Getting Cash and Free Items Online
Have you ever tried to earn money online? In many first attempts, people become victims of scam sites or end up doing a million offers and then getting multiple referrals to do the same. As an experienced free offer site user, I will help guide you through the process. There are three types of sites that I use, free offer referral sites, free offer points sites, and paid to click sites (PTC's). Don't be scared to check out the free offer sites, as all of the ones I have included here can be done without spending a penny. The process of making money online is EXTREMELY SIMPLE, if you follow some important steps.

For Beginners: A Basic Explanation
The whole idea behind these sites is that marketers will pay to have people try out their products, or even just to look at their websites. This concept has lead to the creation of several types of websites, such as referral based websites, points websites, and paid to click websites. Although there are a lot of opportunities out there, many are scams. Whenever you start a new site, be very skeptical- do a google search, see if the site looks legit, see if anyone has been paid, etc.
Basically, these sites get paid by advertisers and marketers for your activity, and pass on some of the money to you. The key is to find the sites that give you a fair reward for your work. That is one of the main functions of this guide- I am passing on the list of some of my favorite sites that have the best compensation.
Here are the basics to get you started:
For free offer sites, you will need to "go green" to make money. This means that you must fulfill the offer requirements of the site. This generally entails completing a free trial (which you can cancel and still get credit on the site). Free trials range from postage stamp printing, to online music stores, to credit report checkers. Once you have completed your offer requirements, you need to get referrals to "go green" too. You can ask your friends (who don't live in the same house as you), neighbors, or relatives. Personally, I don't do that because I find it can get awkward. I use getref.com (see the link and description below) to get my referrals. It works especially well with no credit card sites.
For Points sites, you can complete however many offers you want and get paid accordingly. I haven't done much work in these types of sites, except in MyFaveFreebies. I still only use MyFaveFreebies because it pays the best of all points sites I have seen so far.
For PTC sites, you can click whenever you want. The money you make really adds up over time, especially if you have referrals (check out GetRef in the PTC link list for that!). I have just recently been paid by almost all of the sites represented here.

General Hints and Tips

False information will get your account put on hold (possibly permanently), and you will not receive any spam from these companies. Nonetheless, it is recommended that you set up a free email address to do the offers on, as those WILL cause you to get spam. Gmail and Yahoo are both excellent services for this.
Another very important thing to remember is that you should NEVER create multiple accounts. This will get both accounts put on hold (usually permanently). These websites all use IP address trackers to make sure that you do not make multiple accounts. Only create one per IP address, physical address, person, and email address. Do not use a proxy server (including AOL internet) to access these sites, as the site computers read that as suspicious activity.
When you are completing offers on these sites, use all real information too. For the offers that require a credit card (some free trials), be sure to cancel before they begin billing you if you do not want to continue with the service. Do not spam your referral link, as that can get you put on hold. My favorite way to get referrals is to use GetRef (see below for a link and more info) and also to post in my forum signatures (only when allowed ;) )

Greatest Potential to Make Money or Get Free Items
I generally stick to free offer sites run by two different companies: Transcendent Innovations (AKA Trainn) and Myfavefreebies. GetRef can be used to get referrals on either site.
Of the three, Trainn is the most established and well known. They are widely regarded as the best in the business. Myfavefreebies is also newer, and has an excellent offer selection.

- This is one of the best sites for getting a free XBOX 360. Like all Trainn sites, they require you to complete at least one level 1 offer OR 50 points of level 2 offers. If you are looking to be paid in money, I don't recommend this site. However, it is great if you want an XBOX 360, and has some great options for packages. - Another Trainn site, for DVD recorders and DVD players. All DVD recorders come with a free 3 months of Netflix or Blockbuster online rental service. - YourFree360Games

- YourFreeIStuff
- Ipods, Iphones, Apple TV, Apple giftcards, and an Apple flatscreen are some of the offerings at this Trainn site. My personal favorite site for getting Ipods and other Apple items. - Myfavefreebies is a relatively new site, but is still one of the best out there. It is not as well known as others, but is still very high quality. - This site is EXCELLENT. They pay $1 (1 point = $1) each for zip code and email submits (make sure to use a free email address, as you will get tons of spam)! I have personally been paid $155 from this site just doing simple offers like those. Another $28 is on the way- I requested payout on 3/1, so I will be paid on 3/15.
My Favorite PTC Sites

I only do 3 PTC sites consistantly- they are the only ones that fit my criteria: their payouts are not too high, they pay a good amount per click, the referral pay is good, and there enough money to be made every day.

- This site is one of my favorites- It consistently has around 20 ads up at a time. Payment is $0.01 per 30 second advertisement. You earn $0.005 (1/2 cent) for every click done by your referrals. Minimum payout is $10, and payment is on the 1st and 15th of every month. I was recently paid by this site.
- Bux.to
- Bux.to is a relatively new site, but I really like it. They generally have about 15 ads up, at $0.01 for each 30 second view. Quick, and easy, with a payout of $10. They sell referral packages, but I have found that GetRef referrals tend to be much more active than those.

- Well, completing an offer really depends based on the site. Generally, though, it is a free trial that you can cancel if you do not want the service or product. For example, Trainn sites have a lot of these trials, with the most notable being stamps.com, where you even get to print $5 in free postage. Another example of this are the credit rating offers (I think there are about 4 of them on git-r-free), where you can cancel at no cost and get credit for doing an offer. Assuming that you cancel the trial offers, these sites can be completed absolutely for free.
