Free Printable Coupons
Are you a frugal shopper? There are so many Free Printable Coupons out there that can save you money on your purchases. If like me you just can't resist a bargain, then I'm sure you have a wallet full of coupons and money off vouchers.
Every week I use grocery store coupons to almost halve my weekly grocery bill. For a long time I just waited for coupons to show up in our local newspaper or for them to drop into my mailbox. Now though, I find exactly the coupons I want and print them straight out at home.
I'm always looking for the exact coupons for those items that I already buy and I've found some great places to get them. Not discount coupons on things that I don't want or need, I want free coupons that are useful to me. But I don't want to spend my time searching newspapers and flyers for free vouchers or money off coupons, and then spend time cutting them out. Neither do I want to trek to numerous supermarkets or stores just to find products at the best prices.
My husband and I are trying to save money to buy our own house so every cent counts. I didn't realize that groceries are one of our highest monthly bills, infact we were spending more on food than we were on our car. Ridiculous! With a new baby on the way, things had to change.
Make a grocery list to find and use grocery coupons.
Making a grocery shopping list means that you know exactly what you are looking for.
I always, always write a list before I go grocery shopping. The day before I go to the store I clear out the refrigerator, check the cupboards and pantry too. I throw out anything that is out of date, is opened and has gone off or is stale, any empty bottles or cereal packets. Why does my husband always return a box of cereal to the cupboard when there are only 10 cheerios left in there? I'm sure this goes on in your house too, it's the same with empty peanut butter jars in the fridge. Now that I've cleared everything out not only can I see what we really need but it will also making putting away the grocery shopping much quicker and easier.
Now it's time to write a list. Think about the aisles of the supermarket, how they are laid out and what your journey will be through them. List your groceries is this order then you will not only save money but time too.
Now that you have a list and you know exactly which items you are going out to buy. With this knowledge you also know what Grocery Coupons you need too, so that you can reduce your weekly grocery bill.
Searching for Printable Coupons
Work out what you want to buy, search logically.
But what if you want coupons for other goods, for example restaurants, clothes, car rental etc. There are a number of places on the internet that you can find free printable coupons. My husband saved a lot using a discount coupon when purchasing something from Dell. He couldn't believe how much we saved. You see he would never normally take the time to search for online coupons or coupon codes, but now he is a convert!
To find printable coupons, you again need to know exactly what you want to buy, and sometimes where you want to buy it from. It is no use searching without a plan, otherwise you may be tempted to spend money on an item that you weren't originally planning to buy. Now that's plain silly, you are supposed to be saving money, not spending it when you don't need to.

How To Use Coupons Effectively
Make a list: The key to saving money on groceries is to make a full and comprehensive weekly list. Your objective is to go to the store as infrequently as possible. Spur of the moment shopping trips to pick up forgotten items often end up more expensive than expected. Begin with the extra low bargains listed for your groceries and add on from there.
Be brand-flexible: You may always buy a particular brand, but if you have a coupon for a different brand, then try it!
Coupons: Coupons can be found from many sources. Check your newspaper, lookout for grocery coupons and vouchers on boxes and packets, take a look in your grocery store too, you may find some next to displays.
Store website: Take a look on your grocery store's website to find out if they have any additional savings programs such as electronic coupons that you download onto your store discount card, loyalty programs, printable grocery coupons, or monthly sales flyers. Try subscribing to their email newsletter to receive special coupons or advance notice of new sales.
Advance savings programs: Make the most of your store's savings programs. Many stores have fantastic savings programs but they may not overtly advertise them. Ask at the customer service desk if they have double or triple coupons, accept competitors' coupons, have senior discounts, will match the advertised prices in their competitors' sales flyers, or do they accept coupons printed from a home computer. Also enquire if they have any unique savings programs such as fuel discounts, baby clubs, pet clubs, photo clubs, and so on.
