. Each suite has its own set of deck chairs and a charcoal barbeque on the covered porch overlooking the river. Each suite is also separated from the next by an enclosed garage.

Sol Duc Cabin Fever

Sol Duc Cabin Fever is nestled in the lush green foliage for which Washington is famous. The living area is fully furnished with a two burner cook top, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, under the counter refrigerator, pots, pans, dishes, and eating utensils. A full size bed is available along with a small table and two chairs for dining. There is also a full size futon mattress to accommodate more people. Guests will enjoy the six foot covered porch.

Attractions 

Forks Timber Museum

The Forks Timber Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week. Learn about the loggers of the past and their tools of trade. The museum displays exhibits depicting local history dating back to the 1870's. Outside, there is a memorial garden, fire lookout tower and nature trails.

Makah Museum

Artifacts, depicting the Makah's history are beautifully displayed. These priceless objects originated from the archaeological excavations of the Ozette village at Cape Alava, which had been perfectly preserved under a mudslide 500 hundred years ago. The Makah museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily between Memorial Day and mid-September. Winter hours are the same, except closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
