Freddy Krueger Halloween Masks, Glove, Decorations and Props

In the Fall of 1984, a small independent movie caused mass hysteria around the world and was known as the largest outbreak of insomnia ever reported. People were double checking that the doors were locked, their windows shut and that there was nobody hiding under their beds. Unfortunately, even after doing everything that they could, what could they possibly do for the next 6-8 hours to make sure that they didn't fall asleep? Seems hard to believe now, but in 1984, when "A Nightmare on Elm Street" opened, the world was introduced to a horrifying new character that would change the film industry forever -- the menacing Freddy Krueger.

Freddy Krueger, portrayed by Robert Englund, was a child murderer who killed 20 children in small town with the help of his infamous Freddy Krueger Gloves, gloves that contained several long stemmed razor sharp blades as fingers. After a botched prosecution, Freddy Krueger got released from jail, whereby the local residents and parents of the child victims decided to take justice into their own hands. They band together and burned Freddy Krueger alive by bombarding his home with Molotov Cocktails. Ten years later, Freddy Krueger returned to haunt the dreams of children that belonged to his vigilante posse and kill them... one by one.

As the years went on and in the later films, A Nightmare on Elm Street went in a different direction than originally intended, as Freddy Krueger took on a more comedic approach towards slaying his victims. His sarcastic wit and over-the-top one liners became the source that fueled more and more sequels and spin offs. Which was, in my own personal opinion, that which began the downfall of the character and the entire movie series in general.

However, regardless of what others may think, we can all agree that the first movie was truly unique and horrifying to the very end. It was the very nature of what Freddy Krueger was all about -- a cold hearted, ruthless, maniacal child murderer who killed his victims in their sleep -- and there was no escape!

And since Freddy Krueger is known to many as being one of the most horrifying film icons of all time, it comes as no surprise that many people love dressing up as him during Halloween. With his traditional mutilated and heavily burned scarred face, his trademarked razor gloves, a black and red striped sweater with brown fedora hat, you have lots of options to choose from to create that authentic Halloween costume outfit that will surely scare all the neighbors back to 1984!

This Freddy Krueger mask is a pretty good latex mask but the photo doesn't do this mask justice. It's very thick, however, it is also a very tall mask in length. This is a great mask for those who have a narrow tall head. You would want to add dark brown makeup in the eye area due to the open eye sockets, as this will add a more authentic look and feel.

Freddy Chest of Souls Costume Mask - $39.99
This is a very creepy chest suit that carries the souls of children which Freddy murdered. The chest piece comes with the traditional red-black striped sweater that can be pulled open to show the souls. This really freaks me out a lot and does look real. Great detail went into this!

Freddy Foam Latex Mask - $52.99
An amazing mask made of foam latex material. What makes this mask special are the foam pieces placed within the mask itself. The mask will move with the expressions or the contours of your own face. Very lifelike and molds to your face to fit snug. This is the perfect mask for those wanting a more "lifelike" mask feel.

Deluxe Freddy Mask - $35.99
This was the most popular Freddy Krueger mask sold last year and the detail is excellent. One look at this mask in real life will really scare you to death and give you plenty of nightmares! This is a high quality mask, however, you must treat it as such. The more detailed they are, the more vulnerable they become to rips and tears -- so be careful with this mask.

Freddy Creature Reacher Costume - $229.00
The Creature Reacher costumes are, in my opinion, the best costumes to wear for Halloween if you want to make a great impression! The costume itself is very large with over sized hands and a giant sized mask. The mask itself will add an extra 12 inches to your height. It's really incredible and the mask itself is the most realistic Freddy Krueger out. A great costume to own and extremely well made. You won't be disappointed!

Demon Freddy Overhead Mask - $49.00
This is another great mask -- sort of a hybrid between a demon and Freddy Krueger. This is from the Freddy vs. Jason film and is highly detailed. It is a full head mask that covers all of your head, made with high grade latex -- so expect to stay warm in this mask. The demon teeth look great, but what really makes this mask stand out are the blue eyes. This is a great mask!

Freddy EVA Molded Fedora - $12.99
Every Freddy mask needs a fedora hat -- so why not start with this one. Real fedora hats can be expensive, so give this EVA Molded fedora hat a go. Works with most masks but expecially nice with the Latex Foam Mask above.

A felt Fedora hat for your Freddy Costume and/or mask. This hat is not the best quality, however, it does look better than a vinyl hat. And for the price, it adds that much needed attention to detail for a good costume.

Deluxe Edition Freddy Glove - $59.00
By far the best Freddy Glove money can buy! It's made out of real metal -- not plastic. Very authentic to the real thing besides being real razors. This is not recommended for children and should be used only by adults (or adult supervised.) This glove has copper metal finger coverings to give it that "authentic" look and feel.

Deluxe Freddy Glove - $16.99
This Freddy glove is the typical glove most people are used to seeing on Halloween. It's made of vinyl and looks good. Much more safer for kiddies and your little trick or treaters. It has adjustable wrist straps for a better, tighter fit.

Freddy Glove - $9.99
This is the cheapest Freddy glove of them all and is good enough to pass for the real thing at night. It's a poly blend glove with a felt type material for the glove part, while the blades are plastic and painted with a silver paint. I don't care for this glove very much and for an extra $5.00, I'd rather choose the other one just above, as the quality is much better.

Freddy Krueger Makeup Kit - $9.99
This is an excellent Freddy makeup kit. It comes with both latex application and adhesive. There are also teeth for the upper and lower mouth regions. What's great about this makeup kit is the latex app and adhesive. It works really well -- and the best part is, you don't need to know what you're doing because the beauty of Freddy's face is that it's burned with skin peeling, so even if you mess up, it will still look great!

Deluxe Freddy Krueger Sweater - $34.99
A perfect sweater if you're looking for authenticity. The colored stripes are dark green and red, which is exactly what the real Freddy sweater is. Many other sweaters are red and black, but this one is as close to the original as it can get. This is an offical licensed product.

Kids Deluxe Freddy Krueger Sweater - $32.99
The same sweater as above, except this one is for children. Very authentic and the smaller size looks great on kids! Comes in Medium and Large only.

These are fun silouhettes for placing in the windows. You get two silouhettes as pictured. For a truly great effect, apply a strobe light from behind the silouhettes and turn all the lights out. This effect adds a nice "lightening" effect and really makes your home a house of horror when visitors come.

Here's another great prop for hanging on the door. Another great use would be to grab an old barrel, place some leaves in the barrel and pose this prop on top of it. It can really be placed anywhere, you only have to use your imagination.
