What works for the full timers and the experienced network marketers does not necessarily work for the part-timers. Why Buying Leads is the Biggest MLM Scam
What defines an experienced network marketer from an inexperienced network marketer is an experienced network marketer knows how to generate their own free targeted leads. When they have more leads than they can use they sell their extra leads. This can sometimes be a very lucrative side business.
Some of these leads may have been used and usually these leads are not targeted leads. They keep and use their quality leads for their own use and turn around and sell the older and over used leads to whoever will buy them and sometimes multiple times. Anyone who has ever been in network marketing for any length of time has succombed to buying leads and most of us have spent thousands on leads with unbelieveably poor results. Buying leads is a very inefficient production activity. This is why that buying leads is the biggest MLM scam.
Some full timers because of the tenacity and commitment will go through 10 to 20 leads just to get one good prospect and then they call this activity the normal way of doing business and a success. This activity is not duplicatable for most part-timers and just because a person can do this activity does not mean they are an experienced network marketer even though in time it may result in some level of success. This activity is just not mentally duplicatble for the part-timer. There is way too much rejection. Then there is the concern about all the leads that were blown off and thrown away that where all real people that under the right conditions could have also been successful.

The first step is learning how to get or make your own free lead generator. The second part of the process is determining what people want and need and then giving it to them for free or for at least what they perceive as a real value and then getting enough traffic to the capture page where they can read about the e-book or free gift or the thing of value and then make the decision to trade their contact information through the capture page for the thing of value. The third part of the equation is the real key to everything and it is all about knowing how to drive traffic to this capture page. All of this will be covered later.
