Step by Step Illustrated Guide to Formatting Posters and Properly Spacing The AllPoster Titles
Inserting posters is easy with these simple steps. No matter what type of page you are writing, you can usually find a poster to enhance it among the half million options offered by Allposters. Affiliate members can add posters and images from popular movies, music groups, sports teams, fine art, inspirational sayings and so much more. So, we have an opportunity to make some money in addition to getting artwork for our lenses.
If you're like me, the frustration comes from the text written below the poster after it is inserted into the lens. Or more often, from the missing text and large gap below the poster.
Good News! Your troubles are over!
Once you know the simple tricks, Allposters is very easy to use, and formatting the posters to include the poster name and any other information you choose takes only a few extra second. I have presented the method I use in easy to follow, step by step illustrated directions.

Once Logged In, Click on "Link Builder" in the Banner on Top of the Page

Next Click on "Static" in the Left Hand Column

Now Choose Your Category and Then Click "Search"

When You Find the Poster You Want, Click on "Get HTML"

Here I Change Size to "Large Image" and "Yes" to Include Product Dimension, Then "Update"

You Will Need to Either Email or Highlight and Copy the HTML

When You Paste the HTML Code into Squidoo, It Looks Like This:
<a class="APCTitleAnchor" href="http://affiliates.allposters.com/link/redirect.asp?item=4028527&AID=470792898&PSTID=1<ID=2&lang=1" target="_blank" title="Starry Night, c. 1889"><img src="http://imagecache2.allposters.com/images/ARTPUB/AF1-00020_36_24.jpg" alt="Starry Night, c. 1889" border="0" height="267" width="400"></a>

</span>
Next We Need To Remove All Those Extra Spaces And Carriage Returns
Red "X" Are In the Spaces to be Removed - Blue Underlines Are the Words Which Will Appear Under the Poster

I make a few changes to the provided text. I like to center the poster so I add the HTML code <p align="center">. I also prefer to see the artist name as first name followed by last. Finally, I change "Buy at AllPosters" to "Click Here for Information or to Buy at AllPosters."
After making these changes and removing the spaces as marked above, the text should look like:
<p align="center"> a class="APCTitleAnchor" href="http://affiliates.allposters.com/link/redirect.asp?item=4028527&AID=470792898&PSTID=1<ID=2&lang=1" target="_blank" title="Starry Night, c. 1889"><img src="http://imagecache2.allposters.com/images/ARTPUB/AF1-00020_36_24.jpg" alt="Starry Night, c. 1889" border="0" height="267" width="400" /></a><img src="http://tracking.allposters.com/allposters.gif?AID=470792898&PSTID=1<ID=2&lang=1" border="0" height="1" width="1" /><br /><a class="APCTitleAnchor" href="http://affiliates.allposters.com/link/redirect.asp?item=4028527&AID=470792898&PSTID=1<ID=2&lang=1" target="_blank" title="Starry Night, c. 1889 Poster">Starry Night, c. 1889 Poster</a><br /><a class="APCAnchor" href="http://affiliates.allposters.com/link/redirect.asp?c=c&search=28945&AID=470792898&PSTID=1<ID=2&lang=1" target="_blank" title="van Gogh, Vincent Poster">Vincent van Gogh</a><br />36 in. x 24 in.<br /><a class="APCTitleAnchor" href="http://affiliates.allposters.com/link/redirect.asp?item=4028527&AID=470792898&PSTID=1<ID=2&lang=1" target="_blank" title="Starry Night, c. 1889">Click Here for Information or to Buy at AllPosters.com</a><br />
And the Module Looks Like This . . .
Did You Struggle with Inserting AllPosters?
I wrote this lens as I was always frustrated with the gap under my posters. I figure I am not the only one, so I hope this helps lots of lensmasters.
Trouble Shooting
When it still isn't printing the poster name or size, it is usually due to a return I didn't notice because it appeared as if it were a natural space at the end of a line. So check all rows of coding.
