I found this great site where you can get all the music downloads you want PLUS!!! - videos, PLUS movies, PLUS TV shows like "The OC", PLUS games (and a stack of other downloads - go look for yourself!). and download them right on your iPhone.

And - great news! - you don't even have to use a converter to download anything! Needless to say, this is my favorite place for iphone music downloads (Like my pic? - you can click it too!)

You will not have to use converting software or anything like that. The whole technique is fully integrated so that you spend minimum fuss getting all the music and movie downloads that you want.

Free Music for your iPhone

"Creative Commons License" Plus iPhone converter equals some great free music for your iPhone

If you haven't heard of "Creative Commons License", then you are in for a treat. These licenses allow us to download a musician's music, legally, for free.

Why would a musician give his music away? Well, if you have heard of Numa Numa , or okgo, or Terra Naomi, then you will also have seen the incredible power of the internet as a place for new talent to get "discovered" by the masses. These artists (and many others) gave their music away on Youtube for all to enjoy and have since become famous.

There are now many sites where musicians make their music freely available for us. One such is soundclick.

Unfortunately, for reasons best known to themselves, Squidoo does not allow these great music widgets to be posted here (image is of one such widget). So you will have to visit the site to see the huge range of music you can download for free. Just choose "creative commons" for the license type and the "genre" of music you like and you will discover a huge range of music to choose from.

Then all you need to do is convert for iPhone (there are a number of converters - eg the "Amond DVD to iPhone Converter 2.7" which you can trial for free and safely download from download.com)

How To Make Ringtones For Your iPhone

After much research, I found that this is the best video on how to make free ringtones for our iPhones. Its clearly made by a young tech head - which is great for us because unlike the other videos out there, he has not yet begun to talk above out heads!! I found that I could easily follow his instructions.

Now this video uses an Apple music editor called GarageBand. But the same principal applies using any music editing software (eg Audacity, which is free). And once you have your edited piece, you can follow the directions given on this video.
