Fun With Fractals

I've always enjoyed fractal designs, but thought you had to be a geometry whiz in order to create them. It wasn't until I signed up for a Zazzle account and began seeing fractal designs of different skill levels from various artists. This sent me to Google, where I found all kinds of software programs that created fractals. Some were easier to use than others.

Once I found a program that I could work with, I began designing fractals like crazy. Then I began posting them on a variety of products in my Zazzle store.

This lens will showcase fractals designed by me and other artists. I will also include as many resources I can find to help you create fractals of your own.

Fractal Software 

Fractals for Mac OS X
This is the program I use to create fractals. Once you download the demo, use the tutorial on the website to get a feel of the interface. A downloadable manual is also included. One thing that bugged me was that I couldn't save in the demo mode. Fortunately, this program is very inexpensive at $20.00.

I've just started testing this out. What's cool about this program is that you can make 3-D fractals.
