- Interesting lens...i heard Ouija board is dangers....you get what you want but its for a price.. and the price is your blood..my friend used to call spirits and each time he called some amount of blood was sucked up by the spirits...he says he can see spirits for a long time in the nights, even on the streets spirits follow him but not do anything since he started using calling spirits, they invade your privacy so think 10 times if you people really want to call a spirit, my advice is stay away, every thing which TrueGhostTales wrote is true so read it as much you can to understand better...cheers

- You call the person who wrote this "american" yet you have no idea who it could be... for all you know it could be a one armed hooker named Steve from Canada. Also don't call people stupid when you yourself are so uneducated you can't spell the words in your sentence.

- I believe the Ouija board does not work. I have tried it before, following the directions very carefully, doing everything as it says. I played with my dad, and we are both VERY honest. Unlike most kids, I don't believe in ghosts and paranormal activity, even though the idea fascinates me and I wish it were real! So I told my dad not to move it, and I obviously wouldn't move it for our entertainment. So we were playing and the instructions said to wait 1-5 minutes for an answer (but we have watched Ouija videos on YouTube, and in most videos the planchette moved immediately). After about 6 minutes, the both of us sitting with the board in between us, lights dimmed, and fingers lightly on the planchette, I said, "I feel stupid," We both started laughing, and added, " I mean-- I wasn't expecting anything to happen anyways." When I told my friends at school the next day, they kept telling me things like, "You were probably doing it wrong" and things like that. Some people just believe in something so much that they refuse to believe it is fake-- even when it is.

- story to contribute.
okay, so i believe i was playing it when i was 15 or so? idk, around there. anyhow, of course we would ask the same stupid questions, blah blah blah, you know, common questions. took me a few years to put two and two together, but i recently figured it out. back when i was playing it, i asked who am i going to marry. back to that, i went on vacation last fall and met my current gf, lets just call her alice, but the ouija board said her name in pinyin (latin charachters of chinese) and it wasnt til last month that i figured that out. cause i was thinking about it, thought who was i supposed to marry, and it had ended up spelling out the name of my current girlfriend. idk, still weird as hell to me considering id never met her before and it somehow knew her first and last name, thats just my input and a little story for anyone that doesnt believe in them :)

- Although some people insist that not all experiences are bad, this is very dangerous. God does not want us to seek fortune tellers or psychics and no goo spirit would come to us through this means. Speak to God through prayer, angels will appear or help in more low key ways without theatrics.
As a rebellious, "I gotta see for myself" teenager, I experienced a Ouija board and wrote about it on my Friday the 13th lens "We are not alone". This was my first and last experience having proved to myself it is real. And evil spirits don't need a board to get to you, but you sure allow them in by this means. If you meant this lens to be a warning to others, great job.

- Great lens! I made several Ouija boards in college for friends ... intricate and artistic. About a year later I hunted them down and burned them ... only 1 was not found and burned. The friend I had made it for went to get it, when I showed up at his house, and the board was gone ... he had kept it behind a dresser in the guest room. About a year after that he sold the house and moved; he was sure it was haunted. I burned 3 of the 4 boards that I'd made; each had brought creepy experiences to those I'd made them for ... including the one I'd made for myself. A shame really they were quite beautiful, but I haven't played with one since.

- I recently used a ouiji board, and I honestly believe its true... Me and my friends sat in a circle, in his loft conversion. the boy, whose house we were at called at 'we wish to communicate with the spirit world. Are there any spirits?' The planchette moved slowly to yes. For about half an hour we were talking to anold man who died aged 89 called Tom. All seemed fine so we decided to try again... This time another spirit came, called Callum. We asked for the age and he said 1... My friend burst into tears, as that was her baby brothers name and age of death. We asked for the last name... he spelt C-H-A-P-L-I-N... her last name. We asked if he was her brother, but he quickly moved to goodbye. we decided to try again, as we were only getting good spirits... bad decision. A spirit came, we asked for its name but it quickly splet NO! We asked if it was bad or good, and it turned to bad... suddenly, the lights whent out and his window, which we had locked, swung open. Someone grabbed my thigh and cut my leg, and something else cut my friend, Daniella. We all run downstairs, regretting our 3rd attempt. I have tried a ouiji board since then, and everything went fine, but my advice is, BE CAREFUL!!!

- There is some interesting stories on this website. But, don't fear the ouigi board like a lot of these say to. The ouigi board is a beautiful thing if used for the right reasons. I've used the ouigi board a lot and i have come in contact with 'bad spirits' but it's nothing to freak out about, you just need to treat them with respect. & the ouigi board is absolutely real. it's not fake like people say. If you played you'd see yourself.

- I've had some strange experiences with the oija board as well. Me and some idiotic friends of mine were asking typical questions like, "Who is going to win the superbowl?" (it answered correctly by the way- the Colts) It answered a few more questions that were unexplainably correct. It got a little boring after a while, so we decided to take it the the next level. We turned off all electronic devices in the room and asked it to turn on the television and the xbox- both turned on almost immediately. We asked it to wake up my friends puppy who had been soundfully asleep the entire time- it picked up it's head as if someone had nudged it, and the fell right back asleep. We even got it to move an empty Dr. Pepper can sitting on the kitchen table away from anyone's reach or any form of air circulation. Honestly, that was probably the scariest day of my life. The oija board was a dire prophet and was not flawed in any of it's responses. A friend of mine actually fainted while playing after speaking in a rude manor to the "spirit" (or whatever it is). It isn't a joke. I've been told the age that I will die; I pray that it's not true.

- Ok i have heard about Ouija boards and how it helps you connect with the spirits i seriously don't believe in all this stuff i mean its all fictitious..just use a simple logic how can u just communicate with some on who is no more in this world...although i have seen this kind of things in a few sitcoms i think it should be limited to that only and shouldn't be publicized and hyped like this..I feel its nothing but making fun of the people who are no more in this world and if you think souls do exist after death i would sincerely request you to read "Many lives many masters" - Dr.Brian L Weiss

I'm not sure If I should play the online ouija http://www.museumoftalkingboards.com/WebOuija.html I know I would have to know some basics and some history before I play. I wont just play the ouija board without the rules of learning. I'm connecting to god and the angels.

- my mother told me this story bout the ouija board. my mum ,aunt and their best friend loved t o try out new things .s o they made this ouija board on a piece of paper and went out to play in bright daylight.
my aunt started the game by asking
" is there a spirit among us"
the ouija said "yes"
aunt: r u an evil one
sprit : Yes.
they panicked and asked the spirit to leave.
aunt: r u gone
sprit :no
she asked again . and the spirit still replied in the negative. they got soooo freaked out that they left the board as it was and raan away.
about three days later to be precise my grandfather ,my mum tells me was diagnosed with cancer (and he passed away in about two months. my mum was only 15 )and my mums friend's(the one who played with them.) grandmother passed away.
so all i want to say is STAY AWAY FROM SUCH CRAP"dont even do it for fun

- I will never touch a ouija board again. Ever.
When I was 16, my friend and I were kinda into the occult. We didn't think we were vampires or anything, but we enjoyed a good ghost story. As did my family. And being idiot teenagers, the two of us bought a "toy" ouija board and brought it to my house.
So late one night we used the thing. Totally uninteresting, actually, I don't recall a single thing that was relayed to us via the board. Shortly thereafter we called it a night. We put the thing away....my friend was staying the night. We climbed into bed, turned out the lights, all was lovely. For a minute or two.
Until there was a physical feeling next to me, off the bed to the right side...into the darkness, that felt like a freakin' pillar of fire. I seriously nearly wet the bed. I felt physically heavier, pressed deep into the mattress, and filled with absolute, senseless terror. After what felt like forever (it was probably under a minute), I felt like it eased up some, and instead coalesced into a deep fear and foreboding, stupidly emanating from the closet. (Aren't all boogeymen in the closet? How dumb and trite is that? Especially for a 16 year old???) I regained the ability to breathe again and tried to quietly and calmly ask my friend, "Did you--"
"Yes!!!!!" she squeaked, in a high, frightened voice. "You felt it, too????"
Oh frack.
We tried to comfort ourselves, and somehow eventually managed to fall asleep. It was not a restful sleep, however.
The next three days were horrid. We were fine as long as we were at school, and kinda okay in the house, but the bedroom simply scared us and the closet was absolutely horrifying. We really tried to talk ourselves out of feeling like this, but it didn't work.
Eventually we had to shamefacedly go to my parents and admit we were being silly and stupid, but had managed to scare ourselves non-stop for three days. We confessed the whole ouija board thing and how we couldn't sleep and we were losing our minds. My mother's reaction stunned me.
"That dirty son of a b****," she said, with real anger burning in her eyes now. "So THAT'S why I've been having nightmares. Mess with MY girls, will you?"
There was a good deal of messing about with certain candles and colors and Names. And us whimpering through the house. And once it was kicked out, my G-d, was it livid. We both felt like there was a dome of mad fury over the house; raging, oppressive. We said as much. "It is IN the house?" mom asked.
"No," we whispered, "But it's like it's covering the house, from way up high!"
"That's fine," she replied. "It can rage all it wants to out there, but it won't do it a d*mned bit of good."
We had obviously gotten rid of the ouija board by that point. And within a day, the feeling of that dome dissipated and went away.
That was over 25 years ago. My heart rate still goes up when I think about it.
Ouija boards are not inherently evil things, but they *are* beacons, calling out to anything that might be trolling by. You don't want to put out an indiscriminate, trans-dimensional calling call. The thing on the other end just may not be as curious and friendly as you.

- when i was in 4 grade i was watching TV with a friend. it was late and a special turned on about ouija boards and could we really contact the dead. they hadn't even started the show but i got this terrified, really scared feeling in my chest. i freaked out and told her to turn off the TV. if just the sight of one on a screen is enough to scare me away i'm sure I'll never so much as touch one in my lifetime, and if just the sight is enough i know they're real.

- I would never mess with a ouija board. I already knew about the problems they can cause. My mother has warned me and I trust her. I leave them alone because you never know if you get a soul, spirit or demon. you could always get the devil or Beelzebub- who is known for taking over bodies and murdering as well as forcing many to commit sins and also give terrifying nightmares. I would advise everyone to stay away from them and to pray. not only in christian tongue but in many different religions because demons exist in many religions and you could block one type of demon but another may be from a different religion.

- Pretty much confirms what I already suspected. Why would anyone taunt a spirit of any kind? NO THANK YOU. We messed around with it when we were kids but I never had enough nerve to continue for very long because I was TOO FREAKED OUT about what could happen.
I experienced a bad spirit one night when I was all alone in my home as an adult..scared the living daylights out of me. I heard it stomping through my kitchen toward my bedroom...there it stood in the doorway - saw it with my own 2 eyes and my heart felt as though it would burst through my chest.
I would never in a billion years purchase one as a toy for my kids! Freaks me out just reading these stories!!

I didn't say anything for fear of getting into trouble with a parent or the school..but I will never forget that mindless girl's comments. - I think they are not toys...for sure.

- Good to know that all this stories got a scientifically explanation to them. Ouija boards are bullshit, and you move the pointer unconsciouslly. You can watch Penn and Tellers Bullshit episode about Ouija board were they explain a little more (season one).
There is no harm in playing, and everything happens either by chance (like trees falling, and people dieing), or in you mind.

- I have read many many stories of Ouija Boards in these forums. These are doubtless, written by Western people, mostly from USA, it seems. I could not find any one written by Indian or Middle Eastern people. It seems that we in the East are relatively unaware of these things. I heard these boards are now widely used by girls in India: only in student hostels and the girls ask questions related to their boyfriends, marriage, etc. Otherwise nobody has heard anything about them. I am shocked to read such terms as “playing the board”, as if it is a play. I am surprised to read that these things are sold in toy stores and children use it. This is dangerous. Though I have not encountered any harm by the use of the boards, I do not recommend it to any inexperienced person, never to children.
It was in 2007 that I heard the name Ouija Board and to this day I haven’t seen a proper one. I am about 56 now. It was the occasion of the wedding of one of my brothers-in-law in a village in India. The wedding itself was on the next day and the big house was full of men, women and children. All were very busy in various matters. Some of the children were in a bedroom playing. My son, a boy of about 9 then, my daughter of 14 years and their cousins of age of 10 to 18 were there. I was standing outside the room where children (and teenagers) played. The Sun was about to set. One of the girls came to me and asked:
“Are you scared of anything? ”
“No. Why?” I replied.
“Then come inside the room; we are going to play Ouija board. We want a man who is not afraid to sit there to give us courage. Come inside”.
I didn’t understand what she said and what kind of board she was referring to. I thought it was just a game of cards or similar stuff that they wanted to play. I entered the room. The younger one of the girls (call her N), who was bolder, had made a crude Ouija Board. It was a piece of cardboard in circular shape with the English alphabet and the digits 0 to 9 pasted all around the edge. The room was full of children and very noisy and I thought they were playing a word puzzle or something and sat on a nearby bed, disinterested in the whole proceeding s. After a little while, I observed that they kept a small inverted steel tumbler (glass) at the centre of the board under which they kept a small piece of burning candle. I paid no attention to them and just sat there, reading a newspaper in the dim light coming from a 40W bulb. After some time, they switched off the light and used an electric torch when they wanted. I thought it all crazy. Since there were too many children in the room, I could see nothing what they were doing.
After some time, the same teenage girl N, asked me to come to the board and touch the glass. Her elder sister and my daughter were scared to touch it. So she requested me and my son to touch the glass. I didn’t know what I was doing, but I touched it as she asked. In the semi dark room (it was not night still), the candle piece was lit and glass was placed over it. It was hot for a minute and Ok when the candle got put off. She asked us to chant “Good spirit, please come….” aloud a number of times. We chanted. Nothing happened. About 10 minutes must have passed.
“What sort of game is this; Are you crazy?” I asked. I was feeling bored now.
“Wait…just go on chanting.”
The room was getting dark now, for they had switched off the light. Suddenly the glass started moving. Her sister lit the torch whenever required. I thought N was pushing the glass, but said nothing. Later she confirmed she had thought that it was me who pushed the glass.
“Are you a good spirit?”
The glass moved to the letters to say “Y-E-S”…
She asked some questions which were answered. After some time she wanted to stop, because other people were coming to the room for some other purposes and it was difficult to concentrate.
“Why were you pushing the glass?” I asked her.
“I thought it was you” she said.
Then the revelation came to us that both of us or my son was not moving it. I was not scared, nor she, but some children got scared to know that we were not pushing it to give answers. Even if we want to push, it would be impossible for 3 people to push it so as to get the same answer. Moreover, we were just touching the upper part of the glass, not moving it at all, later on I clearly observed. When we started the next session, I clearly understood that no human being is pushing it. I was curious by now, but not scared. Suddenly I understood that real spirits were moving the glass to give intelligent answers. I know some skeptics do not believe this and think that the ‘players’ are pushing. But then why the glass does not move always when touched? How can the same answer be thought by 3 or more people who do not talk to each other?
Anyway, coming to the session. I got convinced we were communicating with real spirits who were eager to talk to us. My experiences are similar to what is there in most of these Ouija stories, but somewhat different also. Almost always I encountered only spirits of dead people who were killed either by accident or committed suicide: unnatural deaths, in short. According to Hindu theory, such spirits do not reach higher realms of existence, but hover around on Earth. Their existence is dark and painful. All this was confirmed when I asked the spirits various questions. There was no spirit of young children who died, nor there were any evil spirits. We do not have Devil or Satan and I did not encounter one. One of the first spirits we contacted was a person who died during the first or second world war (He was European). He gave his name and year of death clearly. The session was lively and only rarely the host spirit gave answers which made no sense. Sometimes some initials. Some spirits gave some initials, not full name. It seems they feel pain when we ask them the cause of their death, etc.
I was fascinated by this and conducted sessions in a few places afterwards. I conducted a few sessions at N’s home at another place, a friends place, etc. I even conducted a session at Sharjah (UAE), where I used to work. I will write here briefly about my experiences and analysis of the whole matter.
The spirit of the European man had told that he died of an accident. Then a notable spirit was that of a woman from India who died in 1976 or so. She said she had 3 children. Her name was simply given as G. She died due to a mishap which I do not remember now. She gave a lot of information which gave a lot of insight to us about the spirit world, their thoughts, etc. When we said goodbye to a session (we always did it) and started a new session and asked for “G”, she promptly came and answered our questions. She even brought other spirits in our presence and they all participated in sessions. I have now forgotten which spirit said what, but still some of the “information” they gave is vivid in my memory. I asked a spirit if he liked to converse with us and he replied yes.
“Does it give you some relief?”
“Yes”
“Do you wish if you were having a body and was sitting here with us?”
“Yes”…
I asked about various religions, prominent religious figures and I got very intelligent answers. I do not write here because it may hurt somebody’s sentiments. Moreover, I do not consider whatever is told by spirits as true. Great men and women may have a greater understanding of Truth than spirits who abide at lower levels. I do not believe they lie (I never felt that way); but their vision is limited, perhaps by the thoughts of their past life. I think though they were able to answer questions on current affairs, their answers about future were not right and must not be taken for any purpose. I remember asking a spirit “Is there a God?”
To my utter surprise, the glass moved at incredible speed, we found it hard to follow it, to “Yes” and 10 times; I got scared and told “OK, OK, we understand; please stop” and then it stopped.
However, another spirit (European) told “No” when I asked the same question to him!
A former business partner of mine had died of a traffic accident. I asked a spirit in one of our sessions to bring him. The spirit agreed and brought somebody. But I asked one or two questions and the answers he gave were wrong. I think another spirit who had the same name was brought. We said goodbye. I asked if they knew my mother (who had died a normal death). The spirit said no.
When I asked so many questions which proved the presence of the spirit beyond any doubt, I kept my hand under the table (so that nobody in our group saw my hand), counted a mantra (a sacred word or formula) thrice, closing fingers. Then I asked the board how many times I repeated the mantra, it correctly said, “Three”.
I used to take a break and say special prayers for the benefit of the spirit and later when I asked did they benefit, they always said. ” Yes”. We then started ending session saying prayers for them.
I asked a sprit “Can you see us”
“Yes”
“We want to see you; is it possible?”
“Yes”
However, we were not that keen to see it (may be a fearsome appearance and all that) and did not elaborate. I was afraid requests for such manifestations might lead to complications and did not persist. I also told the teenagers not to “play” often.
Sometimes language formed a barrier. For example, spirits who cannot read English alphabet could not be contacted; In UAE when I tried to “play” the Ouija Board, I found it very difficult. There was no movement for half an hour. We repeated a number of times without any success. I was in a friend’s home where we made an Ouija board and tried our luck. I had told him about my experiences and he and his family (wife and 2 girls) were curious to experiment. We were about to give up; a spirit came but we found the conversation was not at all progressing. The glass hardly moved. I came to know that spirits with the knowledge of written English may not be present and we knew very little Arabic. This was confirmed. With a lot of patience we could get a spirit who knew English. In one the sessions there, my friend P and his guest about whom I knew nothing was also present. When the latter asked how many children he had, the spirit answered correctly and to the surprise of all, the name of his daughter (which of course, I had no knowledge; His daughter was elsewhere) was also given. That person had no belief in the board but changed his opinion seeing this.
N wanted to conduct a session at her home and wanted me to be present. We always started by a prayer to God in which our own protection and some relief to spirits was the theme. Her father did not believe the board and was thinking that it was all our imagination. I asked him to join us. He was surprised to feel the movement of the glass without any effort from us and got convinced. They asked various questions which were answered to their satisfaction. N being a teen was interested to know when she will be married. I must mention that the prediction by a spirit about the marriages of both the sisters proved true later. N was married later at the age of 20, as predicted. Some predictions about my career were also proved true later, though some were not true. I remember when N asked about her death, the board refused to answer. I told her not to ask such questions. Also I asked her not to ask too philosophical questions.
In short, I experienced like talking with a friend with the level of our own knowledge and exposure. They were a little better off than us in knowing immediate occurrences and perhaps knowing our minds. I found their current existence to be pathetic and they got some relief by talking to us. Our sincere prayers helped them a little. I always respect them as our fellow being s and never had any occasion to fear. I never felt any threat from them. No other entity than souls of unnatural death contacted us. It will require years of meditation and prayers to contact higher spirits or God and it won’t be that easy. But these spirits are like our friends who come as soon as we call them. Their vision is better than ours, but less than that of heavenly entities. I remember a spirit told us about a God-person of India: The person has divine qualities, but cannot claim anything more than that…
I would never recommend the Ouija Board to anyone, for it may lead to disaster. Children should not use it. The “information” the boards give may not be true, and should not be relied upon. From all this, it can be assumed that it is a waste of time. The only possible use is the conviction we get of the presence of spirits and the existence after death. I might have asked exact where-abouts of some spirits (like G) and tried to verify facts by visiting the place of their life. But at that time, I didn’t think that way. I am now willing to do that, but it is hard to find 2 or 3 partners for this job!

- Many, many years ago, three friends and I rode our horses to an abandoned house and set up a Ouija board. We did not have a planchette so we used an old glass. We were sitting around on the floor with our fingers on the glass and summoning my grandfather when the glass started moving. We all removed our fingers and accused each other of moving the glass. No-one admitted to it so we tried again. The glass started moving again and again we removed our fingers. We were sitting there watching the board when the glass lifted about a foot off the floor. One of the girls reached for the glass and as she did so, it exploded. Glass went everywhere, how no-one was cut badly is beyond me. Suffice it to say, we took off out of there in a hurry. The horses were absolutely terrified and I had gotten onto my horse when I realised that I had left a very good riding crop in the house. I was in absolute tears going back into that house to retrieve the crop. My mother was furious when I told her what had happened and cautioned me, don't ever mess around with the spirit world. It was just meant to be a bit of fun but that was the sort of stuff that movies like paranormal are based on. Mess with spirits at your own peril. I have shared this story with my kids and hope they share it with their kids when the time comes. I would think this all crap if I was reading it, but I was there and I know what happened. To my grandfather, again, I am sorry. If that was a lesson you were sharing, I learnt it!

- So we had this older board. We started playing with it on the weekends. Of course someone always had to pull the lens so I never could enjoy the game. So I waited to play until I was alone in the house. So I went to the attic which was a bedroom. I opened the board and placed the lens on... The lens went to hello by itself. I chuckled thinking it was just from me moving. So I began asking questions no movement. I got this clever Idea... Grab a cup of water...... The lens was back at hello when I returned. I figured that I left it there. ((As I'm writing this my fiances phones messing up)) I had this h20 inside the circle. I placed my hand on the lens and it began spelling this name. I let go. It began moving by itself. I grab this board and the lens went flying into the wall shaddering. I threw the board in the garbage can as I was walking up to the house my family returned. They said i was so pale . We went inside. The lens was like brand new and the board back. So I ripped it up and took it back out. there was this feeling I couldn't pass. So I went in again. There it was. I asked my foster sister if it was ok to burn it to see what happens after I tell her the story.. of course showed didn't believe me. She told me I money for the board. So we went outside started the fire and placed it in ... We saw the fire turn blue then like this yellow buttterfly like creature leave the fire. Now days I don't play around with the boards silly light as the feather Mary candy man .. so I have become very sensitive and see stuff all the time . Now that I'm older I realise it could have been an adrenaline rush.. but how do u explain these events. I could write u more stories but my phone is not acting right now that I have written out the story.. sceptic s beware until something happens to u u will never believe that things beyond Ur nose do exsist.

- My mom had told me several times of the one experience she had as a teenager playing the ouija board with her best friend Joan. She told me that for the most part they asked basic questions like "what's your name," etc. But my mom decided to ask it something more serious that to this day she wishes she hadn't: "how will I die?" The board pointed to I, then N. Then A. She thought it was going to spell "In Accident." But then it went to G then O, over to N then Y. It spelled "In Agony."
40 years later she had a reunion with her friend Joan and asked her about that time and asked if she had played a trick on my mom and had moved the planchette. Joan said absolutely not. I was there when she assured mom of this and I know she was telling the truth.
When my mom was in her 30's she suffered from very bad depression. She was hearing voices and thought they were telling her to kill herself. She's ok today, but she thinks that the power of the Ouija board got a hold of her that day. I guess it's possible she subconsciously chose the words "in agony," but really, that actually seems less likely to me than something outside of herself. My mom just doesn't talk like that, and certainly not at 13 years old. All these years she often thinks about what the ouija board meant by "in agony" and she wonders what death has in store for her. Don't mess around with it. Or if you do, keep the questions to small talk.

- My cousin and myself went into her neighboring duplex after no one else lived there anymore. there sat a Ouija board- seemingly calling for her. She passed it more than 1 time (for whatever reason) while gazing over someone elses life. (of course we looked but didn't take- especially not knowing the situation of previous tennant completely) Then we decided we would "borrow" the board- just to see what the big deal was. Big Mistake! We fell in love with the new relationships we could find! The scariest was when I found that she had been "playing" by herself! She started seeing wierd shadows and figures.... and when she told me I was scared for her because of the stories of "urban legands" I've heard about how addicting this could be- and DANGEROUS! So while we were together on the board I wanted to put the fear into her- we asked who we contacted after a few ?s FICE- it replied- though I was going to move it myself and say something like Killer or Death- I was thinking "impure thoughts" trying to control what came through the board- (so she would be so scared she wouldn't ATLEAST do this alone anymore) to my mistake. Her cat was soon after, thrown from the 2nd story landing into the TOP of the stairway then hit the last step. Soon after, I decided to see why I was unable to control; a spitit board, her perception, us playing, our addiction, and who FICE WAS!! I made my own- in a town over 100 yrs old in houses that were from the original town- trying to make contact with "The perfume Lady" who Everyone in my family had experienced. Never happened, never made contact w/ people that I had while with my family- NEVER GOT ANYONE BUT FICE- and Fice posing to be someone else, and at times admitting it! You can not control this "game" with your mind- or even your sub-concious- I still long to play- only by myself- but I DO know that should be the only way NOT to use this board.

- I just wanted to tell my Story about the one and only time I played with a ouija board....I'm 34 now and tho happened when I was 18. I was dating a guy and me and my friend Jaime went over to his house to pick him up...we waited in his room while he took a shower and found a ouija board under his bed..we started to play and I thought she was moving it and she thought I was but when my boyfriend walked into the room the thing in the middle (sorry don't know what it's called) started doing figure eights over and over to the point we couldn't keep our fingers on it any longer...my boyfriend got mad that we even had it out and he later confided in me that he could make it move without touching it??? I don't know about that but I know what happened when he walked in the room...that is something I'll never forget...

- I have always been fascinated in the after life and the possibility of talking to someone who is no longer in this dimension.
One of my good friends constantly uses ouiga boards. She has several that she uses almost every night. So one night a couple of us decided to stay at her house, have a few drinks and see if this ouiga board business actually works.
To build a stronger spiritual energy we first sat outside for a while exchanging stories and trying to build more serious and in depth conversations in relation to ghosts, spirits etc.
When my friend said we should go inside I started freaking out and my mind started playing tricks on me. We sat in a small cupboard of hers first with some candles, a mirror and the board. We wrapped ourselves up in blankets to prevent getting cold and tried to see if anyone would talk to us. Nothing happened.
So then we moved out into the loungeroom and created a similar atmosphere. By this point I was very skeptical about the whole thing and just wanted to continue drinking, I honestly couldn't be bothered.
We tried getting in contact with someone but after asking if anyone was there and getting a reply of 'yes' they would then move straight to 'goodbye'
On our final try we managed to make contact. It started off slow but in result of this we contacted a good spirit. An 18 year old Austrian boy who had been deceased for a year and passed from natural causes.
We asked him if he was happy where he was and he said yes. He also said that he wasn't happy being alive. He then said that he wished he was there drinking with us.
One of my friends fell asleep whilst using the board with us as it was getting very late. (I think we ended up talking for around 5 hours)
We asked the spirit if he saw what happened and he said yes and then laughed for a while.
Towards the end of the conversation, we asked if he needed to talk to anyone in particular sitting down with us and he spelled out my name. I wasn't even touching the cursor. My fingers were on the board.
He then said that it's not bad, he is just trying to help. He then spelled out the initials AJ. My friends asked if I knew anyone with those initials and I said yes, my cousins girlfriend Amy J****** whom I'd never mentioned to anyone before.
He said I should talk to her because she is sad about something and that it will cheer her up.
This made me happy and also made me realise that there might just be an afterlife.
Finally the spirit said that he wanted to talk to my other friend Charlotte and that her friend whom had passed around a month ago would like to talk to her and that he is passing messages for this boy. She started crying and he told her to 'stop crying silly' and that everything's okay. He also called her a vegan stormtrooper. She asked about a jacket of his and he said it was at a certain person's house.
After talking for a while he said to wipe away those tears and that he is always going to be with her. He then said that we should all go outside for a smoke.
We said goodbye and went outside.
A lot more things were said but afterwards I had such a positive outlook towards all of this and felt incredibly empowered. I would love to do that again.

- I've had a bad experience lastnight on a new years party.. at 3:33am or "devils time" when the portal to the spirit world opens, we decided to use this ouija board.. The board is no good.. the penchette Lifted on its own, we asked the spirit to give a physical sign it was there, the candles went out, the room got cold. We asked if it was a demon, it said yes. We asked if it wanted to talk, it said yes. We asked who it would like to talk to. and it spelled J-O-N. As in me.. we asked what it wanted and it spelled out I-W-A-N-T-U , at that moment tyler said he swears he saw my eyes roll into the back of my head, but i don't remember it. i just remember me zoning out feeling dizzy and weak, listen guys.. this board is nothing to mess with. Justin says we might've angered it cause we asked, "Do you believe in Jesus Christ, the son of the only living god, The one with the power of the holy spirit came to save mankind from evil?" when that happened we all got chills.. We could hear whispers and feel the air stirring.. we got an uneasy feeling.. like somehting was not trying to harm you but.. be in you ? it's hard to explain. i'm scared out of my mind. NEVER MESS WITH OUIJA BOARDS PEOPLE.

- NOT ALL OUIJAS ARE BAD. I WOULD NEVER FORGET THIS STORY AS LONG AS I LIVE. PLEASE READ ITS COMPLETELY WORTH IT!!!!!!
this is a true story. i wouldnt lie about anything i write. here goess.
me and my best friend alex were in my basement playing fruit ninja on my new kinect for xbox. bot him and i were sitting on couches completely out of view for the camera. we were getting tired and decided to talk. all of the sudden both of our throats felt tight and all the sudden the same black clouds as when youre visible to kinect appreared on the screen. we hadnt moved. the figure kept trying to quit the game. then the kinect started to calibrate all on its own. then when we waked by it it wouldnt register that we were even there. then the black smoke appeared again on the screen. we shut it off and decided to go upstairs and use my ouija board to contact whatever was haunting my basement.
the spirits force was extremely strong. i never in my life saw a ouija board move that fast and ive used mine penty of times. we asked her name and she said it was VALEY short for VALARIE and she stated that she had died at age 95 on JULY 7 2010 near my area. she said she was in HYS which is their sort of purgatory. it has its own language filled with acronyms we would understand automatically when we died. she also said that to pass over into wherever after limbo you had to do a certain task good or bad o be let go. she said you had TWO YEARS FROM THE DAY YOU DIED to complete this task. she said her task was to kill someone W. i dont know if thats a first initial or a ast. but she did say that HE WAS A RANDOM PERSON WHO SHE DIDNT KNOW. she also said she had been following me around my house because she envied my friendship with alex. she said she had a friend like that who was with her in limbo currently. we never found oout exactly how she died. but i know that nobody killed her and she didnt have a disease of any kind. my assumption is that she either fell or had a stoke r possibly died in her sleep. she said she was never married and had no children but she did have a long term boyfriend. {how cute haha} we got to a very deep level with her and asked her if angels and demons really exist and she said yes. she also said that an angel was present when my grandmother died. the angel made itself present to myself and my stepmother in the hospital when my gandmothers heart monitor started going crazy and nobody saw it but us. we then asked her if everyones belief of heavent hell or whatever is real. {for example your a buddist and budah is up there but god and shiva also are you just cant see them if you dont believe in them} she responded with YES BECAUSE THAT WAY ITS FAIR. whch is completely understandable. by belief personally is in personal heavens and she said it existed if i beieved in it. i thought that was absolutly amazing because that way everyone is happy. she said she was fully italian which i thought was adorable. she told me that her in limbo deadline is july 7 2012 so she wouldnt be able to talk to us after that date. she saked if me and my friend alex could contact her weekly. she then spelled out BECAUSE YOURE GREAT PEOPLE. she then spelled out LOVE EYE i asked her if she meant she loved my eyes and she said yes. because she was a sweetheart and such a nice sweet little old lady my friend alex and i both were just like awww we love you she then spelled out LOVE TOO. we asked her to pointed out where she was sitting near us she spelled out DOOR and pointed towards it. then both me and my friend got freezing for about five seconds we asked her if that was her touching us she said yes. her spirit then started to fade. and we asked how many questions we had tim for left and she said 6. i aasked when my next relationship would be she said SOON. yes to less than six months from now. she also said that his name would being with a K and that it would last 7 MONTHS however she spelled months all funny something like MYKIWLA i asked her is that was HYS anguage she said yes. i really want to learn more about this HYS but she said she couldnt tell me. she told me BE SURE TO CHAT SOON i told her i would and she speled out LOL and we said goodbye. it was the sweetest conversation ie ever had with a spirit. she had also said she had been following me arund because she became attached to how sweet of a person i was which i thought was great.
anyway i will be talking to VALEY at least once a week untill she is relased from limbo. this is extremely true. if she comes back the next time i talk to her i will let you know and tell you what she says!!! thank you for reading!!!

- That's pretty insane ! I believe your story (:
But be careful don't open the doors too much because something might happen to the spirit and another may enter, if you are too open you are allowing the soul to enter your being. Add me on facebook I want to know more about this.
I'm from California by the way.

- I did it with my best friend... we read the rules ( so we don't upset the spirit) and we were mentally preparing ourselves for like 2 days...because we knew what the consequences could of been. Anyways, first we were sitting on my bunk bed with lights on and started calling....nothing appeared so i though its all bs.. then we decided to sit on the floor properly with a candle only... We asked for a good spirit only... The coin started moving, and I was obviously not buying it...telling my friend to quit messing around... then I asked personal question which my friend wouldn't know...it answered it correctly...the ghost was sooo lovely =) her name was like Chuza from Cyprus... 300 years old... It was very calm.. i wasn't scared...though two kids came in WHILE we were doing it...they said their head started to hurt... and the ghost willingly said bye bye :) after..though...the coin i played with... It fell from my hands...and rolled ALL the way to that spot where ouija was...and the books from the shelf fell where the ouija was... IDK why..maybe a coincidence .... but I am doing it again! ( make sure to ask for a good spiriT not spirits... only..) u might say spirits and there will be 20!! takes your energy hardcore...

- very true, messing with supernatural forces is not very often a good idea though, wether or not they are good because opening the door for one leaves it open for all..several friends and i became paranormal investigators because we all felt a deep spiritualistic sence..i see ghosts(spirits, demons)..they feel them and communicate with them, anyway i was at church the other day and my pastor out of nowhere started freaking out and called me to the altar and began asking me questions about recent activities, curiously i asked why, he said he felt a dark and powerful presence i told him i had been at a place where the entire town beleives is haunted(for more then 150 years people were hung and murdered in this place) more then 1000 people met their demise in this place(alot of them black im from a part of missouri were slavery wasnt outlawed) well after the whole pastor incedent we went back to "the tressles", there was 3 of us, chase tfade and myself, well tfade is one of those people who has no real sense of fear even around spirits he took off in a dead sprint and we knew something was really wrong. we finally made it out of there and none of us felt anything. chase looked at me and saw bloody clawmarks on my neck all of us had the same marks on our bodys somewhere. chase on his chest, tfade on his legs..no matter what you think your dealing with never trust spirits and proceed with caution..

- After school on Wednesdays, I have a singing class with a few other girls. The class is in a room above the school gym, and there are two staircases that go down to the gym. We are only supposed to use one of the staircases, so there is a lockable door on the other one. Me and my friend Sydney and Chloe wanted to do a Ouija board, but we go to Catholic school so Ouija boards or anything else involving spirits are not allowed, so we locked ourselves on the un-used staircase.
We turned off the lights, and my friends Sydney and Chloe did the Ouija board. I was way too scared to do the board, so I sat and watched next to them. Sydney asked about her boyfriend and other things. We asked why she was dead, she said because she killed so many people, that she had to be killed herself. Then I said 'Ask who it is' so they did. The spirit went to the letter 'K' then to goodbye as soon as this was asked. We all just looked at each other, and Sydney told me to go turn on the lights.
I turned on the lights and I noticed a sticker on the wall, and I was sitting there for at least a minute reading it over and over again. It said 'Kimberly ___. ___ Mental Institution'. (I don't remember the girl's last name/institution name). Chloe saw me looking at it so she came over and brought Sydney. We were all shocked about the sticker, then another girl yelled through the door that it is time to go, someone has private lessons!
We were all talking on the phone that night. Chloe and Sydney already googled her name and it said 'Sorry, No Results Available'. I googled it, it showed up that she killed her boyfriends and husbands and was locked up in an institution. I told them, and they thought that I could look it up because I wasn't really participating in the board.
Two weeks later, we'd occasionally bring it up to some people, telling about how scared we were and all that... But Sydney came up to me and Chloe and said I went downstairs last night, because I couldn't sleep and the TV was left on. As I got my glass of water I was watching the show. It was called 'Women Who Kill' and Kim, the spirit, was on it. The episode was from 1990's. We were freaked out, but thought that was the last of everything.
Another week or so passed, and Sydney was getting ready in the school bathroom to cheer for a basketball game. Me and Chloe were in the bathroom talking to her when Chloe said okay you guys last night I got half of a text I think, like I was soo freaked I deleted it, but anyways It was like, 'Hi , blah blah blah stuff about her killing people' but it cut off in the middle of a sentence. Sydney said that's weird because I got a text last night from an unknown number and it said 'something about kim killing people blah blah... XOXO Kimmy!' The sentence on Chloe's phone was completed in Sydney's message. Chloe said the area code for the number was the same, also.
Ouija boards are fun, but scary. Careful about who your messing with.

- creepy stories and I remember back in middle school when everyone was obsessed with playing the ouija board at our school. a friend of mine had two older sisters that played the ouija board religiously and would be "possessed" by the spirit that came to communicate with them. one halloween night (this was back in 1991), we hung out at this friend's house and a bunch of us wanted to play with the board (it was a well used, worn out board). We were hanging out by the garage, under the mango tree where there was a picnic table/bench. We were talking and laughing about something and I was the one sitting next to the ouija board, no one else was behind me and I felt someone nudge my upper arm, almost like a grasp or pinch and I looked behind me and saw no one there. I did see that the ouija board was right there waiting...to make matters worse I said aloud, "who pinched me?" My friends looked confused and I said someone grabbed my upper arm...of course everyone could see the ouija board right behind me on the table and they started screaming. Needless to say we never used the board that night since all of us were freaked out, especially me.

- Those who use a message board to speak to the unseen need to be very careful. Portals can be opened to many different level of the unknown. Be sure of your intentions and that they are of the pure. Surround your self in the white light and love & protection of God and ask only the spirits of love and light come forth.. Create a filter so to speak. Always ask for the white light of love to surround you when you feel you need it. I do it before i get out of bed and many times threw out the day and diffidently before bed at night. Thanks for these great stories. It wonderful reading these stories love n light to all...

- [starts with me (k****), b*****, c**** and o***** playing using a voice recorder –names protected - )
Us: are you male?
Board: yes
Us: What’s your name?
Board: Scott
Us: is someone holding you back from talking to us? [in a previous session, the board had said that it couldn’t talk to us, and that “he” was stopping him]
Board: [goes to goodbye]
[We tried to stop it, and after pushing hard, got it to the middle. Then it flew to goodbye]
Us: is Scott still with us?
Board: yes
Us: how old are you?
Board: 43687
Us: what year did you die?
Board: before the beginning
Us: beginning of what?
Board: time
Us: if you’re so old, are you very powerful?
[Board shoots to goodbye]
Us: can you show yourself to us?
Board: make me
Us: you talk tough, but I think you’re really too weak to do anything-
[Board cuts me off]
Board: shut up
Us: make me
Board: I will
Us: well you’re not making me shut up so why don’t you do something?
[Shoots to goodbye]
Us: do you need a hug
Board: [goes 1234567890 and then goes backwards]
Us: did o*****’s question offend you?
Board: [goes to 666 repeatedly]
Us: why do you keep doing that?
Board: [666 repeatedly]
Us: say something else (and then some “choice words” to provoke it)
Board: one will die
Us: who’s going to die?
Board: [originally we thought it was going to “o”, but then realized it was pointing at me.]
Us: am I going to die?
Board: yes
Us: when?
Board: tonight
Us: what are you going to do to me?
Board: 666
Board: [went to something as we were talking but we didn’t catch it]
Us: wait, repeat what you just said
Board: you can stop it
Us: what can I stop?
Board: 666
Us: does 666 mean hell?
Board: 666 [repeatedly]
[Board goes to goodbye]
Board (after new session): f
[planchette moves from corner to corner rapidly]
[We are talking before new session]
Board: one must lie on the bed
Us: who?
Board: [starts pointing towards me, and front of planchette goes up, then turns and points to b*****]
Board: replace [points at me]
Us: are you saying that I need to lie on the bed now?
Board: no
Us: are you saying b***** needs to lie on the bed to replace me?
Board: yes
Board: she will die
Us: which one?
Board: [points to b*****]
Board: [moves about board]
Us: can she lie on the bed now?
Board: let her lay there and continue
Us: and continue what?
Board: without her
[B***** lays on bed]
[Nothing happens and c**** takes a pee breaks]
[While c**** is in the restroom, b***** comes back]
Before we say anything, board: get back on the bed now [says now repeatedly and fast]
[B****** runs back onto bed & c**** comes back]
[Nothing happens while b***** is on the bed]
[After a long time b***** comes back again and nothing happens for a long time]
Board: b***** bed on
Us: is this still Scott?
Us: do you want b***** back on the bed?
Board: yes
Us: what happens if she doesn’t get on the bed?
Us: are you trying to possess b*****?
Board: no
Us: point to the person who is going to die tonight
Board: [goes through numbers, then points at b***** and me, then goes to 3]
Us: are 3 people going to die tonight?
Board: no
Us: how many people will die?
Board: 9
Us: why don’t you scratch one of us?
Board: [points to me]
Us: are you capable of scratching a person right now?
Board: I want her on the bed
Us: it’s not going to happen until you do something
Board: now
[o***** insults it and the planchette points to him and gets as close as the board will allow. Then it starts slowly backing up]
Us: if you want b***** on the bed, you have to scratch o***** now
Board: k**** shut up
Board: 666
Board: bed now
Us: if I get on the bed will anything happen?
Board: b*****
Board: b***** remember last time?
Us: what happened last time?
Board: what you’re here for
Us: what is she here for?
Board: don’t act dumb
Us: why don’t you tell us what she’s here for?
Board: o***** and c**** need to leave
Board: now
Us: who needs to leave? C**** and o*****?
Board: yes
Us: can they just leave the room? If they leave will you tell us why?
Board: bed
Us: do you want them on the bed?
Board: no
Board: leave
Us: why? Just o***** and c****?
Board: yes
Us: why do you want them to leave?
Board: give me 2 minutes
Us: give you two minutes to do what?
Board: explain
Us: so they have to leave for you to explain?
Board: yes
Us: if they leave the room, will you tell us?
Board: yes
[they leave the room]
Us: okay you have two minutes. Explain
Board: b***** [candle light starts to fade for first time that night] needs to get on the bed
Us: why?
Board: to replace
Us: to replace me?
Board: yes
Us: what does that mean? Replace my soul, my body…?
Board: eyes
Us: are you trying to say b***** needs to replace my eyes?
Board: yes
Us: why would she need to do that?
Board: to help
Us: to help what?
[Board points to me]
Us: make the light bright [it appears to get brighter]
Us: if you blow it out, we’ll leave you alone [planchette moves over to candle and touches it and the flame gets dimmer, and starts pushing it, almost tipping it over]
Us: blow it out now or we’ll never believe you
[Board starts moving back and hitting the candle quickly, almost as if it’s trying to knock it over]
[we let them back in and explain what happened]
The rest was not documented but when we asked for it to try knocking over the candle again for us, it did. Then we wrapped up the night.

- I do not have the time to share how many weird experiences we have heard, from friends who have dabbled with Ouija boards. One of my daughters had a horrifying experience, when she was a teenager, toying around with one at a friend's house. An older woman I know tried to destroy an old wooden one that her daughter had - she could not get it to burn, despite her valiant efforts.
I know that there are demonic presences afoot, and staying close to your Maker is the best path - always. Excellent Lens, congratulations on a job superbly done!

- I was on a ouija board last night with my friend and girlfriend we played from 9 pm to 3 am in the morning, and absolutely nothing happened we had all determined that it was crap when we wanted to try one last time expecting nothing to happen, we asked if there were any kind spirits around and it immediately shot to no, we asked who we were talking to and it said demon rehm. It then began saying all sorts of horrible things to my girlfriend and I still thought it was all a lie and when my girl friend took her hand off and asked it her address which only she knew and it answered correctly...we asked it why it wanted her and it went to the letters FU and went to the 0 and started counting down backwords...and then it was gone...now I see its shadows everywhere and don't know what to do!!

- Hi what I'm about to tell you is the truth yesterday was the first day I have ever used the board it was a crazy exsperience and I must say I have always been scared of the board I've heard nothing but bad things about it so I had always told myself that I would try one out but I had ben doing abunc of research on them yesterday and decided why not so I made one I took a bunch of cardboard and taped it together to make a board and wrote everything that was needed on it yes,no numbers 1-9 and a-z made a small black pointer and wrote down the protection spell for it and the lords prayer which I recite before every calling I strongly recommend if your going to use the board for the first time use the protection spell and the lords prayer its what keeps me and my friends that play with me safe now back to my story we putthe board together and placed the pointer in the middle lit a white candle and recited the two prays me and my girlfriend then asked is anyone here with us no anwser no movement nothing for about 5mins the pointer moved to yes I then asked the questions you should ask before anything else I asked are you a good spirit? It moved to yes! I asked so your not here to hurt me or my friend? It went to no! I asked are you in heaven it went to yes again! I then asked will you spell your name out for me it went to yes again so I said okay and go ahead it spelledout the name mary my friend reacted funny and then asked it if it was her mother it went to yes she started crying this is how I know she didn't do it herself and I know damn well I wasent moving it so at this point I believed it I then asked a questions that noone could know the anwser to I asked if I had received a message from this guy I've been talking to on my email she said yes I took my hands from the board andgot online to check I had damn we'll received a message from him its the crazyist thing I had no idea and noone knewif I got a message from him it gave me dates on stuff that is to happen in mine and my friends urture I am waiting to find out if she was telling the truth we told her we had to go I was overwehelmed and had to get off we said goodbye and got off for a couple of hours after a while I had more to ask and so did my friend so we opened it again said the two prays and asked if anyone was there it took less time this time but it moved to yes I asked is this mary again it said no I said are you a good spirit it said yes I asked so your not here to hurt us right it said no I said can you spell out your name for us it gave us a weird name I don't want to put it on here but its an unusaual name I asked how old are you she said 191 I said okay and my friend asked do I know you it said yes she said are you a female it said yes so we now knew we were talking to a woman spirit she then asked did I know you in person it said no so she asked if it was smeone who watches over her and it said yes that it had watched over her mother as well and that she would protect us so we asked a bunch of. questions an got anwsers to all of them anwsers we are waiting to see if they are true or not but everything she had told us has turned out to be true so far besides the questions about our furture which we must wait ofcourse s I'm waiting but be careful today we talked to her again caue she said she will be the main one that talks to us she was moving the courser all over the table so I said is everything okay she said no so automaticlly I said is somewhere else there with you she said it was my dead grandpa and I asked is it okay for me to talk to him she said no I said its not really my grandpa is it she said no I said is it trying to get to me she said yes I said is it bad she said yes and I asked should we go she said yes so before I said bye we asked if we were okay to get on it again tonight she said no so we said goodbye and I won't get on it again tonight somthing was trying to get me from it I can't tell you what but it was and the women was protecting me the only reason were safe is because of the two prays we say before we start use them if your going to use the board if not bad things could happen the woman we talked to said that were safe because of the prayers but somthing still almost got in but she warned us to leave before it could hppen again because of our prayers I'm not scared but I can't discribe how weird I felt when she told me that stuff I will use it again tomorrow though cause I know were safe and can be warned before the bad can come through but that was the first scary exsprience I've had and I've been useing it a lot the last two days it is amazing and all of that but seriously don't use it without the prayers please I had min and somthing still almost got through to me and it was somthing evil I know it I could feel it now take into careful thought bad things can happen from the board questions she anwsered to me so believe it do not ask bad questions do not ask mean questions and do not I repeat do not ask to see whoever it is your talking to don't do it stay with positive questions and stay posiitve and happy while playing with it so you'll be safe if you post on here after me I will glady anwser any questions and send you the two prayers if you would like or post them whatever yu would like the board will shock you its real and evrything but it absoulutly can be bad so be careful and remember what I told you about what to do and goodluck its awesome have fun :)

- a couple nights ago i used a ouija board for the first time. i was admittedly a little nervous but then it just took a turn i never expected. my boyfriends mom and brother decided to get out there ouija board because his mom is big on the paranormal stuff and spirits. well they were using the glow in the dark board so of course the lights were off and im terrified of the dark. i curled up with my bf to listen to his mom and brother, they asked if anyone was there it obviously said yes. Then it randomly went to the number nine. at first i didnt hear his brother say nine so i waited. then he said "can you tell us what the number nine means?" i instantly told my bf that i felt like the number nine was directed towards me. so he asked if i wanted to go to the table with him. i said sure being a little leary of it. so we went and sat. his brother directed us to put our hands on the cursor so we did. for some odd reason it wouldn't do anything with his mom in the room, which she remembered had happened a previous time as well so she left and went into her room. (the reason i felt the 9 was directed at me is because my grandpa, who was a father figure to me more than my own and was closer to me more than anyone passed away 9 years ago of a heart attack) then once again his brother asked what the nine meant. it spelled out time. (my boyfriend only knew the name of my grandpa and his brother knew nothing so i knew they weren't pushing or anything, n i barely wanted to touch it so i had the slightest touch on it) then we asked what it may mean. it spelled out me, which sent a strong vibe through my mind and body. i just knew it had to be him. his brother asked who me was. it did nothing. he asked again and it went to random letters as if it were confused. so he asked a last time and it spelled out R-O-N. which was my grandfathers name. i didn't know what to do so i sat there thinking there is no way this could be happening. then his brother asked if maybe it was someone else talking for him and it spelled me again so we knew it was him.i had tears trickling down my face as his brother asked if my grandpa would like to say anything to me. He told me he loved me. i burst even more into tears being sure to leave a single hand on the cursor so he wouldn't leave. he told me not to cry but of course i could do nothing But cry. i couldn't say a thing which makes me feel so stupid and angry about now. my boyfriend took me and comforted me as i wept for nearly an hour. all the things the board said were acurrate. i now truly believe in the spirit of the ouija board.
last night we decided to try the board with me, my bf and one of our friends. so we set up candles in the garage and sat in a semi circle with the board on my bf's lap. (there was stand with a tv on it in front of us) our friend and i put only our hands on the cursor. we asked if there was a spirit there who would like to talk. (turns out there were 2) we asked who it may be and it spelled out our friends name. he asked questions to find out that it was his grandparents who had died a few years back that he hadn't talked to in a very long time. the ouija board is powerful. believe in it.

- Ouija Boards are nothing to PLAY with. A decade ago 6 Navy seamen play the game on a ship and the Ouija Board predicted Earthquakes, Fires and other natural disasters that came to be as foretold.
The 2004 Tsunami that devastated Thailand and kill people as for away as Kenya, Africa is one of the most powerfull Tsunami in modern history. When ask the number of submarines lost during this disaster there is no anwser!

- I played with an ouija board last night with 2 of my friends, but then later on, around 3 AM, I played it by myself. I wasn't scared because I had confidence that I was in control of myself and the spirits. After I was done, I went outside for a cigarette, on my patio facing my large sliding glass door that allowed us to look into the kitchen. Since Halloween is coming, my mother has hung little paper ghost decorations from the kitchen ceiling; 6 above the island, and 4 above the table. I looked and noticed that the 4 ghosts above the table were swinging back and forth quite strongly. It was as if there was a breeze in the house. I looked and the 6 ghosts over the island WERE NOT MOVING. This did not make sense. There was no explanation. The door I had gone out was very far from the 4 ghosts so it cant have been shook in the breeze. Once I came inside the ghosts stopped moving.
I stared to play ouija again. This time the spirit came to me quicker. I asked it if it was the same spirit was before. YES. I asked if it was the one who moved the ghosts. YES. Then the ghost quickly said goodbye, so fast that I barely caught up with it. Then I went to see my guinea pig, and she was chattering her teeth extremely fast, looking around the room anxiously. In the whole time I've had her shes never chattered like that. From then on, I've noticed what looks like a candle flickering in the corner of my eye, but nothing is there.
I still want to play again tho :>

- Did anything else happen playing it the third time Jen? you are very bold to play the ouija by yourself, but then again it's a good thing you are not that scared. Because that is what it wants you to be. You have to be strong and pray every time before you play that thing! You don't want it to get to you making you crazy then going suicidal.. :( please just leave it alone. If you play with it, then have Jesus music on & pray before you enter it. Evil fears anything that have to do with god!

- I love ouija boards, but actually in my country they're illegal. Apparently it was because too many incidents like the ones in these stories were happening because of ouija boards, so they had to be outlawed.

- dont these things arnt jokes they are real
this is a story i recently found out aboyt my sister and its very upsetting
2, 2, 20, 22, 2, 38
This is my lottery number.
Each number represents an answer to my most intelligent or foolish questions.
The first 2 is the number of weeks until K-E-I-T-H asked me out when I was in 8th grade.
The second 2 is the number of months we would date.
The third 2 (10) is the age I would meet the man I would marry L-O-G-A-N.
The fourth 2 (11) is the age I would have our son.
The fifth 2 is the number of children I will inevitably conceive.
The last of these is the number 38, the age I will die in a car accident.
In the year 2004 four young girls sat in a room with four walls. They sat on the four sides of the bed, around the four edges of the board. Six hands held the planchette eagerly while two arms were folded in disgust. Ouija (wee-gee) boards are sold as toys, it is my opinion the maturity level required to use these devices far surpasses that of an adolescent, these are not play things. Regardless of my opinion, three girls sat enjoying a seemingly innocent game asking seemingly friendly spirits questions about their futures, pasts, and presents.
I don’t remember exactly what was said, or how I evolved from spectator to participator. At any rate, in spite of my gut feeling warning me against it and the negative energy I sensed surrounding the situation, I became a victim of curiosity and placed my hands on the planchette. My friend Tiffany, owner of the Ouija board asked “how many spirits are with us in the room?” The planchette glided over to the number one. “What is your name?” The planchette began to steadily drift to the letters I-R-R-E-L-E-V-A-N-T. We both giggled slightly and seemed understood our mutual thought “smartass.” We asked the nature of the entity and the planchette drifted to the letters D-E-M-O-N. I can remember Tiffany started to tease me “ooh a demon wants to talk to you…” I dismissed her; it was obvious someone was moving the planchette just trying to scare me.
Highly skeptical, almost defiantly, I asked it a question I was certain none of the girls could possibly know the answer “What is the name of the boy that I like?” I am such a skilled liar, it is difficult for people to read me, there’s no way they’d ever guess this, I’ll disprove everything. However, the planchette responded correctly as it drifted to the letters K-E-I-T-H. Hmm a lucky guess I assumed, at any rate, I continued to ask questions.
“Is Keith going to ask me out?”
Y-E-S
“When?”
2-W-E-E-K-S
“How long are we going to date?”
2 M-O-N-T-H-S.
I liked that answer, so I proceeded to ask more probing questions about my future.
“What is the name of the boy I am going to marry?”
L-O-G-A-N
I thought that was cute, like Wolverine.
“How old will I be when I meet him?”
2-0
“Will we love each other forever?”
Y-E-S
“Will we have any kids?”
2
“How old will I be when I have the first one?”
2-2
“Will I have a boy and a girl?”
Y-E-S
Those were all very exciting answers for me, I had always hoped I would be lucky enough to find my true love early in life, and I had always hoped to have two children both a boy and a girl. I was feeling quite pleased at the moment, however, the next questions were foolish and rash. I suppose I deserve to be disappointed for having the audacity to ask.
“How old will I be when I die?”
3-8
“Awe wait what the fuck?! Yeah yeah that’s bullshit.. No way.. Well how am I going to die?”
C-A-R A-C-C-I-D-E-N-T
I had enough of this game at this point, but whatever, it’s not like it’s real or anything..
That’s what I told myself.
Two weeks from that Friday at school my crush Keith came up to me at lunch and asked me out in that awkward junior high way in front of our friends “you wanna be my girlfriend?” daww..
Two months from that Friday I was surprised to discover I was moving to Katy, and we both knew an 8th grade walk around smooch and hold hands relationship could not with stand any distance greater than the green belt; we split up.
I still continued to deny the truth to the answers I received that day playing that so called game, and though I shoved them into the back of my head over the course of the next several years, I never forgot the answers to my questions. I simply vowed to avoid contact with any and all boys named Logan.
It wasn’t until I was 20 years of age that the third part of the prophecy became full filled. In a dark part of my life in a dark club I refer to as Scumbers; I met a boy in a brown jacket, with light brown skin, brown hair, and the most incredible brown eyes. I instantly fell in love in that way that only seems possible in stories or films, but the feeling was real, and it has never faded. He told me his name was Muffin, which was short for “Stud Muffin.” (Conceded much? Yes, but oh well.) I couldn’t help myself when he asked me to dance I must have spit out an answer in a dialect that can only be compared to baby language. We danced, we exchanged numbers, and he called the next morning. From that point on we were inseparable, the best of friends. Oddly enough, for whatever reason, he would never tell me his real name. It became a joke I would say his mother named him Theodore.. Percy.. Poindexter.. and spit out all this random off the wall bull, the dorkiest shit I could come up with, just to mess with him. Then One day we made a stop by his mother’s house, which was never pleasant, just to grab some paraphernalia he had hidden in the closet. As he emerged from the house hastily I was sitting on the hood of the car finishing up a cigarette. He began half shouting “okay come on hurry up get in the car let’s go already..” when his mother busted out of the house and yelled LOGAN TY GET YOUR ASS…
I don’t remember the rest of the conversation. I remember that oh-shit feeling when I realized his name, and that oh-shit feeling when I knew I couldn’t deny my feelings for him.. Oh shit.
Eventually we did become an item, and eventually he moved in with me, and even though he is my lover he is my best friend. I knew in my heart that he would be the one I would spend the rest of my life with, but at what cost? My future seemed written in stone; however, I convinced myself that I was in control of my own destiny. These three events may have unfolded according to the spirits prediction but I decided to test the effects of the paranormal and fate on the 99% effectiveness of birth control. I liked those odds; apparently they did not like me. Despite the fact that I was very well protect, and my boyfriend was supposedly incapable of giving me a child I miraculously found myself pregnant in October and will give birth to my our first child at the shocking age of 22.
There are only two predictions that have yet to be fulfilled for me, one being the birth of my second child, and the final being my death at the age of 38 due to some sort of car accident. There are steps that can be taken to alter my future of course, I could go have a hysterectomy, I could pop out a couple extra kids, or heck I could just go ahead and off myself (ah-ha!) but I won’t do that, I consider suicide to be an extremely selfish act. Perhaps I could leave my fiancé? I have considered this simply because perhaps I could save him the heart ache of someday becoming a widower alone with our two children, perhaps it would be selfish of me to continue allowing him to love me. I have also considered that if the tables were turned I would stay with him all the way to the end, no matter what, and hope that I could die by his side. I know he feels the same way, he is completely aware of my situation and yet has the courage and bravery to stand by my side and deny the evidence. Divorce or separation would not alter anything anyways because; the prediction did not say anything about our marriage lasting forever simply that our love would. Even if we did separate, I know our love would still exist as strong as ever, my fate would not change but my remaining years would be wasted without him to hold. Lastly the final possibility that I have considered is to avoid cars altogether completely when I turn 38. I could simply refuse to drive anywhere, or walk anywhere near a road. However, who’s to say that that would really make a difference? The board said car accident, which does not necessarily mean I will end up crashing a car. A drunk driver could plow into my living room one day while I’m watching television, or if I go to some rural area and isolate myself in the jungle I’m feel certain death will still find me.
Even in my situation I do believe that people control their own destiny. With that stated I also believe that there are more powerful omnipotent beings that know what exactly what I am capable of. My knowledge of the future is both a blessing, and a curse. I will never grow old and lonely without my loved ones. I will never experience the idleness of a life longing for someone to call me, having no one to come and visit me, or experience the sorrows of being left alone to count the minutes hoping for death in a retirement center. This will never be my fate. The guilt I feel is that this may be the fate of my dearest love Logan, I hope that in the brief years our souls are separated he is able to find another to love him and comfort him. Despite my jealous nature, I never wish the despair of loneliness upon him; it won’t be difficult for him to find another. Even in the most superficial sense, he is the most handsome being I have ever gazed upon. I also hope our children will have no regrets after I pass, as children often do, because I don’t think I will have the courage to tell them my situation for fear of sounding even crazier than the average mom. The best that I can do for them, is to take out a ridiculous life insurance policy in a couple years, it ought to pay off, remind them every day how much they mean to me, and make my peace with God.
all theses occurences have happend you can choose to believe this or not. but it is true. this was a paper she had rote and none of my family was supost to read this. but i took a pice of the paper to mess with her and started to read. and she had no choice but to let me finish..this is the paper that she rote.

- I looked this subject up online because I cannot shake an experience that happened to me about 15 years ago. I was dating a guy and he brought out a Ouija Board from his parents closet. Not knowing anything about it just what I have seen in movies. For chucks and giggles I said "if there are any spirits out there show yourself". While nothing happened right away several hours later after having a few drinks and smoking some weed I was walking into my boyfriends room when he yelled, "come here now, look at this" and I looked into the living room and saw a black figure (SHAWDOW) that was darker than black; the darkest color I had ever seen, it was so dark that when it crossed in front of the couch it covered it to the point it was no longer visible. It slithered like a snake and then bounced a couple of times and was gone. At first the hair on my neck stood up and I was totally freaked out as was my boyfriend. I convinced my self it was because I had been drinking, I must have imagined it, but i knew better. A week later we finally talked about the incident. I told him I thought it was a hallucination. He told me was that weird how it slithered like a snake and then bounced and dissapeared. At the moment I was frozen with fear. I knew then it was real since two people a little buzzed do not hallucinate the same "image". I will never touch one of those things AGAIN!!! Be warned they do summon demons and dark shawdow figures.

After that we had a evil spirtit around us she seen red eyes, I heard loud bangs on our wallls seen moving objects. and we had very bad luck. I believe the spirit is stil inside her because she is still EVIL. I know the ouija is NOT a game. I tell people to STAY AWAY from it. I know its real and its evil......

- I did not know how to tell my story so chances are i have put it in the wrong place... I was just a baby when my sister got a quija board for her birthday; I was only seven. She was having a party and started to "play" I was told I was not old enough to play so I was in the kitchen with mom making snacks. I heard the talk of who is moving it and this can't be real but I remained in the kitchen where I had been banished to. Finally my sister came in and started complaining; "the stupid board wants kate to play". All excited I ran into the other room. I sat down with all the "cool kids" and slightly touched the pointer. I was the only one with my hands on the board so i knew it truly was moving alone on the board. It told me "we have a message for becky. we have your pop pop." let me continue with telling you I was seven and could hardly write a sentence on paper much less break down the words into letters that made any sense. Than the phone rang it was for becky; her dad was on his way because her grandfather had just died! We were all so flipped out that my sister took the board and cracked it over her knee... Fast Forward I am twelve years old now. My sister had grown up and moved away. I was cleaning one day (a rarity i might add) and I went to look under the sofa for trash, toys, etc. and what is laying right there but this damn board still with a crease down the middle. My younger sister (just by a year) had heard the story but never truly believed me. So despite my better judgment we "played one last time"... We started it announced its presence with a yes and than wrote we missed you kate... I instantly took my hands off the board but karlie (my sister) continued... it kept repeating kate over and over and over... than and still to this day I can not believe it happened my lamp flew off the end table and hit the wall... Karlie and I buried it in the back yard both hoping to forget all about it... Fast Forward yet again... I am now seventeen I come home from cheerleading practice and go straight to my room and what's sitting on my bed... you guessed it... that damn board! Still with the crease and this time kind of dirty! I ran down stairs and threw it at my father... I began yelling about how it was not funny... He said "Kate I swear on your life I did not do this"... He decided to play this time I sat there but did not say a word... It again said we miss kate... than get kate... he asked why it wanted me... its reply "we want her life" my dad got up and threw it in the wood burning stove... Fast Forward once again to last night... I am 22 now... happily married with an amazing son and twin girls on the way... My husband came home from work and laying on our bed was a board... Crease down the middle, dirty, and with burned edges... I flipped out and yelled that I did not know how he found out about it (cause I never told him) but this was not a good joke.... He asked what I was talking about... My husband does NOT lie to me... he says he did not know and he did not do it and I believe him.... This thing found me again.... this time I am NOT in the same house or the same town for that matter... I need help.... I need to get rid of it once and for all... it is sitting on my kitchen table right now and honestly I do not want it anywhere near my family... please help me... if anyone on here knows how to get rid of it for good let me know... it seems to pop up every five years... and I do not want to be searching for away to get rid of it again in another five!

- Many consider it taboo to discuss demons,, but they;re out there and something like a ouija board has the potential of contacting them. Unfortunately It isn't just ouija boards that can do this- going to the "wrong" psychic, doing alot of drugs or alcohol- many things can open doors that would be better staying shut.

- Excellent reading and quite fascinating. I too am very interested in the paranormal. If anyone has questions about the ouija board watch Paranormal Witness on Syfy. It's a new series and is very real! (quite frightening too.) If anyone is in need of protection come to maniddo villiage at manidoo.com/villiage. I hope many who wonder before using a ouiji take heed about it and your article could save lives. Many roam are restless for they shouldn't be here on Earth with the rest of us and should be in heaven. So take care and be careful. Thanks for such a good article.

- I have always be warned, by my mum, never to play with a ouija board,so when some friends started playing one lunchtime, I watched, but didn't join in. During the 'game' we had all the usual 'you're pushing the glass etc. so I decided to get one of the group to ask a question that I only knew the answer, and I have to say that the answer given was correct - spooky, or what? I have never gone near one ever since!

- I am so opposed to Oiji Boards that I almost didn't come visit...I read a bit and skimmed the rest as my memory of the only time I tried using one was a very strange experience. I was a child visiting a friend who invited me to ask some questions using the board. I knew nothing about what they were or did, was just curious and having fun, but having a close relationship with God through Christ (a Christian) everything inside of me recoiled against what was happening at the time, I said I didn't want to go on and never have touched another or gotten near to another to this date. There have been no ill effects because God is so much greater than any evil entity...but I know He also wants me to steer clear. Congrats on the LOTD...I think? :-)

- Congratulations on LOTD! This is one long, spooky lens --you did a great job creating it! I live in the sticks, and it gets super dark here with the woods on one side of my house and a huge lake and Indian mounds on the other side of me. My home office doesn't have curtains yet, and I'm going to be nervous tonight while surfing and Squidoo'ing (that's what I do on Friday nights...geek out!). Will I be tempted to come back here and read more stories tonight? Oh yeah, and I will play some spooky music while reading! Several years ago a group of friends and I were pretty much addicted to ouija boards, and we had some REALLY scary stuff happen. My mom never believed in ghosts or spirits, but she would NOT allow a ouija board in her home!! Mom must have had some type of spooky experience, herself. Fantastic lens, thumbs up!

- I've only ever had positive experiences with the ouija board. Although I do believe in the paranormal, I often wonder if the spirits called upon on the board are actually things pulled from our own psyches? There's little difference between using a board, or just a pen and paper for automatic writing. Hmmm...I wonder if it is possible to haunt a pen? An interesting...and spooky....lens.

- I stongly advise against using the Ouiji board. Have only had negative astral experiences - those forces are not to be played with; one can get unwittingly trapped for ETERNITY. The path is straight and narrow. Do not veer from it with the tempation of the astral, unless one is prepared for destruction of all that is of integrity. Want to hit bottom- choose alcohol or drugs over the ouiji board. At least that bottom is reconizable, and one can go up from there. The astral is bottomless.

- The Ouija board is definitely not just a toy. I played around with one in college, and it told me the initials of my future husband (although interestingly reversed). It belonged to a friend of mine, and she didn't want it in her room anymore. I didn't really believe in it, so I told her I would keep it in my room for a while. After a short time, I decided I didn't want it in my room anymore, either! Things moved around, radio dials were switched, and voices whispered my name at night when I tried to sleep. Not to mention the night terrors! Was it my imagination? The mere presence of this Ouija board that I didn't believe would do anything? I don't really think so! Scary stuff!

now some one might ask me so why dont u try playing it and see if Jesus can scare away the spirits but I would say to them:
" It is written that we must never put the lord our god into test"
Hence I will rather stay away from such things and stick to Jesus.
Praise the lord.

- These Ouija boards are like a gun. Not dangerous in themselves, but until you understand how to use them, they can be deadly. You ask for protections from the freewill positive side, and then you ask to speak with only an angel from the free will positive side, etc. Even then, without an basic understanding of protections, and spirits, you can still get a negative answering. Thanks for a serious look at these devices. And yes, I had my own very alarming experience with one when I was a lot younger. Now I just use a dowsing rod!

I think you should note when you use (not 'Play') with a Ouija board, when you are ready to finsih the conversation MAKE SURE THE 'spirit' says GOOD-Bye otherwise do not pack it until it does. Also I included this lens in with my haloween lens (will be publishing on the 1st or 2nd of October so for sure should be able to view it on the 3rd. - Okay, so I know It seems weird but I'm thirteen and just yesturday I used a game like internet Ouija board. First we contacted a spirit, Janie(not her real name, just saying it so you won't try contacting her). She was 61 and got poisoned. We asked her if she knew who and she said no. Then asked if she was ever married and said no. Then we were in the middle of typing another question and she spelled out 10 58pm. It was the exact time where we were so we got freaked out and exited.
When we played it again later, we had the lights on so it didn't cooperate. The only information we got was that it got murdered at thirty. It wouldn't tell us at all what her/his name was or what gender it was.
Then we turned out the lights and played again. This one was the creepiest. We contacted a ten year old girl, Karol(again, not her real name). She said she did suicide because of "pain" Then we asked if she lived in Missour (she said she did). That's the state we were in. Then we asked if she used to live in our city, she again answered yes. Then we asked specificly if she used to live on my firend's street and she said no. Then we asked if she used to live on my street and it said no. I was already freaked out and we asked are you here and she said yes. I was really freaked out and I asked show yourself and it replied S-P-I-D-E-R. It didn't make sense but a few seconds later a huge spider ran across my laptop and me and my friend screamed and ran out.
When we finally were okay, we went back in and played again with another girl, Carrie (not her real name) and she said she was stabbed. My friend exited because she said usually spirits who were stabbed would want to haunt us and try stabbing us.
We didn't play again and I'm too scared to play by myself.

Widemouth Sep 16, 2011 @ 12:27 pm | delete
- You should burn the game and never play again. You are not talking to girls you are communicating with lying demonic spirits who want to trick you into being under their control by enticing you with curious stories to keep you coming back over and over while they gain your trust more and more. The reason you are too scared to play by yourself is because "your internal spirit" knows that you risk demonic possession by opening yourself up and inviting demons into communication with you. I'm not saying this just to scare you, I'm saying it because I understand spiritual things and because God loves you and wants to protect you. I'm praying for you. God Bless

- A friend of mine lost a close friend of hers a few years ago and a couple of months later her and a few of her friends done a home made ouija board to try contact this friend. they said it was a scary experience furniture flew across the room pipes groaned and the lamp broke. they said they finished it properly by sayin goodbye and burining the paper.since she has had the worst luck ever. every week something belongin to her is stolen, broken or goes missing. Hundreds of unfortunate things happen to her all the time and this is only since she tried the ouija board. I'm curious to know are these linked as she and her friends done it in her bedroom.

- When I was a kid, my two close friends and I would often use a Ouija board. We were very much in awe at the answers and such we would get. I remember several of our encounters.
Once, we encountered a very pleasant girl by the name of Tabitha. She had died in a fire, if I remember correctly, and she gave very long, relatively friendly answers.
Another time, we were greeted by a seemingly nice woman, who wouldn't tell us how she died or why she was talking to us. As we continued to ask her questions and talk to her, she became increasingly aggressive and would answer quickly, but with mean responses, almost vicious at time. Even though we said goodbye, sometimes when we would use the board at future sleepovers, we'd be having pleasant talks with random spirits and they would spell out her name randomly in the middle of a casual conversation.

- Ouija boards can and will release bad and good spirits the trouble is you have no control over which type will visit you. It Is best to steer clear altogether.

- I've always been curious about the ouija board, so last night me and my bestfriend decided to make one of our own (thanks to the help of youtube) and tried it out. We went into her guest room, we sat the board down and began to chant ouija 3 times while lightly moving the cursor thingy in circles across the board. Then my friend asked if a spirit was present, and it said yes. I looked at my friend like, wtf, did you move this? And she looked just as weirded out as me. We ended up talking to a spirit named Michael, who claimed to be a murderer and said he wanted to kill us, so we quickly ended that convo. Then we tried it again, and we talked to someone named Walter, who was actually very nice. But, he kept claiming he knew my friend, so I asked if it knew her name. And it spelled out her name, so she freaked out and ended that convo. Then we tried it again, and talked to a 90 yr old man named jose, who said he was a rapist and raped a 5 yr old, so we ended that convo very quickly. I was starting to get freaked out, so I told my friend that we would use the board once more and then put it away for the night. So we played again, and we talked to a spirit. She said her name was Tia. And my friend asked her how old she was, and she said 14. So my friend asked how she's dead, and she said she was stabbed. And I asked her, sarcastically, who stabbed you? And she spelled out y-o-u. I laughed and said, I didn't stab you, I don't even know anyone named Tia. Do you know me, Tia? And it said, yes. And I scoffed and said, really now? What's my last name? And it spelled out my last name. I rolled my eyes and said, well, i'm sorry but I didn't stab you. Do you have anything else important to say? And it said yes, and began to spell out f-u-c- and so I stopped it midway and asked if it was trying to tell me fuck you, and it said yes. And I said cool, anything else? And it said, f-u-c-k y-o-u s-h-i-t-h-e-a-d. And I said look, I didn't do anything to you, but i'm sorry. Do you forgive me? And it moved quickly to no. And I said, fine, anything else to add? And it moved to yes, and spelled out y-o-u h-a-v-e m-o-s, and quickly moved to goodbye. I still have no idea what it was trying to spell out... But, needless to say, I didn't get much sleep last night.

- I'm 14 and I've been wanting to play the ouija board, but I know all the horrible things that could happen and for some strange reason that doesn't bother or really make me not want to play with it. I have a friend who I'm pretty sure has had some experience with the ouija board and also has had an uncle who also has had experience with it. I want her to play it with me but she doesn't believe that I really want to play it and thinks I'm just joking also I'm pretty sure that when you're playing the ouija board you're always contacting a demon

- After finally catching up with the Angel School Bus, I am fluttering around Paranormal-ville to drop off some Blessings. Just wanted you to know I am here because your page caught my attention. Leaving you with a *Blessing* for doing such a great job on this page.
My last experience with an ouija board was when I was about eleven (I think) the censor flew off of the board and landed in my lap. Since that time I swore to never get around another one and I haven't.

- I played with Ouija boards when I was a kid. I never purposely made the thing move, but it always worked no matter who was the other player. We asked lots of questions and got some surprising answers at times. But I knew they weren't coming from me. I've always been a great speller (but make lots of typos), and that's where the problem of belief comes in. Sometimes the board would misspell things, so I always asked the other person how to spell the misspelled word. Every single time, the other player would use the very same misspelling. My favorite one was when the 'spirit' said he was Satan, but spelled it 'Satin'. That's the very same spelling my friend used, so it validated my belief that the other person was controlling the device. It still amazes me that it works at all, regardless of the principle involved. Once I made fun of the 'spirit' and said I didn't believe it. Honest, it spelled out 'F-u-c-k y-o-u'. It was many years before I used one again! BTW, I'm a male and always had my best results with females. The answers were always better, sometimes even poetic, whereas males usually ended up having more combative conversations with the thing. I'm very much a skeptic about the paranormal, but I can't figure out how the Ouija works. Weak-minded people should stay away from it because they tend to believe that the spirits are real and can lead to lots of different fears. I personally disbelieved the spiritual aspect and was never affected by it. I always knew it had something to do with the subconscious rather than the psychic. I have to admit I'm still amazed it works at all.

- I've heard really nothing but bad stories of them. I agree there are indeed evil ones and dangerous ones but I don't believe they all are. Here's a true story of an experience I had.
So my mom's best friend let me borrow her ouaji board for a while (I have it again). So I did some research to insure I was going to use it correctly and what to ask to be safe. Once I did all that I invited a friend over because i was too scared to try it all alone. So we started and she was a major non-believer in this kind of stuff (I'm not for i have lived in a haunted house before, it too was a nice spirit there). But the lens started to move really fast and answered us. We soon learned it was a 17 year old boy with the initials ALE (so we called him ale which he found funny). We soon learned he liked to use the smiling sun as a simile face and used the two girls in the two bottom corners to refer to use and the floating head behind them as himself. He had a hilarious sense of humor and enjoyed laughing and talking. We didn't have to even say anything and he'd just start talking and talking about his life and such. I asked him why he died. His response "car crash". We were both confused because my house was a brand new home and no car crashes had happened near by. We told him good-bye and went to the computer and looked it up. We found that on the main road around 10 miles from my house a little over a year ago a teenage boy had died because he was rear-ended and sent off the road. The passenger in the car had survived but the driver didn't. We asked if that was him and he said yes. I said how I was a little afraid of driving on major roads in the winter (when he died) and he said "good. I don't want either of you to go like that too" And my friend asked "really?" And he said "yes. I want you two to live long lives" Then he moved to the sun for a happy face again.
He was a very interesting guy who would even amuse my younger siblings. After a few days I asked "why haven't you passed over?" and he said when it first happened he was too scared. He didn't want to die. I told him I was sorry and he said "I at least have friends" and made a happy face. So a few more days past and I started telling him how I hoped that he'd find the light and go into it and be happy. And one day when I wasn't even talking or asking a question he said "I see the light? Should I go?" I told him yes he should defiantly go. And then he said "Thank you. Hope to see you again one day. Good-bye" and I haven't heard from him since.
So that's why I think there are good spirits you just have to be careful and open. :)

The Spirit replied "May 20th, 2010" The conversation continued... without a goodbye they left. Over two months later, on the date of May 20th, 2010, My friend got a knock on the door. A man in a navy uniform stood at the door and told my friends mother that her husband had died fighting in the war. On May 20th. - hello my name i megan. ive had a ouija board since i was little. i never wanted it so i gave it to a friend. YOU MUST SAY GOODBYE WHEN YOU PUT THE BOARD AWAY AND FLIP IT OVER OTHERWISE THE GHOST WILL GET OUT dont be stupid take this advice all it is is a demon ask it and it will tell you! when we played we asked if it could spell one word to describe what would happin if it got out (NEVER LET IT SPELL THE ENTIRE ALPHABET BACKWARDS THATS HOW THEY GET OUT!!!) and it spelled "death" so we said goodby. we asked if it liked to play tricks and it went fast back and forth between yes and no so again we said goodby. we asked do you like to lie and it said yes. but the craziest thing is that IT CAN READ YOUR MIND!!! we asked it to spell what we were thinking and it spelled it out but then we asked what is my favorite color which is purple but i thought green and it spelled green. the ouija board doesnt know anything but what you are thinking. try asking it a question but think a different answer and it wont get it right trust me all it is is an angry spirit trying to get out so pleeease say goodbuy when your done playing turn the board upside down and leave it. spirits r serious things dont play if you cant do it right. look up the rules play safe ;)

- I played with a home made Ouija board with my friends Emily, Kristien and Zach. It started out boring. They wouldn't talk to us. then as soon as Kristin came in they started talking. Kristin and Zach had experience with Ouija boards, and they always bless them selves after its over. So anyways, as soon as Kristin came in it got very angry suddenly. We asked who I was going to marry. (I liked my friend Zach at the time, and I didn't know but he liked me too.) and It went to a Z. we all looked at each other and my friend Emily asked if it meant Z for Zach. It went to "yes." Then we asked who Emily was going to marry and it went to "C" and she asked if it meant Corey. (Corey is Emily's boyfriend of 2 years.) It got really mad later on after asking a bunch of different questions and we asked who it hated and it went to "Z" we asked why and it spelled out "Pure". We think this was because they blessed them selves. It kept going to 666. and we would throw the pointer off the board to get it to stop, but it continuously did it. We eventually gave up and buried it in their yard. You are supposed to bury it on the persons residence who you played with it at, and they can't know where it is. and then after that we purified the room and "swept" the evil spirits out. and since then nothing has happened. BUT be warned. You are never talking to who you think you are, I personally think it is Satan who you are talking to. Playing tricks with your mind. but I'm not gonna say "DON'T PLAY WITH OUIJA BOARDS!" 'cause I thought it was very exciting. I am an adrenaline junkie.

- ouija boards are definitely real! I was playing with a group of friends the other night, and i got more creeped out than i ever was. After communicated with it about our social lives, we told it to tell us the numbers the appear on my friend, Ellie's phone. Ellie dialed 4 numbers on her phone, and stood on the other side of the room. Nobody else knew the numbers except for her, and she wasn't in contact with the ouija board. It would correctly tell us the four numbers, and it was the creepiest thing ever. I now know that ouija boards are real, and to never mess with them.

- Last time I used a ouija board was last year. I had got it for my 17th birthday. I was bored on night and decided to play it. I asked it what its name was and it spelled out "B-L-A-D-E" Which was the name of my boyfriend who had killed himself the day before my birthday ( Because his dad killed his mom) . I started to get freaked out a bit then I asked how it died it said " You should know" So I got extremely scared. I then asked if it had anything to say and it spelled " I love you"... I started to wonder if it was really him. i asked it one last question before putting it up. " Are you my dead boyfriend?" It spelled yes. So I got so freaked out I threw it against the wall and started to cry. I have only used it once after that.

- One day my friend Catie, her sister Krystal, and I were sitting in my Grandma's front yard. I had brought my Ouija board over and we were using it. At first, we had been talking to a spirit named Gizmo, and we asked him to show himself but he refused. We shrugged it off and said goodbye since we had to leave. A few hours later we came back and sat in the front yard again, using the Ouija Board. This time we met a spirit named Garfield. We knew there was supposed to be a thunderstorm later that night so we asked "Garfield, can you possibly do something with the lightning?" and he replied with "yes." After a couple minutes we said goodbye since it started to drizzle. We all went inside my Grandma's house and sat at the table in the kitchen. Five minutes later, the transformer on the phone pole blew. It sounded like a gunshot, and we screamed. We took the Ouija board and asked "Is Garfield here?" and he replied "yes." So we asked "Was that you, with the transformer?" he replied "No, that was Gizmo."

Nothing more.
Its as spiritually connected as Chutes and Ladders.....or the sinister CandyLand.

The spirits can still spell.
Have a nuetral person write down the answers....which will be gibberish......and prove my point.

- On March 5th, 2011, My friends Hallie and Michelle and I were messing around with a makeshift Ouija board that we had fashioned out of paper and a wine glass. After calling 2 'spirits' we called upon a third. We asked if it was good, and what it's name was. When it spelled it out, we got that it had spelled out our friend Hallies name. We got kinda weirded out, but kept going. (Mind you, it was not even 10am) We asked the age of the spirit. It said 15. My friends and I are all 15 years old.
We're not really sure what it means, but we got so freaked out, and Hallie started crying, so we ended the session.
We looked up all 15 year old girls that had died, at any point in time, at age 15 that were named Hallie, but we found nothing.
Can anyone tell us what this means? Hallie's birthday is next week, and she'll be turning 15. Is the spirit directed at her???? Please help us..

- Because I cannot get an actual Ouija board, I play around with them online. When I first heard it piqued my curiosity, so I would ask them questions and see there answers.
Me: Do you believe in god?
Spirit: No
Me: Who are you?
Spirit: A friend
Me: Do you believe in Jesus Christ, the only son of the true living god?
Spirit: Yes
Me: Are you good?
Spirit: No
At this point I got freaked out, and left.

- I have only one thing to tell people that have or are planing to get an ouia board: Put it as deep as you can in your closet. Mainly because of this tale that a friend told me:
"My Aunt used an ouija board. She was christian, so when it worked she claimed it 'witchcraft and that it must be burned,' so she did burn it. Seemed pritty confident. She went to sleep, woke up the next day and it was in perfect condition at the foot of her bed. Again she claimed 'witchcraft' she chopped it up, and burned it again. She is in the hospital now of serious burns."

- My first and only Ouija board experience occurred during my 12th birthday party at a friend's home. My friend Sherry had just bought an Ouija board for the occasion and her mom had invited several friends for a slumber party. We all dressed in our pajamas and our training bras were sneaked off to become ice cubes in the freezer. Four of us girls sat on the floor with this Ouija board in the middle. We started to ask it typical girl questions. I asked it how many kids well I have? It answered - 3. I do now have 3 grown kids. The I became obsessive about my living status and asked several times what kind of home will I have. It gave me a different answer every time. First it answered an apartment. But I didn't like that answer and asked it again, then it said a shack, then it said a trailer. I stopped asking any further questions about my future dwelling. I was wanting it to give me a answer like, a mansion or large home. But it didn't happen. And to date, I have lived in a shack, in an apartment and in a trailer. After the Ouija board game, my four friends then asked me to lay flat on the floor with 2 friends at each of my side. With just 2 fingers from each friend placed under me, they levitated me off the ground! It freaked me out and I ran home in the dark, in my pajamas without going back. I haven't touched an Ouija board since.

- Last night 5 of my friends used a ouija board for the first time. after a few spirits we met a girl who only told us her initials. we asked normal questions about boys and to see if it was real we asked personal questions that nobosy but oursleves knew. every answer was correct. after a while we learned about this girls murder and the afterlife. we then learned there were more spirits with her. we asked if they could show us they were there. we heard tapping noises all around the room and the curtains started being pushed down on certian spots on the window. when we put out hands near those spots on the window we felt and electric shock type feeling. after that we got kind of scared and stopped playing. but we feel like we have become friends with this girl spirit,

- Recently things have been happening in my room in our house of ten, almost eleven years. Thigns falling in closet, banging in the attic above my room, and then me waking up to four fresh scratches on my chest one morning. Because of the occurances, I thought a Ouija board we be a possible solution to what has been going on, after researching them and reading the horrible outcomes, in which I totally believe in. My brothers girlfriend, Bianca, went to a local Toys R Us and purchased a glow in the dark Ouija board. Although we did not try this "game" in my room, we brought it to my sisters house. My sister had a friend over, so the four of us decided to try it.
With me freaking out at this point, we turned off the lights, lit some candles around the living room and got nothing the first time. After that I didn't want to try anymore so went outside to call my boyfriend, while the three did it once more. This time, they met a female named Ret Brak, that was died in 1946 that died at age 50. She said she was a good spirit, and would only answer questions to my sisters voice. The last question was to prove she was there, and after the whipping candle flame and sounds as to splashing water from the bathroom, they said goodbye. Sisters words exactly. The Ouija board is in Bianca's trunk now, I refuse to bring it in the house. If anyone has any comments or advice the can give me about the things or possible encounters that have happened please email me, fhprincess818@aol.com. My name is Sarah and I'm a sixteen year old that would like a few answers to why this is happening all of a sudden and why this feels like it's towards me?

- Last night i was with friends, and we made our own board. Anyways we came across a couple of bad spirits, and many good ones. and there was one boy in particular. A 17 year old male that was murdered in 2003. My friend and i gained a strong connection with him and asked him to come back to my other friends house where i was sleeping last night. During the car trip I had a strong spirit around me well one that i could really feel. I left my hand open on the seat next to me, palm facing upwards as if i was holding someones hand. We finally got home and we connected with this boy, his name was dillon and i asked if he was holding my hand in the car and he confirmed yes. He was really an interesting person :)

- I'm glad that some people talk about their good experiences here too. I've borrowed one before and I got in contact with a 17 year old boy too. He had died in a car accident on the main road near my house. He only gave me his initials. I looked them up and around a year ago a teenage boy had been killed because someone speeding had rear ended him and sent him into a ditch. He had broken his neck due to the fact his airbags didn't deploy. So I talked to him again and asked if that was him and he said "yes". I told him how I wasn't all that comfortable when driving on big roads and freeways and he said "good". I also asked him why he didn't pass over and he said "I was scared". So then I started talking to him about how he shouldn't be scared and go for it. After a while of me not talking because my dad had been calling up to me to ask me something it started to move "see light. should I go?" I told him yes. he then said "thank you. hope to see you again someday. good-bye" and I haven't heard from him since. It's been nearly 5 months. So I don't believe all the spirits that contact thru it are bad. Just be careful when using. Follow the rules people and don't try to piss them off. some are good while others aren't that is why you MUST ask "are you from the sun or the moon?" apparently they cannot lie to that question and must state the truth. sun=good moon=bad

- My brother brought one of these home like 10 years ago, it sat in our hall closet unwrapped for the longest time. Me and my friends took it out a few times and goofed with it not knowing what exactly to do. Eventually my mother chucked it in the garbage. I'm glad I never did know how to use it because I only hear bad stories about them. I don't think it communicates with the dead I think it brings something evil out that wants to play. I've read stories from people who have messed with the board or practice wicken that get very thin scratches on their body. I don't advise playing with this kind of stuff...

- My mom told me that a story about my grandma using a ouija board once . Her and her friends went into this abandoned house , and it was a nice day, not a cloud in the sky . But the house was all boarded up windows and stuff . My grandma wasn't that into it, so while they were playing, she went over to one of the windows . a moment later, all the windows exploded out of the house . I don't know if you'll believe that, but it happened. And there was this HUGE storm outside, it was raining and the sky was full of black clouds . Crazy! and my grandma asked her friends , like , What did you say?! And one of them told her that they had just asked if there was really a Jesus Christ . I thought it was a crazy story, but I believe it .

- I have had an experience with an ouija board. I was sleeping over a friends house and I decided we should try and make our own ouija board. (My friend's name is Holly and my name is Alice by the way) Since Holly didn't know how to make a ouija board I made it myself. The little triangle thing that moves, I forget what it's called, sorry, was just a triangle of paper with a hole in it and the board was a piece of paper with the letters and symbols written in marker. We started using it but before we did we both swore not to try and move it outselves. Throughout the night we talked to at least 5 spirits, including one who had a reaalllyy freaky power. I know I'm going to sound like a loon but this spirit could read our minds. She was the only one who scared me, she had a really bad vibe about her. I haven't used a ouija board since, I've been too nervous that I'll talk to that spirit again. (Feel free to email me at megamuffingirl@yahoo.com if you want to talk about anything paranormal, I love it! :D)

- I remember playing with a Ouija board once when I was a kid. I was at my friend's house and it was one of the first times we were using a Ouija board (one of her friends told her about it). So, we went down to her basement and tried it out. There was a reply from this ghost named "Rachel" and she would always reply whenever we were down there playing with the Ouija board. Then, she told us that she had been murdered in a house that was on one of the roads next to my friend's house. After that, we just got scared of Rachel (I was only like 11) and I never played with another Ouija board after that. My friends no longer believe that ghosts actually talk to you through them, but I am still somewhat sure that it can happen.

- I used a Ouija board by myself one time at my old house, not expecting it to work and it did. It gave me a name of a girl named "Tess". A few days later, I was in the woods and I stopped on this small bridge, and when I looked down, the name TESS was carved into the railing! Soon after that, weird things started happening in my house. Scratching at the front door, footsteps upstairs when I was home alone, dogs barking at this one spot of my house. I'm glad I moved!

- that is true! The bible says to stay away from wiychcraft and anything satanic. Satin is pure evil and he will do anything to mess with you and he will try everything he can to kill you but Theres hope for you, his name is Jesus Christ and he who belives in him will not perish but have ever lasting life. now id rather be with my savior in heaven the die over and over in hell. Ghosts dont exist but demons do and the ouijia board is just a gateway for those demons to came and mess with your head. But just remember that the devil will flee in the name of Jesus Christ and if you believe you will be saved. For all of the people out there who are scarred and alone, do not worry for in the end it will all get better, keep your faith and dont give up on God, he will never give up on you, because he has so much love for you and he too will be with you even though you may not want him to. If you believe the devil exists then you have to believe God exsits because Satin was once an angel of God but chose to fall and now we have to chose if we want to be saved or forever fall. God is REAL and he does exist! and for this person to point this out that it is not a toy is true, it really isnt. Just remember you can make decisions, so make the right ones, rebelling may seem like fun, but in the end, you regret every second of it. so in the name of Jesus Christ for loved and to be loved forever.

- I played the Quija Board and im never doing it again, me and 2 mates jake and mary, did the quija board at her party. so we made one out of card board and then instead of putting 2 fingers on, we put our pinkys on. Jake did the talking, he said "Em... is anyone there cause this is my first time doing this and im really erm.. interested in what you have to say." So then something wierd happened, the whole row of houses lights just turned off then turned back on. I couldn't stop screaming. and then we found out this man called robert was doing it. and how weird is this. he told us to research him and we did and he was a real man. then i asked him to prove it even more. and i soo wish i had not cause the door slamed shut and the painting next to it felt down and blocked the door. I screamed like hell and threw the board out the window... DON'T do the Quiga board...

- Hey! I had this type of thing happen once actually. Me and my friend Megan were communicating, I am sensitive and definatly was scared. Megan didn't close it properly, and when I realized this I got freaked so we began talking to the spirit again. I asked if its going to harm Megan, it said yes, we asked if it was evil (which was kinda obvious, right?) It said yes. There isn't anything you can do to fix it, I may suggest seeing someone who is sensitive to spirits though. We were like, wouldn't it be crazy if we woke up and your tredmil was on? I freaked, unplugged it. Next day my Moms like girls why did you leave the tredmill on? It was going, and was not plugged in. Also, once, I was sitting in a chair and something was behind me, I felt it, I could...see dark, and i figured it wasn't sister, I looked over and my sister was sitting in bed. I sometimes feel something behind me, I will wake up at wierd hours in the night and the tv will be on, and turned way up, sometimes I will grab a glass from the kitchen and a huge...pressure sweeps by me and the glass goes flying and my Mom gets like "why are you so clumbsy?" well, truth is, it isn't me. I really advise against spending your life looking for signs something is there to "get you" just, try to live with it. Was your choice to use the board, as it was mine. Unfortunatly as far as I know you will have to live with it, which can be scary :( I might try and find you on facebook, just because I am curious if anythings happened to you as well.

- I Swear that every word i write is truth and i truley believe that if youo mess with ouija boards that thing that are good can contact you. I have contacted my grandfauther. He died when i was one year old. He never met my littlw sister. I asked him if he was an angel, he said yes. I asked if he was MY grardian angel, he said yes. I asked him if he was my grandpa. he said yes. I had to prove it. i asked him if he missed me, he said yes. I asked him if he missed my little sister (whom he'd never met so couldnt miss) and he said no. I asked him what year he died. he said 1996. i was born october 23 1995. I talked to my angel! Yes bad can come from ouija boards but so much good can come fron them to. If you wish to be protected during a seance recite this twice before you start "I invit those spirits who are only for my highest good. Any spirits who come through who are not good are to be absorbed into the white light of protection harming none." Make sure at the end of the seance you move the pointer over the goodbye and thank the spirt you have talked to.

Logan decided to sacrifice himself and sat in the middle. we didn't know who to call so all 9 of us chanted " HOLY CRAP" 10 times. we all looked at Logan and then he stood up. everyone ran in the house screaming " THE GHOST OF HOLY CRAP IS COMING AFTER US!!!!!" after 15 minutes of running and screaming we all went back outside and Logan stopped running and sat down. he blinked a couple times and asked why everyone was screaming.... he still doesn't get the story. and its been 2 months.

- Fascinating stories- however, stories do not equal evidence IMHO, they are powerful folklaw nevertheless and create expectation in anyone wanting to play the Oiuja board. The psychological illusionist Derren Brown used one in the live show I saw and he has explained how they work- you can get similar results handing a weight from a piece of string from your hand- willing it to go in circles or straingt lines- you are unconciously using your ideomotor reflex, which is fascinatiing in itself!

It might be that they are but one way to focus some sort of energy that can lead to things occurring, but I don't think it is the actual board itself that is anything special.
Still to be on the safe side, it's best not to mess with them, or anything else that is believed to have the potential to call up undesirable entities.

I have also had some freaky times with the Ouija bored i used to go to my friend Seth house and we would go out side and play it but my mom would never let me have one so i made one and it worked the same. One of my stories are one time it was me and seth playing it and a evil spirit came to the bored i asked it to leave and it refused and we couldnt leave the bored because if u leave b for the spirit thats opening a doorway so they can come through but we asked its name and it spelled satin we started to freak out he asked him to prove it and my bedroom light started to fliker on and off he told me if i wasnt on gods side he would kill me i asked what do u mean on god side he spelled u r still a virgen i was so freaked out but if u have any questions u can email me at kyle_smith44@yahoo.com

- Very good lens! If people really knew the dangers of using the ouiji boards, I am sure many would not use them. Perhaps to non-believers it would simply be a game, but for those who have an understanding about the Paranormal, knows the difference.

- on the 19th of January 2010. me and 3 mates sat in a room with a ouija bored and played the game, at the time Cody did not believe the stories, but still he was scared to do anything, my mate stuart was scared of it no matter what, and adrian he was scared but he held his hands over the bored as I toched the glass thing thing.
we all chanted together "come spirits in the air and talk to us if you dare.
in a place were no life survives, in a place evil thrives.
now I call you to the bored, now speak to us through this glass.
now for the living shall pass."
then I circled the bored with the glass, then moved it back to the middle of the bored. "spirits speak to me" I said "is anybody there", nothing happened for about 30 seconds then it moved to yes and circled it. then it moved back to the middle.
"what is your name, if I may ask" i asked, the glass slowly spells out
C-H-R-I-S-T-O-P-H-E-R, he was an old family friend that pasted away 3 years before I was born. I asked "what have you come back to do", it started to spell T-O but then the candles were blown out and the spirit vanished, I then moved the glass to good bye and folded the bored after saying Amen.
we were all thrilled that the bored had worked, we had no thought to what the spirit had tried to say to me.
that night we decided to do it a second time, we were supposed to swap posissions so that i would watch but the others chickened out so I had to do it again.
we used the same chant again, every thing was the same up to the name. the name was V-A-L-E. the rest of what Happend I would rather tell a believer so if you have read this and you want to know what happened to me after the name, email me at shaun4638@hotmail.com http://freakiest.ouijastories.ever.com/utility/module/captcha?_squidcap_i=ec.1263992732.feb4d448e988bcf5a6932caf57941023&

- I'm 38 and haven't played with my ouiji board since I was probably 19. The spirits seemed to be drawn to certain people. I would talk to a spirit named Daniel, he always a calm spirit and would always be there when I was playing on the board. Some spirits would overpower him though. I still have the board, but I don't know if I would ever do it again. I have kids now and I just feel like the spirits would try to harm them.

- If it scares you why do ou still want to do it. You said to have a friend and talk to a nice person. What makes you think that something nice is going to come through much less a friend. If you want a friend talk to GOD he is the best friend that you'll ever have. He gives you unconditional love and he's there for you no matter what. Talk to God and read the bible instead you'll find a lot of anwers that you might have there.and when it comes to your questions the answer for the first one is no as long as you don't play it. and the second one the answer is no as well. Just by looking up stories about demons and reading about it, they will not come to hunt you. On the contrary it's good not to be an ignorant about things like this and learn about other people experiences. I hope I was of help to you.

- I was at a friends house when one of them came into the room with a ouija board . We started to play with it. My friend asked " do you have a message from the other side for anyone? The board went to yes. When asked "who?" the board spelled out my name Daniella. I thought the guys were playing around and pushing the pointer so I asked who Is saying "goodbye" to me ? The board said Nana. I said "That's sick you guys, stop messing around" because both my Grandmothers were alive though one was ill in hospital for a few weeks with heart problems. They all swore that they were not joking and the look on their faces was of true sincerity. I got up from the board and after about an hour I went home. When I got there my flatmate came up to me and said to me "Did your mother get call you"? I said no, why? She sat me down and told me that my mother had called to tell me that my Nana had died of a heart attack at about 5:30 that evening. I will never play with a ouija board again.....

- My sister and I got the Ouija for Christmas in 1978 from my grandma who thought it was a board game. It worked immediately for us and sometimes when we would laugh at it, the pointer would race across the board and stab us in the stomach. One evening when we were unable to attend our high school football game, we asked the board for the final score. We wrote the score on a piece of paper, gave it to our mom because she stayed up to watch the local news, and went to bed. Our mom ran upstairs to our bedroom literally screeming ... the score matched exactly! I could also move the pointer on my own without help from anyone else. It works...that was over 30 years ago and I still have it in my home; however, I do not use it anymore. My children have heard my stories and will not allow me to get it out.

- In Reply to Karen.
The Ouija is considered a window. Just like a window, one must close it before leaving. Good & Evil can come through that window. The spirit demanding to close the window could have been giving a warning. Something evil could have been lerking. Hopefully your brother did listen, & hopefully he said Goodbye before he left the board. Always say GOODBYE when you are done with the Ouija Board. Anything can & will come through!

- A Ouija is not just a toy. It can actually open a door for things that you might not want, or be able to deal with. While I don't think it happens every time someone messes with one, it does happen.
