MY ART AND POETRY

We are the evil men
we do not think as they do
we think for ourselves
we are the monsters because we will not share in the common dream
We seek the high ground there in a shining city on top of a hill
we have our own path to follow and it is not the one paved for us
we are the evil men or so they tell us
and we shall bring them hell that stand in opposition to our freedom
the truth is that we are their contrast
we are the light to their dark and we show a different way
onward to a brighter future and damn the labels given by the lesser men
for we are the evil man and we shall bring hell to those in opposition
our birthright has been handed down by our fathers and payed for in blood
we are the evil men and we want that which is ours by all that is right
we will use might to defend that which is ours and if need be pay to keep it yet again
We have our liberty and all they have are labels
let us bring them hell

There is a forest somewhere in my mind and it is there that blows the gentle winds of time.

The trees that once stood proudly there are marked by the shadows left behind.

There is a wind swept plain somewhere which will bring forth flowers after the tear-eyed falling rain.

But what is a plain but an empty place where a mighty forest stood.

What cleared the land is unimportant and knowing does no good.

Was it fire, age or ax is inconsequential but knowing that it was there...

"That it was there ..." is all that is essential.

When the last tree has fallen and melted in the ground, if you listen carefully then maybe you will hear the sound.

The sound of new life springing from the ground and growing in the shadow of forest that no longer is around.

Chasing the dial when oh what the heck
I find a fellow whack-job
his name is Glenn Beck

On satellite radio or on FNC
Beck is there for the folks who long to be free
breaking down the events
that effect folks like you
and whack-jobs like me

Our government hijacked by libs
it seems so surreal
but Glenn knows the score
he breaks down the deal
Chewing on the liberal agenda
as though it were going to be his only meal

You hear the stories and you watch the news
but other analysts just give me the blues
so I tune into beck while sucking down brews

He explains the liberal punch line with humor and class
but Nancy Pelosi just thinks he is one big pain in the ass

Here is to you Glenn Beck
We love you so much
you're the voice of reason
when our government is so out of touch
