Listen to Full CDs Free Online

For years and years I scoured the web, looking for free music. As a broke college student I first found the now infamous Napster. I thought it was great at the time, I could find pretty much any single song I wanted to hear and had a respectable playlist of classic old school songs that I liked.

Over the years I would hop from one P2P program to another and as technology and connection speeds improved I noticed that eventually you could download entire CDs, and even entire discography's if you were patient and lucky enough.

Then the RIAA came to town and started suing everyone and you've probably heard the story of a little kid whose parents got into big trouble because of all the downloaded music on the computer, and the trial of Napster that basically shut it down.

I would still download the occasional album now and then, but mostly my sister and I would go in on buying a CD and then I would burn a copy for myself and it was like getting half-priced music.

I thought to myself "I wish there was a way I could hear entire albums, free online." I like listening to the entire album of an artist, so what I really wanted was a place where I could hear the whole CD all the way through. Not 30-second samples, or just the popular singles that are released.

That's when I started CDs Online FREE!. After searching online for free music I've found that you can usually get the torrent but you have to sift through a bunch of shady sites with wares and porn ads and it's really kind of an ugly process. At some sites I'd get bombarded with pop up ads, and things trying to download themselves onto my computer, when I'm just trying to hear some music.

I keep this site really clean and simple. It serves only one purpose. It lets you listen to full CDs, completely for free, and as fast as possible (usually you are only one - and at the most two - clicks away from hearing the CD of your choice.)
