Free Chef's Hat Pencil Topper Crochet Pattern

Materials:
Small amount white worsted weight yarn
Size H crochet hook
Scrap of blue felt

Gauge: 2 rnds dc=1"

Note: Weave in ends as work progresses.

Rnd 1: Ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring, ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st in top of ch 3 (12 dc).

Rnd 2: Dc dec over 1st 2 dc and over each of next 2 dc around, join w sl st in top of 1st dc dec (6 dc).

Rnd 3: (Working in back loops only), ch 3, dc in next 4 dc, dc dec over next dc and joining sl st of Rnd 2, fasten off (6 dc).

Cut small circle from felt. Glue to front of hat as shown. Let dry.
