Ever since her first appearance in 1953's Peter Pan Disney Fairy Tinker Bell has been a fan favorite.
She is one of the few Disney characters to actually have a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and she is the official spokesman (spokes-fairy?) for the Disney Corporation.

The most recent Tinker Bell movie to be released was Tinker Bell And the Great Fairy Rescue in September 2010. Tink meets a lonely little girl named Lizzy who's father captures Tinker Bell's fellow Disney Fairy Vidia and he plans on taking her to a museum for study. Tinker Bell and her Pixie Hollow fairies must make a daring rescue of Vidia.
In 2011 another Tinker Bell movie is scheduled for release called Tinker Bell and the Pixie Hollow Games which will be available in the fall of 2011.
