The cutest free public domain Valentine's clip art for any crafy person!

Delving into digital arts and having an ancient computer, I realized I needed public domain pictures. The trouble is finding those pictures isn't as easy as it sounds.

The clip art I have can be used freely in any application, commercial or private use, there is also a section with some great links to even more public domain clip art and pictures further down in my article.

If you're interested in selling art online with companies like Zazzle or Cafepress, you need Public Domain pictures or PD for short. Trouble comes when your search turns up free pictures. FREE is not public domain. Someone owns those free pictures and usually you aren't allowed to use them for commercial use.

The pictures you find here ARE public domain pictures free for any crafting use or commercial use. The easiest way to find public domain pictures is to type that first into your search bar before the object you're looking for. There are quite a few sites out there that the photographer has released their photo's directly to public domain, so keep an eye out as you can find new ones daily.

Of course you can! Eliminate public domain all together by taking your own pictures, you can even make your own clip art. It really isn't as hard as it seems.

You'll find some great free and low cost manipulation and art programs, that will help make your own artistic endeavors possible.

    Public domain art is definitely the way to go if you want to use free graphics for commercial work. I share my clip art for non-commercial use ... hearts are very popular!
