The basic idea is to find keywords that are often used by people, but have very few results if You perform a search for them. And believe me, there are tons of keywords that meet these criterias.

The first one is my favorite, because it is free and will show You how often a search term was typed in the engines per month, day and even per hour. It will also display the number of sites that google lists if You search for that keyword or phrase.

If You use the overture research tool then You have to google yourself to find out how many websites are optimized for that search term.

If You can find a keyword with less than 25000 results, then put it on Your keyword list. You will be able to get Your site listed for that keyword near the top of the listings.

So type in the main keyword/phrase and look for low competition keywords in the results of the research tools.

Making use of Your keyword list. 

Now that You have a list of low competition keywords we can get started to drive traffic to Your site.

We will start out by using classified ads. Note that our focus here is not to get visitors from the classified ad site, but rather to use them to get Your main website indexed by the search engines, which are the biggest source for free traffic to Your site.
