How to install a free currency converter on your website
Ranked #1,467 in Tech & Geek, #33,607 overall
Could your visitors benefit from a currency converter?
And if you write about currency in any way, then you really can't get away without offering your readers a currency converter that they can use to see what the latest rates are.
Fortunately there is a free currency converter available on Widgetbox, which you can put on your website within minutes of first clapping eyes on it!
And while you're at it, make sure you visit the page where the currency converter is actually housed!
What is Widgetbox all about?
It's a website that offers thousands of free widgets you can use on your blog or website. It costs nothing to join or use. You can even make your own contributions and let others download them if you wish. Is the currency converter a good one?
It's very well designed too, and as such it will grace any website or web page that you choose to install it on.
Is it easy to install onto my choice of site?
You should be able to do it within a few minutes. Simply click on the site you want to put it on (as shown below), or select the < / > option to get the basic code.
You need to make sure you are a member of Widgetbox first though, so fill in the box that will pop up.
Then you will be able to carry on with the installation process. You'll get a welcome email but you don't need to wait for it to arrive to carry on with getting your currency converter widget. If you opt for a specific site to put the currency converter onto, then all you need to do is follow what the site tells you to do. For example, if you have a Blogger Post account then you will see the following screen:
The directions you will get depend on the site you are installing the widget onto, but they are always very easy to follow. And if it's just the code you need to embed in your own site, then you'll see this screen instead:
Copy the code as prompted and then you will have it ready and waiting to paste wherever you want it.
Is there a limit to how many times I can download the appropriate code?
In short, if you think that providing the use of a free currency converter will help your visitors stay on your site for longer, why don't you provide them with it now?
So, could your website benefit from this free currency converter?
Let me know how it works for you!

- Thats useful information about widgets etc.
The only thing I would say is that if you are putting a currency converter on your site you could link this to an affiliate program. That way people that click on the converter and go on to trade provide you with generous commissions. You can see how this works at -http://www.squidoo.com/GettingTheBestCurrencyExchangeRates and contact me for more information.
