    Delightful lens and I got a few good laughs out of the poems. I'm not quite 40 yet, but I feel it rapidly approaching. I hope I am able to face it with as much humor as I found in your lens. :)

    On my 40th birthday, my friends hired a guy to put a "tacky" and I mean TACKY sign in my yard along with 40 plastic pink flamingos to draw more attention. I live in the Midwest so flamingos would catch a person's eye - especially 40 of 'em!

    I've sailed through 40 and, of course, nothing feels any different! As with anything in life it's simply how we look at things. There's no reality, just how we perceive things.

    Just enjoy life.

    Angel Blessings to you - you have made me feel much better today! I have a cruise planned for later in the month - didn't book it for today as of course it is 3 times more expensive over New Year.

    Well I sure hope you have a great 40th. I did many years ago and one of my friends mothers gave me a wonderful present. A bunch of marbles with a note inside saying, " in case you have lost yours."

    Well congratulations (name)
    On getting to the big four-0,
    It looks like its been a hard life,
    And boy does it show.

    OK, so now your 40,
    Theres no need for despair,
    Its just a fact of your life,
    Your gonna' start to loose your hair.

    The wrinkles, they will start to show,
    You may ache from head to toe,
    Dont take it as a 40th blow,
    It started long ago.

    So congratulations again my friend,
    I'm about coming to the end,
    Unfortunatley its a well known fact,
    Your gonna' beat me to the bend.

    wish I had seen this a few months ago sure could have used it...I also participated in a 40th BD celebration, by sending a special "one of a kind" hand made or original poem written BD card, this was asked of 40 special friends and family and all will be opened on the BD...5*s
