Free Sunday School Lessons

Free Sunday School Lessons Loaded with Fun Activities, Crafts, & More that will Inspire your Student's with God's Word.

It is very difficult to find free Sunday school lessons that are quality enough to use for your class.  You need to find lessons that teach the required material while also keeping the attention of the children.  Naturally, kids are antsy and they are not the best audience unless they're interested in what's going on.  What is the best way to gain their attention?  Feed them with some tasty Bible study!

"Bread of Life" is one of many free Sunday school lessons that are perfect to ignite enthusiasm and discussion with a younger group of students.  It's a good lesson to use during one of the first few classes because it introduces Jesus Christ and it can help the children learn to integrate Christianity into their lives.  While Sunday school is there for religious purposes, it's also important for everyone in the class to get to know one another.

You'll tell the children that the class is going to be having a sandwich party.  You might want to let the students and parents know about the "party" a week prior!  You will have to make all different types of sandwiches with all different types of breads and ingredients so there is a big variety.  You should make peanut butter and jelly, cheese, turkey, butter, et cetera.  One of the keys, however, is using different types of bread like white bread, wheat bread, long bread and flat bread.

It's hard to find free Sunday school lessons that explore religion and are still fun for children but "Bread of Life" achieves both.  When you're picking out the breads that you're going to use, get one that the kids might not be familiar with.  Just for fun, have them guess what kind it is.  After the guessing has died down, explain that Jesus is bread too.  Explain to the kids that the Bible is food for the soul and for spiritual enhancement and that we need it every day as we need bread every day.  Just like bread is used to fill our hunger, Jesus is needed to fill the heart's hunger.

Once the food is cleaned up, have the kids either draw or color in a picture of the Bible and a picture of bread.  "I am that bread of life John 6:48" should be on the picture of the Bible in order to tie the entire lesson together.  When they're done coloring in their pictures, you can have them show you what they've learned.  Instruct them to hold the picture of the bread and say, "This bread is for my hunger."  Then have them hold the picture of the Bible and say, "This bread is for my heart!"

It's hard to find free Sunday school lessons like "Bread of Life."  Considering the fact that they are children, it is necessary to teach them things that they can make connections with.  "Bread of Life" is a lesson that will allow the kids to relate Christianity to their everyday lives.

"Orange You Special" Sunday School Lesson

Free Sunday School Game for the 3-6 Year Olds

Orange You special is a wonderful game for teaching the topics of creation, love, and self worth to your 3-6 year old groups.

You will need to bring a bag of oranges to class (enough so that each child will have an orange to themselves).

Have the children pick an orange from the bag and examine it. Instruct the children to look for any details that are unique to their orange, so that they can tell their orange apart from all the others. After 5 minutes or so, collect the oranges.

Scatter the oranges on a large table and have the children go on an "orange hunt" to find their orange.

For very young groups, you could have the children put faces on the oranges to make it easier for them to find their own.

Explain that like the oranges, we are each different. Explain that God made us each unique, that He knows everything about us, and He never gets confused telling who is who. Because God made each of us unique, we should be kind to everyone regardless of how we look.

At the end, allow everyone to enjoy the orange feast!
