Why did you create Forum 4 Women?

Well, I was checking online for female oriented forums. I was interested in finding a forum that allowed freedom for signatures where I could meet other women.

Unfortunately, the forums I found were more about articles than anyting else. I thought it must be pretty time consuming to go there and try to find the right topic to answer a question.

Other forums were very quiet and not maintained very well.

One even had pretty much the same categories all over the forum with different clever names to them. It just wasn't organized.

I know there are a lot of Mother forums or Professional Women forums, but there didn't seem to be many for ALL women.

My children are 3 and 4 years old. I enjoy chatting about my children, but I really want to be able to talk about many different topics as well.

Create Your Own Support Groups

At the Forum 4 Women, you can even create your own support groups. All you need to do is let me know (Christi or Admin), and I will set one up for you.

You can have the support group open to be veiwed by everyone, or you can make it only accessible to members. Depending on the subject, you could even have a support group by invite only. That way, only those you invite knows it exists.

Support groups are completely free, so please ask if you'd like to start one.

Why should you join Forum 4 Women?

First, we're one of the few forums out there that actually support women with their business, their cause, their family and their health. Many forums restrict signatures or only allow their designed tags with no links. Meanwhile, they advertise all over the board.

Forum 4 Women is out there to support women and what each woman wants to support. If you have a business, share it with us. If you have a cause, let us know about it. If you want to show off your children, we'd love to see them. Your signature and your profile is your own personal part of the forum.

Second, We encourage member suggestions. If you see something you think should change, let us know. If you'd like another board for a topic you're interested in, let us know. We're happy to customize the forums for our members.

Third, you can even create your own forums. Lets say you have a group of women all interested in horses. You're currently in a Yahoo group meaning that your inbox is always full. All you need to do, is let us know, and we'll create a group just for you. You'll be able to communicate with your members much easier, your inbox won't always be full, and women not on Yahoo will be able to see your group.
