Free iPad Apps for Autism

Ipad apps for Autistic Kids

I work in a Special Education class here in the Island. We have different types of kids with special needs such as down syndrome, autistic, MR, etc. We started using iPad as one of the tools for teaching these kids. I can see that it is very effective especially for one on one class or even for more kids at a time since they can take turns.

This is a great tool at home too. Parents can help their kids with special needs for follow up activities.

Below are some iPad for autism and it is free. Click each link and it will lead you to iTunes Apps store where you can download, rate and read reviews.

Thank you for this list of free apps. As the mother of 2 kids with special needs, I'm forever annoyed by marketing hype professing a "cure" for only a bit of your money. These apps look educational, fun, and free. Perfect! Thanks.
