I bougtht this because i want my daughter to get more exercise . She just loves it and it also teaches her at the same time. Who could ask for anything more. I just love it!!!!!!!!!
Tara, Aunt of a 4 yr old, from Burlington, VT
My high-energy nephew loves to jump on his motorcyle and "ride real fast" - what an excellent idea to pull together education and physical activity! He lives in a condo, and this is absolutely perfect!
Tokqua, Grandmother, from Tuscola IL
My 4 year old grandson loves it! I bought this for his birthday and he would not stop playing it. He even woke up in the middle of the night to play - oops! His 2 year old brother wants to play also. Great gift!

Fisher-Price Smart Cycle Product Review

The Nintendo Wii has introduced console gaming to the mainstream by combining fun activities with physical exercise. The Fisher Price Smart Cycle aka Fisher Price Exercise Bike seeks to do the same with a much younger audience: 3- to 6-year-olds, in fact. Instead of waving a wireless remote around, little ones pedal a stationary bike around a virtual course. The Smart Cycle connects to a TV using a long composite AV cable, so you can sit the bike a good distance from the screen.
Turn it on and the child is asked to choose the type of vehicle (ironically, a bicycle isn't one of them), color and horn they'd like. Then they're off on a road with encircled letters of the alphabet to hit along the way. If they tire of this game, there are plenty more to keep them occupied, such as Letter Creek, where they control a frog to snatch fireflies from the air to spell a word.
The Smart Cycle uses a game cartridge system, so you're not just stuck with one collection. There's a bit of assembly involved out of the box but nothing more than a Phillips screwdriver is needed. The Cycle is powered by four D-cell batteries, which aren't included, so make sure you throw a pack of these into the shopping trolley as well. One set of batteries lasts a surprisingly long time.
