Free people clothing first opened its store in 1970's by Dick Hayne and started his business in Philadelphia.

Hayne is a person who has the ability to find the right choice for city-born young people and he is very talented. His idea of attracting young people worked well and his products got recognized by youths and reached a pinnacle on that stage.

Hayne's one store turned into two and also he changed the store's name as Urban Outfitters as he designs dresses mainly for urban people. The private label division was also formed by that time and Meg Hayne was part of the business.

This business also worked out for their family and they turned this in to a wholesale shop as they got many clients for their unique styles and the retail shop was separated. They tried many new names for their wholesale shop but nothing suits so they decided to go on with their old one Free People Clothing.

As the years moved on, trend also changes and people look for difference in their style as per the trend. But Free People clothing didn't change their style at the whole they maintained their quality and designed many clothes that suits the urban youths.

The basic designs of these clothes are that it should suit all young women who like to be more courageous and have to show their feminine nature boldly. The production and design department is handled by experts who have rights to develop new variety of clothes and introduce new designs and they can be totally mixed and formed into a new cloth with fresh design.
