Free cinema tickets

Do you want to see films at the cinema for free?
Do want to see films at the cinema before your friends?
Do want to save money?

There are a number of companies in the UK that arrange previews of films before general release.

It is an opportunity for the studios to request feedback and of course they hope you will tell your friends how good the film was (perhaps they think you will be more inclined to give a favourable review of a film that you were able to see early and at no cost).

I will be updating this lens as I find new sites giving away movie tickets, special offers, etc... so keep checking back or mark this lens as a favourite to receive a squidcast.

Films for which I have received free tickets

As an example, I was able to see the film In Bruges on 7th April 2008 although it is not on general release until the 18th April 2008. This was through the site The Film Factory.

At the end of the film I was handed a flyer inviting me to send a text message (at no cost) to provide some feedback and also be entered into a competition to win a holiday to, you guessed it, Bruges.

On 11th August I was able to see Get Smart (very funny) for free although it it not on general release in the UK until 22nd August. This was with See Film First.

In the past I have also seen Thank You For Smoking through Moviebeat (previously First Movies).

The links below are to sites that I have signed up to (free).
