I have been searching on the internet for ways to get free top up codes for my PAYG mobile phone, and have come across many websites which claim to show you exactly how to do it. The trouble is, most of what I have found has turned out to be complete crap and a total waste of time.

Recently though I have stumbled across a method that actually does actually seem to work - but not all the time. I found it on an ebay guide here.

Now, you may have seen this method before, and you may have tried unsuccessfully to get free top up credit using it, but that's because you probably did it wrong and gave up after one go.

The first time I tried out the method, it didn't work for me and I was not at all surprised. However, the actual concept of this method was quite intriguing and so I tried it over and over again.

It took me over 9 attempts to actually get it to work.

I found that you really need to be EXACT in the time that you press the buttons. This method can be a pain in the ass, but if you do it enough times, then it should work, and you can get free top up codes forever.

How To Get Free Top Up Codes For Your Phone...Eventually 

This is the method to use to get free top up codes:

1 - Purchase a top up voucher or paypoint/payzone printout of your phone network.

2 - Find a friend who is on the same phone network to buy one too

3- Both of you type in the digits of the code into your phone (the same voucher).

4 - When you get to the last digit both of you press confirm at the EXACT same time so the same voucher registers on both of your phones.

5 -Repeat this with the other card. You will now have twice the amount of credit on your phone than what you paid.

HANDY TIP
Alternatively, instead of both of you pressing the buttons, you could press them yourself. This would ensure greater timing to ensure the buttons are pressed EXACTLY the same time.

If it doesn't work the first time, try again. And again.

It may take you several attempts, but it should work eventually. Out of all the different methods I have found on getting free top up codes, this is the only method that works. If you can be bothered to try this technique each time you top up, you will be rewarded for your patience.

Here is another method I found claiming to get your free texts for your O2 mobile. As I do not have an 02 pay as you go phone, I do not know if this actually works or not. If you are on the 02 network, give this a try and let me know if it worked or not.

02 Free Texts Loophole

1. You must have an O2 sim card with the 300 texts per month sim card.

2. When you have topped up more credit onto your sim card, you will then have

-£10 worth of talktime,
-300 texts.
-300 WAP minutes,

3. Write down the date from your phone as to what day you topped up.

4. Carry on using your phone for the remainer of the month or until you run out of texts.

5. When you have used all of texts, get your phone and reset the date to when you orginally topped up.

6.Make sure you do not use the mobile phone at all (no phone calls, texts or anything) but make sure to leave it switched on.

7. Change back your date settings to normal.

8. Wait for the new month to begin and you will receive a message from O2 saying

"THANKYOU FOR TOPPING UP,YOU NOW HAVE YOUR FREE 300 TEXT MESSAGES".
