Get books on Scrapbooking

The more you know the better!

These can be helpful with ideas, layouts and perhaps your software. I have two shelves devoted to scrapbooks and magazines. Check them out!

Get a Wacom!

So helpful and easy to use.

A Wacom Tablet can be very helpful. And it's easy! Like drawing on a piece of paper. When I do have to use my mouse it's like drawing with a potato. LOL Not very easy.

My tip for your tablet purchase

Bigger is not better

Don't go too big in the Wacom size! My current sized is 4X5 and it's just right. My first tablet was 11 X 17 which was WAY too big. Smaller is better in my opinion so you just have to move your wrist.

The picture below is similar to the one I have.

A Little More about Me.

Doodling in class is where it all started. I would draw friends, teachers and anything else that caught my fancy. I dreamed of being an artist that gave the viewer an experience to remember. I live in the Pacific North West with my loving husband and beautiful twin daughters.

In 2000 I received my BFA in figurative oil painting. Afterward I went back to school to learn media arts and 3D animation. At this school is where I was introduced to Adobe Photoshop and I've been using it ever since. I guess nearly 9 years now. However, Digital Scrapbooking, didn't come into play until I had my twin daughters. Digital Scrapbooking was the easiest way to organize all those pictures and create the pages I really wanted.

Give me a shout!
