Ok, you've decided to continue with the tutorial rather than downloading the video. Excellent.

Now I'm going to provide a step by step tutorial on how to install XoftSpySE which is a free spyware remover application that will scan your computer for known spyware, trojans, hijacks, etc.

Ok... First things first.. To follow along with the screen shots, it's best to be on XoftSpySE's site.

Click Here to bring up a new window with XoftSpySE's page.

Done? yes? no? maybe?...

Yes?, good!

Now you're ready to follow along on the screen shots.

The first thing you need to do it locate the "Download Now" link located at the bottom right of XoftSpySE's site.

Once you find the download link, click it, and you should see a window similar to the one above.

You'll want to choose Run from this window.

This should start the download process. Depending on the speed of your Internet connection, this may take a few minutes.

Go get a cup of coffee and when you return it'll be done.

Once the file is finished downloading, you should receive the security warning pop up window. Select run again.

This should launch the XoftSpySE setup wizard like the screen shot above. Nothing of real importance here, but feel free to read over the information.

When ready, click Next.

You should have the license agreement window. The license agreement is pretty much the same as every other, but feel free to read it over. You have to agree to it to continue, so might as well read what you're agreeing to.

If you're like me, once you've seen one agreement you've seen them all, but if this is your first time, take a few minutes to read it over.

When ready, Click "I Agree" to continue.

Now the wizard is asking you where you want the software to be installed. If you have no idea what it's talking about, just click continue. The default location is probably best anyways.

Click Install when ready.

The program will install itself on your computer now. This may take a couple minutes.

Ok, cool. You've made it this far. XoftSpySE is now installed on your computer. If you don't want it to run immediately uncheck the box "Run XoftSpySE" and click Finish.

If you didn't uncheck the box the XoftSpySE should launch now and you should get a screen similar to the one above.

The very first time you launch the application it will check to see if there are any updates.

If there are updates available, you'll see a window asking you if you want to download this update.

I recommend to always download any new updates available.

Click Yes to download and install the update.

If you clicked yes, the update should start downloading. Sit back and wait... It should only take a few minutes.

Ok, the download is done now. Click Ok to continue.

That's it.. You're done. XoftSpySE is installed and updated. You're now ready to use it. The program is pretty easy to use as indicated by the menu screen shot.

Just play around with, you'll be an expert in use it in no time. :)
