Free Crocheted Wedding Favor Pattern

Materials:
1/2 oz. white worsted weight yarn
Size H crochet hook
Small favor accent (such as a bird, ring, etc.)

Size: 2" tall
Gauge: 2 rounds of dc=1"

Bottom
Rnd 1: Make ring (or ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring. I prefer the "magic ring" method), ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st in top of ch 3, pull ring closed (12 dc).
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in same dc, 2 dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before (24 dc).
Rnd 3: Working in back loops for this round only, ch 3, dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before (24 dc).
Rnds 4-5: Working in both loops again, ch 3, dc in next dc and in each dc around, join as before. Fasten off after Rnd 5 (24 dc).

Lid
Rnds 1-2: Rep Rnds 1-2 of Bottom (24 dc).
Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in same dc, ch 1, * sc in next dc, ch 1, rep from * around, join w sl st in first sc, fasten off.

Weave in ends. Glue favor accent to lid. Let dry. Place lid on bottom. Enjoy!
