Get Free Disney Admission on Your Birthday in 2009!

The good folks at Disney are giving you a good reason to celebrate your birthday with Mickey Mouse - free admission! In 2009, if you visit Walt Disney World in Orlando or Disneyland in Anaheim on your birthday, you can get free admission, provided you pre-register on their website. Read on to learn more about free Disney tickets and other free Disney goodies!

Celebrate Your Birthday With Mickey Mouse

disneyland castleDisney wants to help you celebrate your birthday. In 2009, if you visit Disneyland or Walt Disney World on your birthday, they'll give you a nice little present - free admission!

Yes, you read that correctly - Disney is giving you a FREE day in one of their two main theme parks if you come on your birthday. From January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009, just visit either Disneyland in Anaheim or Walt Disney World in Orlando on your actual birthday to get free admission. All you have to do to get this freebie is pre-register through their website and bring your confirmation and some ID to the park on the big day. Then you can party all day long with Mickey, Minnie and all the Disney characters for free.

Just visit Disney.com to sign up. You can register your own birthday, as well as that of any kids in your household. Then decide which of you will be the lucky one to get a trip to Disney on their birthday. (No fighting, kids!)

When you register, if you're entering multiple dates for all the people in your family, you don't need to say which date you'll be coming. You can show up on any of the birthdays you enter. Disney will send an email reminder two weeks before each of the birthdays you register online. Simply print that reminder and show up on your birthday with the confirmation email and proper ID, and you're in for free!

But remember - it's only good on your birthday. Not the next day, not the day before, not a week later. On your birthday.

To prove it really is your birthday, you'll need proper ID - a passport, driver's license, government-issued photo ID or birth certificate. If you're celebrating the birthday of a child under 18 and he or she doesn't have a government ID, you'll need either an original birth certificate or a notarized copy of a birth certificate.

But wait, there's more! If you're an annual passholder or will be purchasing multi-day passes, you can still cash in on the birthday goodies. Instead of receiving a one-day pass for free admission to the park, you can opt for one of the following alternate gifts:

- A gift card in an amount equal to the price of a 1-Day/1-Park ticket that can be used to purchase merchandise, recreation or activities on your birthday at participating locations in the park;

- A birthday FASTPASS ticket for certain attractions at the Theme Park you visit on your birthday; or

- A 1-Day/1-Park ticket for you to use any time until your next birthday.

Not a bad deal, eh? So if Disney is in your future for 2009, register online and plan to celebrate your birthday the Disney way!

Don't leave home without it!

You'll need your confirmation email and valid proof of your birthday to obtain your free admission.
