Purple Star for Friends of the Park

This was the first lens that I ever published.  It was on July 20, 2008 and I wanted to try to get our Friends of the Park as a Squidoo Charity and use the lens as our main website since we couldn't afford to set one up otherwise.  My dream came true at the first of this month with us becoming an official Squidoo Charity and then today this lens received a Purple Star.  I am so thrilled and so proud of all our wonderful volunteers that make up this organization.  Thank you to whoever nominated Friends of the Park.  Thank you, Squidoo!  Thank you to all who visit, rate and leave comments.  Thank you to all who set a percentage of their royalties to Friends of the Park.  Thank you to all who donate $1 or more to this great charity dedicated to our Veterans Park!  Thank you ALL!
