Write Articles To Increase Traffic

Writing articles is one of the most potent ways to drive massive amount of traffic to your site. By massive I mean HUGE! Article directories ranks really well in Google search, so well that your article may rank better than your actual site! Do you see the potential in that?

Not only so, you can brand yourself as an expert in your industry by writing articles. If you have enough articles circulating the web, you can even be semi-famous doing it.

But writing articles is hard work, that I can tell you. You do need to spend some time on it, but rest assured that I will show you a way to leverage the time you spent to write. Ok, let's get to business!

If you can write, then you can do article marketing. It's easy. You write a short summary of what the site you are promoting is all about. The twist is, most article directories do not allow site/product promotion. So what you have to do instead is APPEAR to be contributing valuable content.

1. Do your research on the content before you write any article. Read the recent news in your niche. What are people up to? Read forum post. Subscribe to newsletters. Join networking groups. Be one of the insiders. This is vital for a well written article.

2. The point of writing articles is to direct traffic right? Therefore it makes sense that you want your article to be as search engine friendly as possible. Do your keyword research. You can use keyword research software or free tools available online, it doesn't matter. See which keywords are being searched for, I would suggest, at least 500 times or more but have no more than 500,000 competing results. I found many of them, I'm sure you can too.

3. Now decide on the headline. Your main keyword should be in it and it should be compelling. Some popular headlines include "How To", "Top 10 Ways" and "Reasons Why".

4. Brainstorm ideas for your articles. Organize your thoughts. Plan what you are going to say. Include interesting points and exclude boring ones.

5. Write your article. As you can see, the preparation takes way longer time than the writing itself. It should be easy for you to write the article now, after at least an hour or so researching. 400 is the minimum number of words you are aiming at. Your high school essay is longer than that!

6. Remember to fill in the resource box. The important thing is say you're an expert, a little about your website, how it is an authority in your niche and include a link to it.

7. Proofread your article. Ask someone else to read them and make that it flows and natural.

Here are some Tips and Tricks to article writing:

1. Make sure that you use your main keyword a few times in the article itself.

2. The more articles you write, the better, as long as the articles are of standard.

3. I don't normally direct traffic to my article, instead, direct them straight to your site.

4. If you can't write a quality article, it is better that you don't do it.

5. Don't use cheesy article spinner.

6. When you are generating ideas for your articles, write down whatever that come to your mind, no matter how stupid it sounds. Filter them out later.

7. When you experience a time when you just have no idea what to write or how to start, you need to warm up your left brain. You can do this by writing continuously for 10 minutes or so. Do not stop. Write whatever that comes your mind. For example, "I have no idea what I'm writing this for, I don;t evfen if this works or not. There are no scientific explanation in ti. blah blah blah. I just writing. write write write...." Notice the spelling and all sorts of other error, do not go back and correct them, Just continue writing. Soon your creative juice will flow and inspiration will follow. Try it!

Submit Your Article To ALL The Directories For Maximum Traffic

Remember I talked about leveraging your time spent writing? Well, here it is. Instead of submitting your article to just one article directory, how about submitting it to 600 of them? That could seriously boost your backlinks! Check out Article Submitter.

There's one problem though, it's not free. It does cost a little, but consider this: how much time will it save you to submit your articles to ALL those directories!

Before you buy this, consider your needs and plans. Do you have a lot of spare time, if so you might consider submitting your articles manually. Create A Squidoo Lens For Your Website For More Traffic

This site you are looking at right now is called a squidoo lens. If you have not heard of squidoo by now, you must have been living in a cave for quite some time.... Welcome back!

Squidoo is a very powerful website, especially if you want to try out bum marketing. Google really likes these lenses. If you look for for some targeted keywords like a product name "operation affiliate storm", my lens came second without any promotion and little, if any, SEO effort. Despite the recent alleged slap, I still get a lot of traffic for The Big G.

So how do you create a squidoo lens for your business? Click here to get started.

A lens is made up of modules. There are many different kinds of modules: the guestbook, the introduction, the write/text, the link list, the text list, youtube, flickr, amazon, ebay, itunes, poll, dogs, cameras, orbitz WHATEVER. So what you basically do is add the kind of modules you would want to use and build a lens like this. It is simple and efficient. What more can you ask for?

Before you go building your lens, here are some tips for you.

1. Do your keyword research before you build a lens. Target a certain keyword and build your lens around it.

2. Tell people who you are. For each and every lens, you should have a unique bio showing, one that is related to the specific lens you are building. Unless of course you have TOO many lenses to keep track.

3. Include a guestbook, a poll and maybe a plexo. A plexo let people vote for their favorite and contribute to the list. Interaction will make people come back to your lens. This is important.

4. The main headline of your lens should contain the main keyword you are targeting. It should also capture their attention and create interest.

5. It follows, therefore, that your introduction should be interesting enough for people to read on. Create links in it for people to "jump" straight to the content they are interested in. You can do this by right clicking the links under "what's here" and copy link location. Credit goes to ShellHarris for this tip.

6. Play with your tags. Check out similar lenses and see what tags they are using and add those to your list. There is a maximum of 40 tags though, so choose wisely. So what is wisely? Do a keyword research on each of those tags, see how many times it has been searched for and how many competing results are there.

7. Again, content is king. Offer something valuable, even if it is just a review of a product. Don't just copy and paste. The most valuable thing you can offer, to me, is your opinion on a certain matter. That is unique to you and no one else.

8. Ask for ratings and comments. Put this in your introduction, the part where most visitors will read.

9. Participate in the squidoo forum, squidu. People there are helpful. See also the forum strategy below.

10. Join relevant groups and maybe create one yourself!

11. Look around the squidoo community, rate and comment on other people's lenses. Let them know you are there and they will reciprocate. Don't expect too many of the high flyers to look around though, they are too busy managing 500 lenses!

12. While it is true you will get indexed relatively quick and you CAN depend just on Google traffic to your lens, I would highly suggest you continue to promote your lens through other means, like those I share here!

13. Create more lens! The more lens you have, the more exposure you will enjoy and the more traffic you will receive.

14. Feature your lenses in all your lens! Many people miss this! Get people who visit lens A to go on and visit lens B, C, D etc.

Join Networking Sites And Add Targeted Friends!

There are billions of people going online and a majority of them have some kind of profile, especially those between 15-35, at popular networking sites such as MySpace, Facebook, Friendster, StumbleUpon and Gather. Take advantage of that!

The concept behind network marketing is to join and add as much targeted friends as possible. Communicate and direct them to your website. Let's get started!

1. To get started, sign up for an account and create your profile in these site. Now, I'm not going to discuss of the ethics of this, do so only if you are comfortable doing so. If you are going to market more successfully, you'll want to be able to connect with your audience. One of the best way you can do that is to put your age to be closer to theirs.... if you are much older.

2. Put a picture of you or any image related to your niche. If you are shy, you can use cartoons or images of other people, just make sure they compliment your profile.

3. Everything about you should revolve around your niche. If you are promoting your gadgets website, then you hobbies should state you like gadgets, looking to meet people who like gadgets, etc.

4. use backgrounds, music and pimp your profile to give visitors a feel of what you are promoting. Continuing with the gadget example, use techy advanced robotics or modern background, an upbeat song, possibly metallic fonts and so on.

5. Add friends with similar interest. Use their advanced search feature to look for friends interested in what you have to offer. Only add friends with similar interest. Some people think the more friends the better. I personally find it better if you have friends with certain specific interest. People tend to be more receptive because it feels like an interest group or club.

5. Create a blog. Each of these networking sites offers a blog. Make use of that. I know maintaining all of those blogs can be a tedious chore. Good news is, there is no need to update everyday! I normally update them 2-3 times a week and that is all you'll need. ASk your friends to check your blog out!

6. Send private messages or comment on your friend's profile. Include a link to your site of course.

7. Post messages on your bulletin!

Millions of blogs out there are just waiting to be commented. If you can comment on 100 of these blogs a day, you can potentially get yourself 100 backlinks to your website. 100 comments may sound like a lot but it is not. Spread it throughout the day, like comment on 10 during your break, another 10 during the commercials and so on.

The problem with this method is: looking for relevant high ranking blogs where you can comment on is more time consuming than actually commenting them! I have a solution for this but for now let's assume you found them.

1. Do not leave generic comments like "nice blog". That's almost always rejected because it counts as spam. I personally reject those comments in my blog.

2. Skim through the article by reading only the first line and last line of every paragraph to get a feel what the article is talking about.

3. Leave a useful comment according to what you have read. Some comments that would normally be accepted are questions, a suggestion or your opinion if the article is useful and why so.

4. In the box where you are suppose to fill in your name, use the keyword you are targeting instead. Therefore instead of John, you use "cool gadgets" or "iphone downloads" instead. The name you input will be link back to your website. Backlinks that are important keywords have been argued to have more weighting than random words.

5. If you are knowledgeable about your niche and able to leave some intelligent comments, people are more likely to click on your name to find out who you are. The more active you are participating in that blog, the more authoritative you are in that particular blog and the more people will click on your name.

This is the solution to the problem I mentioned above. While commenting is easy, looking for the blog is difficult.

Let's face it, it doesn't get any better than this! People often say affiliate marketing is convenient because you don't have to worry about customer support, building the business etc. I can honestly tell you they are WRONG.

Affiliates do the most difficult thing: that is to drive traffic. Advertising and getting visitors to a site takes up the most resources and costs the most. What do they get? A measly 75% commission on the front-end. Most affiliates can't even capture emails! All the leads and the back-end sales goes to......... the owner! Therefore relatively, affiliates do not earn much.

But most people are just plain lazy. They don't want to go through all the trouble developing a business. They just want a quick sale! Take advantage of this!

But wait a second, we need to pay affiliates a commission, the traffic is not free! Well, the way I see it, I did not spend an extra dime on acquiring traffic. I just earn less. That's good to me, considering there's no extra work on my part. That's free! Many of the sales your affiliates referred to you would have been lost forever if they have not referred them.

So here's how to get affiliates working for you:

1. Promote your affiliate program! Obvious but often missed out.

2. Make sure your site is excellent and has relatively high conversion rate. Affiliates quit easily. Your site should convert AT LEAST 1:50. Click here to see how you can increase your conversion

3. Recruit super affiliates. if you quality products or services, super affiliates is happy to send out a single email to their huge list and make some cash and in the process, earning you big bucks too! Notice that you MUST have quality products or services.

4. Allow you affiliates to bid on your main keywords in ppc marketing. Many of the super affiliates will leave in you don't allow this. Businesses that ban their affiliates to use high converting keywords are just plain dumb. The reason being, if your affiliate don't bid on your keywords, your competitor WILL! Your affiliates help you defend your "turf", discouraging competition to steal YOUR customer.

5. Offer awards for highest performing affiliates. Many affiliate programs, especially those in clickbank simply doesn't do this. By offering award when nobody does attracts MORE affiliates which means MORE traffic.

6. Give your affiliates awesome tool, simply because the higher your affiliate convert, the more sales for you.

Before You Introduce Your Affiliate Program...

There are several things to consider. Do you want to handle the program yourself or outsource it to affiliate management companies like click, CJ and Linkshare?

I personally prefer handling your affiliate program yourself. Here are the reasons.

1. You do not need to pay a fee or further commission to the company managing your affiliate program. That means less expense = more profit.

2. You have more flexibility. You don't need to be careful of breaching terms and conditions, etc. You can manage you program the way you like it.

3. Your contact you directly and you make the decisions. If you sold an e-book on clickbank, the customer can request a refund from clickbank and deductions will automatically be made. What if the particular person is a habitual refunder?

To manage your personal affiliate programs, you can have a software custom built for you OR you can buy one off the shelf. The software I personally use is JVManager 2, a complete business management tool. At $2997, I understand it is pricey. But even at that price, it is still a good deal. To prove it, it is now out of stock.However, you can sign up and get in the waiting list, just in case someone asks for a refund.

Now, managing your affiliate program can be very beneficial, but at the same time it is a very time consuming process. You have to well.... manage it! If you don't have the time or the man power, then please go with the affiliate management companies.

Also, you have to promote your affiliate programs if you are managing it yourself. Be best way to do that if insert your affiliate programs to many different affiliate directories. This is ALSO a very time consuming process.

Write A Viral E-Book For More Traffic

This is an easy one. The only difficult part is writing a short but good e-book.

The main point of the e-book is to get passed around, and in the process telling people about your site. To get passed around, you e-book has to be well written and compelling enough. If you can't write, get a ghostwriter. You can hire a cheap one for about $50 or so at guru.com or elance.com

Sell the book for a small sum of money, typically $7, and offer buyers full resale rights where they can in turn sell the e-book and keep 100% of the sales proceeds. You can either sell it through your website or through eBay! Many of the e-books on making money you see on eBay are viral e-books. They are not the original product the seller wants to sell you.

I understand that eBay do require a small sum of insertion fees. If you want 0 risk, then skip this part. But through my personal experience, it works really well. Check out other sellers on eBay who are selling these books and carefully copy their style. Pay attention to their headline, their sales copy, the pictures they use and so on.

This works really well because, again, people are lazy. You give them a product for $7 and let them resell it, they will grab it if it is good.

In the e-book, there should be a decent amount of links to your website's landing page where you promote your REAL product or services. Do this cautiously, you don't want to come across as spam.

To crank it up a notch, you can offer buyers of your viral e-book to join your affiliate programs. Those viral e-books are then branded with THEIR affiliate links so they can earn additional income by spreading the word. This will further motivate lazy people and some other opportunity seekers to hop in. You can read above to find out more about managing your army of affiliates.

I really like this method because once I finish writing the e-book and get 10 decent affiliates to buy them, I can just sit and watch the traffic and sales flow in. It requires nothing in my part after that!

Bookmark everything that you have. Bookmarking is a great way to share your favorite with the public. If you are new to bookmarking, no I'm not talking about your browser bookmarks. I'm talking about online bookmarking.

You can bookmark your websites at bookmarking services such as Delicious , Magnolia and Netvouz . These bookmarking services are extremely popular and have thousands of visitors everyday.

Placing a link to your your website can certainly boost your traffic if, of course, your website is worthy of visit. The more people bookmark your site, the higher up the "what's hot" list. If you can get your website to their homepage, who can expect at least a few hundred visitors a day.

I'll be totally honest with you: I have never got to their homepage myself but even so, I still get about 20 visitors a day from them. That's not too shabby for 10 minutes of work!

Therefore if your website deal specifically to a niche, such as eczema, it would make sense that even if your quality is awesome more people will bookmark a website that deal with skin problems with comparable quality.

Automate Your Bookmarking Process!

There are about about 20 major bookmarking sites. You probably have a few websites, a squidoo lens, a hubpages and maybe some other mini sites.

So how many times do you need to bookmark? Assuming you only have ONE website, then you will need to bookmark twenty times! Can you see how time consuming it can be? Plus, you need to create an account on all those twenty bookmarking services website!

But wait a second.... didn't I say I spend only 10 minutes on it? Well, here's what I use. The Bookmarking Demon automates the bookmarking process for all these major bookmarking sites PLUS as many scuttle sites as you can find.

So what are scuttle sites? Scuttle sites simply means minor bookmarking services website. There are thousands out there.

Digg It And Redd It!

Digg and Redd all the websites you want to see more traffic to. These are similar to social bookmarking but users of the service can vote your site up and down the list.

All content are submitted by users and the users determine which site is the best by voting. If a lot of people "dig" or "redd" your site, then it will rise and surfaces to the homepage.

To get people to visit your site, you must have a curiosity driven headline. It follows that your website must contain something of value, or the visitor will "bury" your site and comment badly on it.

Join Active Niche Forums And Direct Traffic To Your Site

Forums are another place people congregate and thus they also make a great target.

1. Join forums that focuses on your niche. If, for example, I sell squidoo guide, I would naturally go to squidU forum to promote it. If I'm promoting something related to internet marketing, I would go to warrior and amazon associates forum. The more focused your efforts are, the better result you will achieve.

2. To find forums related to your niche, you can simply seach for "'your niche' forum" on Google. There are plenty, but not all forums are made equal. First, the forum should be active. Leave those that has been dormant for a long while. Second, it should preferably has decent traffic. You can estimate how much traffic it has by checking out its Alexa ranking. The higher the ranking (lower number) the more traffic it has.

3. Include a signature with a link to your website. This link will then be posted with all your post. I personally do not like banner because it looks cheesy. People hate banners nowadays, unless it is properly placed and forums isn't one of the proper places. Instead, I like to use a question with the keyword in it. For example, "Would you like more traffic?" with the "more traffic" as a link. I also like to bold the main keyword that is the link.

4. Now, obviously for people to click your link, you must offer something useful. The more you contribute to the forum, the more links to your site will appear and the more you position yourself as an expert. Don't just contribute junk though, help people solve their problems. Once you are a "pro" in the forum, you can expect a lot of people clicking on your links.

Exchange Links With Other Webmasters!

Exchanging links can be the easiest way to increase traffic to your site. You only need to request another webmaster if he/she is interested in exchanging links.

There are 3 ways you can do that.

1. You search for them manually. You can do it by searching for your keywords in Google, visit each of the websites that appear and one by one contact the webmasters of the websites you want a link and asks them if they are interested in exchanging links.

2. You can join a free link exchange service. There are tons of such services out there such as Free Links Direct, which is free or Build Reciprocal Links(BRL), which costs $49.95 a year if your website has PR of less than 3. If your website has PR of more 3 or more, it's free. Obviously, BRL offers more service like reporting.

3. You can use softwares that automates the process of looking for new partners, asking, waiting for replies and verifying if they are still linking back. I personally use SEO Elite, which I LOVE! There's a lot more to it than that, like submitting your article automatically. If you like linking AND article submission, then you should definitely get it. If instead you prefer only to write articles, you should get article submitter instead because SEO Elite does not come cheap. See number 1 at the top of this page.

Of course you can purchase links from popular websites but we are only exploring free methods here.

Before you go rushing off though, here's somethings you should know.

When you EXCHANGE links, you obviously need to include a link in your website back to their website. This can potentially direct customers away...

Generally, only webmasters of similar PR to your site will agree to exchange links with you. If your website has a PR of 1, you wouldn't expect a webmaster of a website with PR 8 to agree to exchanging links with you simply because his website has so much more traffic than your site does. It never hurts to try your luck though...

Also, it has been argued that a reciprocal link isn't as potent as a one way backlink to your website. I personally prefer articles to exchanging links but I do implement this method myself in addition to articles.

Manage All Your Forum Post In One Place

Did you see a potential problem with promoting in the forum? If you didn't let me tell you what it is. It's time consuming and difficult to track! Imagine promoting in 15 forums and tracking the replies.

Wouldn't it be nice to make a post in several forums with one click and track those threads for replies? Replying to your post exponentially increases the response rate and it won't look like spam!

Introducing Forum Dominator.

Again, this is a tool and like every other tool, it can be used for good or evil. Do NOT use it to spam or you risk your account getting deleted.

To prevent this, I would suggest you visit those forums, 10-15 is MORE than enough (I personally go for 8), and contribute a little. After doing the hard work for a day or two, you can start using this software and track replies to it.

If it costs $97, I would think it's not worth it. I can still afford spending some time tracking the forum myself rather than spend that kinds of money on the software. However, at $34.95, it's a whole other story!

Join "Buzz" Program

Buzz programs(I have no idea what they are called) is another free method of driving traffic. I have listed them last for good reason. I'll discuss about that later, but first let us look at how it works.

You'll need to download a free toolbar and install it on your browser. The toolbar features search tools and displays a single line advertisement. This advertisement is from other members who have downloaded this toolbar and used it. As you surf the net, doesn't matter which website you visit, you earn credits. The more credits you earn, the more frequent your advertisement will appear on other member's toolbar. Free Traffic Bar is one of them.

It sounds very promising doesn't it? I have read many testimonials and heard many people telling me how effective it is. I have tried it but I personally do not like it and here's why.

1. The advertisement is just plain annoying. It is not obtrusive or anything, it is just an eye sore. Imagine a clean white floor with a small little black dot. I just don't like advertisement on my toolbar!

2. People who downloaded and used this toolbar is not the people you are targeting. These people mostly surf the net to either do their own thing or surfing for the sake of getting their advertisement shown.

3. People who saw your ad are broke. They are just as tight budgeted as you are. You can expect a sales or two here and there but nothing solid and consistent.

That's just my experience with it though. You may have a different result!

Massive Free Traffic With Blog Rush

EDIT: Blogrush is dead as of 29/10/08. The idea was killer but dreams don't always come true. I'm sad to see this service gone but I guess readers of blogs never really liked it.

Instead of "Buzz programs", you can opt for this alternative. It's similar, but profoundly different.

Before I discuss that, let me tell you how it works. You cut and paste a code they give you into your blog's HTML and a.... "I have no idea what it is called" (the one in the picture) will appear. It will display other relevant blogs that have similar theme as yours. It's kind of RSS. However, as a visitor visits your site, you earn point. He does not need to click it. Therefore the more visitors you have the more points you'll accumulate.

The more points you have, the more your blog will be displayed on other relevant blogs that have Blog Rush installed. If you refer someone else, your points add up more!

So here's my take on it.

1. People who do visit your blog are not dead broke like those in "Buzz programs". They are visitors from other relevant blogs, that may originate from a Google keyword search. These are targeted traffic!

2. There is no ugly advertisements!

3. Your "ad" is not limited to be seen only by people who downloaded the software like "buzz programs". Instead, anyone who visited your blog can find out about your blog.

However, here's one problem: Blog Rush can potentially lead visitors of your blog away! But don't worry about it too much. Because if you lose visitors, then most probably people will lose visitors to YOU too. Here are 3 tactics you can use to make the most out of Blog Rush.

1. Often post to your blog. New post will appear on Blog Rush.

2. Use compelling headlines. The more compelling your headline is, the higher click through rate, the more traffic you have.

3. Invite people to use Blog Rush. This one is self-explanatory.

Blog Rush's system therefore makes the high-flyers fly higher and the rich gets richer. If you have more traffic, you have more points and therefore even more traffic! If you hardly have any traffic, you have little or no points, you get 0 traffic. I would therefore suggest only blogs with SOME (100 a week) visitors to use BlogRush.

An alternative will be to implement Blog Rush and buy one of those guaranteed large amount of traffic to accumulate points. You have a keep an eye on this technique because it may backfire.

Make A Video To Get More Free Targeted Traffic

Videos are the big thing now. Create a video for your website and upload it to Youtube. It's very difficult not to get noticed...

So what video can you make? Here are some ideas:

1. Create a step-by-step guide. For example, if your website is about healthy living, you can create a video on how to live healthily. Use general knowledge such as drink 8 cups a day and why you should do that. Exercise regularly and why you should that. Etc.

2. Introduce who you are and what is your website's purpose. Show a picture of your staff, or a picture of yourself. Show people of you in the process. If you website is about gardening, show people yourself trimming your garden and such. Tell people what your website is about and why your website is an authority in your particular industry.

3. Do an interview. If you can get your hands on an expert, or better still, someone well known in your industry, interview them! It's one of the ways to attract attention to your video. Ask things such as how to get to be so successful, some expert advice and tips. What are they well known for, and what is their advice for newbies.

4. Make a documentary. Show newspaper reports of how the public population is getting sicker and sicker. Use clips of popular talk shows and news report as to why. Make it interesting and present your website as the solution for people to avoid the epidemic. The general format, therefore, is show the problem, tell people why the problem occur, tell your story, and present a solution.

5. Create a slideshow presentation. Whatever you want to present to your customers, do it here. Yes, it can be very boring, therefore it's up to you to make interesting!

Now that you have some idea of what videos you want to make, you will want to make your videos interesting, or at least compelling enough for people to visit your website. One of the major advantages of videos over other marketing medias such articles and podcasts is that it engages more human senses thus producing more emotion. Here are somethings you should know before creating your videos.

1. Your video does not have to be very long. People on the internet has very short attention span. If it takes your video 5 minutes to get to the point, you can pretty much bet that nobody ever gets there, unless of course you uploaded the whole episode of Lost.

2. Always watermark your video with your URL. Also include your URL at the beginning and the end of your video. The reason for this is because people may forget what the URL is at the end of the video!

3. Make use of good thumbnail images. Youtube currently uses the middle frame of your video as the thumbnail image. For example, if your video is 20 seconds, the 10th second frame will be your thumbnail. Make use of this to your advantage by putting the most interesting bit of your video at the middle.

4. Always let people embed your video on their website and embed your video on your website too! The purpose of video is promotion after all!

5. Create groups in Youtube. If you have several videos, you might even consider making a playlist. When you create groups and playlists, you cater to people who search for them.

6. Use relevant title for your videos and tags. This is crucial for SEO. It allows your video to be much more findable.

7. Your landing page should be unique for each video. Do not direct all traffic from your video to a single generic landing page (probably your homepage). If your video is about introducing your company or yourself to the public, then your landing page should be a page that tells people about who you are. Makes sense? If it is an instructional video of how to use your program and such, then your landing page can be your sales letter. The more relevant your landing page is, the higher your conversion rate will be.

Auto Submit Your Video To 35 Video Directories For More Targeted Traffic

Now that you have a video ready, you have 3 choices you can act on.

1. You can submit your video only to the top video website, which is YouTube.

2. You can manually submit your video to all 35 top video streaming website.

OR 3. You can submit your video to Traffic Geyser and have your video submitted straight to 35 top video website for maximum exposure and an avalanche of traffic.

But at $47/month I understand it is pretty costly, which is why I highly recommend that you should have your video, or preferably videos, ready for upload before your subscribe to this service. It saves me a lot of time, and I'm sure it would save you time too.

Plus, Traffic Geyser can help you create podcasts out of your video and send them to dozens of podcasting sites such as iTunes.

Highly recommended, only for people who are serious about video traffic.

Cater To Image Search

Another place online where people frequently visit are image hosting websites. Websites such as flickr and photobucket.com. They millions of members and that should tell you it's another great source of traffic.

Now, this one is really easy. All you need to do is cut an image, be it your e-book cover, the e-book cover you are promoting, the slogan, the logo or product pictures and upload them to these websites. Provide a link to your website and you're done!

Of course, you will need to sign up for an account and network a little. Find some friends and encourage them to check out your pictures.

Like I promise, simple and efficient.

The Best of The Best Driving Traffic Method

The one thing you can't do without

I saved the best for last.

The best traffic is of course repeat traffic! People who come back to your website by entering your URL into the navigation bar.

Repeat traffic is free and the good news is, once you've done with a bunch of people, the rest would naturally follow. It's called social proof.

So how do you get people to come back?

Well, you would need *say it together*: unique valuable content... just like the one you are seeing.

There are obviously more to it. I might add more to this list as I have more time. Other methods include

1. Posting to free online classifieds such as gumtree, craigslist and usafreeads.

2. Joining popular niche groups such Google or Yahoo groups.

3. Adding your lens to Google base.

I have not tried this method out yet, but will do so in the near future and share the results here! Check back often ya!

Don't Get Get Caught Up With Driving Traffic

Conversion of those traffic is always more important so make sure your website sells before you drive traffic to it!
