Build Your Own Website For Free - HyperVRE Review
The free and paid version are exactly the same pieces of software. The only difference being that in the free version, some of the links on the page for products will contain the affiliate link of the next person above you in the referral line who upgraded to the paid version. These are Amazon, paydotcom, or clickbank affiliate products.
However, as a free member, you can still put your own adsense code on the sites you create. This feature is what this site builder is promoted around - as an Adsense website creator and money-making solution.
HyperVRE has some interesting features, a lot of which relate to making an auto-generated web page more unique. These features include auto-rotating content, placing RSS feeds within the body of your articles, and creating pages of these various elements based on the keyword list given. The software also takes care of putting contextual affiliate ads in the content, and things like the link structure of the site.
All of those features can also be used to advantage with original content, by making your pages seem like they are being updated regularly, without you having to do any of the updating!
HyperVRE uses tokens, so you can customize the templates yourself, or join the various template clubs that include HyperVRE templates. You can thus control exactly which of these elements is on your site, and where they are. You probably would need to do some template editing to get rid of any distinguishing 'footprints' that could easily identify the site as being made by HyperVRE to the search engines.
Whilst you can use HyperVRE to add your own articles, and truly create a value-added, original content and affiliate site, the main selling point of HyperVRE is that you can generate sites, and pages, quickly and fairly automatically. When it was originally out, people were building sites using articles from the article directories. With the popularity of PLR now, this seems to be more of a preference.
From reading through the forums that come with the product, I can see that there are a lot of people trying to do just that - build original sites. There were questions on how to update HyperVRE sites, for example. Unfortunately, this is where this free website builder is a little lacking.
You basically have to generate your entire site again, which would probably change the directory and linking structure, and thus affect your traffic. Or do some time consuming work around. Many heavy duty users, and ones making around $7500 a month with adsense, just make a site around 50 pages, promote it, then move on to the next one.
Is HyperVRE a good way to build your own free website? It's not bad. If you're just starting out, it brings together a variety of ways to make money from your site, with clickbank, adsense, and Amazon. It also takes you through the process of setting up your site in a step-by-step fashion. There are videos as well, that also come with the free version.
I still prefer using content management systems to build a free website. They are more complex to set up, but they are much better at creating and organizing a website that you can add content to on an ongoing basis. And there are some great tutorial videos, such as this one for Joomla.
Whether HyperVRE is the best way to build your own free website ultimately depends on your strategy. If you want to build a lot of sites, and make money primarily through adsense, then it is going to be really useful.
And some people are doing really well at it - to the tune of $7,000 to $9000 a month. Not bad! Whether there is any real longevity in these types of sites is another thing. I really don't have the answer to that. But if you prefer to really develop a few sites, instead of 50 to 100 or more, then I would go with the free content management systems like Joomla.

Membership Sites As A Source Of Income
Another option to earn money online is to build your own membership site. This is a more solid business strategy than just building content rich adsense sites. There is a little more involved in the process, in terms of setting it up and managing it. Not so much from the software side, as you can get a membership site manager that takes care of all the day to day administration. The one in that link also uses the free content management system, Joomla, enabling you to set your membership website up essentially for free (though the videos and instructional material have a small fee). The up side is that you can create as many membership sites as you want once you know how! The how-to membership site ebook goes into choosing your own topic, what you need to have in your membership site, a blueprint to keep you on track, and a lot more.
But membership sites can be very lucrative - to the tune of $6,000 to $10,000 or more per month. It just depends on your chosen topic, and your skills in getting the site marketed. And of course, the quality of your content inside the membership. It's an option worth keeping in mind however, at least as far as long term profts go.
