Fox Music Company, is located Downtown Watertown on the corner of Main Street and First Street. The record store is in the historic "Merchants National Bank Building" Our entrance is on First Street at the top of the wheel chair ramp.
The City of Watertown is located in the South Eastern portion of Wisconsin and is centered where the counties of Dodge and Jefferson meet. The North side of Watertown sits in Dodge County, the South side in Jefferson County. In the East-West direction we are midway between Madison and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Record Store Mascots or is it "Mas-Cats"??
Meet Tyson and Boogie
Tyson and Boogie Currently reside at the record store Fox Music Company.
They are the "Record Store Mascots or "Mas-Cats""??
Tyson the "Tortoise Shell" is the record store greeter, some time during your visit to Fox Music you will most likely chat with Tyson. She Loves all the attention she can get and will even allow you to pick her up and,.... will tolerate youngins' to a degree. Tyson is a "Grade A Ham" all the way!!
Boogie the "Tuxedo Cat" on the other hand will not sit still long enough for pictures very often. Boogie is way to curious as to what you are doing, but wants nothing to do with it once he figures it out. Boogie does not like to be picked up and is very selective with who he chats with, but once he gets goin',oh boy! and when you return he will shine around and let you in on whats been happening. If Boogie hears the sound of children even on a Record he disappears into one of his Cat Hide-Outs until the coast is clear.

What you have here is a music show. It's progressive rock mixed with a little blues, folk, punk, and other odds and ends. Each show runs 75 to 80 minutes. It is intended to be listened to and enjoyed in it's entirety as a showcase of what we consider the best music made in the past and the best that's being made today. It's like old school freeform FM radio of the late 60's early 70's where the best of us found the good stuff in between the fluff. It is indeed free advertising/promotion for the musicians and bands within.

Review of Andy Tans In-Store Performance
the Andy Tanas Show at Fox Music was an intimate and entertaining performance. The show started with a broken guitar string,........I mean straight out of the case, Andy and the crowd laughed it off, while Andy changed his string he regaled us with some Andyisms, thoughts and insights that are Andy. Musically the show started with Guns and Roses which was a real crowd pleaser. Andy played us a few tracks from "Songs from the New South" some of his new songs and a mix of covers of such artists as John Prine, Warren Zevon, Robert Johnson and Ratt to name a few. Woven through the plaid of genres, Andy entertained us with some stories, hometown stories, Rock n Roll stories and if you know Andy, he's a great story teller. After the show Andy Signed the usual memorabilia, sold autographed copies of "Songs of the New South" then he just hung out with us, answered questions..... or was it told some more storys. A true entertainer! Thanks Andy!
