I love fractal art! Discovered it in 2003, three years after getting my first computer...and embracing my inner geek. By 2005 I was uploading files to CafePress on classroom computers -- when I was technically supposed to be teaching kindergarten. Realized that it was time to move on and spend all my waking hours with computers. Making fractal art.

After I discovered fractals I emailed all the people who were big in fractal art at the time, and applied to join their groups and web rings, and they all ignored me so I realized I was on my own. I found some great fractals on Zazzle and started Zazzling. There I got to know Veronika Ketterlin, who calls herself SophieLerlei (German for "so many different things"), and (drum roll) here are the first and possibly the wonderfulest of Fractals That Are Not Mine:

Fractals Go To War

General Ray Odierno

Is this art? Arguable. But fractal patterns are being used not only on uniforms, but to camouflage weapons, vehicles, helicopters and planes. Thanks to Rich Isaacman, R&D VP of Seaspace Corporation for telling me about this.
