Attracting Traffic to your website by using the power of forums!
In the following lens there is information on the power of forums. The information includes how to market your websites using forums and how to harness the potential profits from the traffic you receive by following the tips in this article.
The power of forums
All you have to do is either create or find a forum which relates to your business and or website(s). Once you have found a forum you should frequently search for questions which you can answer.
Now you must make sure that when you answer a question your information is both helpful and correct.
Try to make it as detailed as possible without getting too technical. This will help your reputation as an expert in your field.
The more questions you answer the more you will be known by the public.
Receiving traffic from Signatures
You're probably asking yourself, but how is this marketing my businesses and websites? Well just answering the questions isn't but the trick is to create a signature.
A signature shows up after every post you create. In your signature you should enter your company or website banner (in a smaller version) along with your website url or business name.
Also add a small description of what your business/website offers.
Now each time you answer a question your signature will appear.
If a reader likes the information that you have provided while answering the question, they would be far more likely to click on your signature which directs them to your website.
Now imagine for a second if your answer to a question was one sentence long which did not help at all.
Do you think that someone would click on your website? I highly doubt that anyone would click on your signature because your information was not helpful.
Do you see how forums can help you attract free traffic to your website? It is a lot easier if you are passionate about the subject you are answer questions on.
Here is an example of a signature, it is my old websites banner with a link.

How should I construct my answer correctly?
Now there are many ways in which you can construct your answer. One of the ways I have known to be successful is this.
- Greet the person by using their name.
- Clarify what you think their question is asking in a short paragraph or a sentence.
- Then after you have clarified their question start a new paragraph and start answering that question.
Tips about posting your answers
Just a tip at this point, make your paragraphs fairly short as readers tend to get bored if a paragraph is too long.
After you have answered the question just put a little note at the bottom saying something along these lines "If you don't understand or need more help, please don't hesitate to contact me."
You may also add a link to your website if you'd like to. But sometimes this is regarded as spamming by some people.
If you are going to add a link to your website just say, if I do not get back to you if you need more help just visit my website and leave me a comment.
The better reputation you have the more people will visit your websites.
It is possible that you will get flamed on any forums.
The best thing to do if this ever happens is simply to agree with them, apologize if you did something wrong or ask them to edit their post politely.
If it persists do not retaliate by arguing back as it can ruin your reputation. Just report them to the forum moderators and they will be dealt with.
Forums, they provide great power which if you can harness properly you will become far more successful.
Just make sure the information on the websites you are directing people to have great information which can help them.
If you are just directing them to a website which is only selling products they are most likely going to leave your website straight away.
If you provide great information regularly as well as selling a product or two, people will come back to read your new information and sometimes this leads to purchasing products.
I hope the information that I have provided for you is helpful, teaches you the power of online forums and easy to understand.
