Driving Traffic To Your Website

I am dedicating this lens to free methods of generating traffic. There are lots of ways to get free traffic hits for your websites and blogs. You can increase web traffic directly, with viral methods, or by using Web 2.0 strategies.

I will start with several of the most basic and common methods. Over time I will add new techniques that are a little more complex and then move into very advanced methods and viral systems. So you want to check back from time to time because the lens will keep growing.

There are numerous programs that are already set up to help you get more website traffic, leads, and build your lists and down lines. I will also be covering some of these and talking about which ones work the best and are worth having a look. Increase Web Traffic With Article Submission 

Article SubmitterSubmitting articles, with links to your website, to article directories is also known as "Bum" marketing. The term was used because you don't need to spend any money for this type of advertising.

Internet marketers have been using this method, to successfully increase their web traffic, for a long time. The problem is, as with most free traffic generation methods, that this process can be very time consuming. You can spend hours a day for a month and still not submit an article to the hundreds of article directories that will let you submit for free.

Luckily for us, there are programs that can help speed up this process. I have tried a bunch of these and let me tell you that they are not all created equal. The best one on the market is the one created by Brad Callen, who also created Keyword Elite and SEO Elite, which are 2 of the top selling programs on clickbank.

The other article submitters that I used did not let you save your login information or randomize your titles and keywords. They also had problems auto filling the information on some of the sites.

Squidoo + Hub + Blog = Mega Traffic 

Now that we have Web 2.0, anyone can be a webmaster. If you can use notepad, you can build a Squidoo lens of a Hub page. You can use the two together with a blog, which can also easily be set up for free, and you can generate a lot of free traffic.

The trick is to concentrate your efforts on a targeted keyword. Link your sites together using anchor text links and start promoting your sites. If you do your keyword research and find a good "long tail" with little competition you might even find yourself on the first page of a Google search. Traffic Exchanges On Steriods 

Traffic exchanges work on a very basic concept. I earn credits by viewing other websites and use the credits to buy views for my website. That is it in a nutshell.

Of course there is a little more to it than that especially if you want to get the most out of them. All that viewing can be very time consuming so you want to make sure you spend that time efficiently.
