Free Decorative Thimble Crochet Pattern
a fast, fun (and free!) project !!
Materials:Small amount of size 10 crochet cotton
Size 6 steel crochet hook
Small bead or flower for embellishment
Size-1" tall
Thimble:
Rnd 1: Make ring (or ch 4, sl st in 1st ch to join. I prefer the "magic ring" method), ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join w sl st to top of ch 3, pull ring closed (12 dc).
Rnd 2: ch 3, working in back loops only for this round, dc in each dc around, join as before (12 dc).
Rnd 3: ch 3, working in both loops again, dc in each dc around, join (12 dc).
Rnd 4: ch 3, dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc,* dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc, rep from * around, join (16 dc).
Rnd 5: ch 3, dc in each dc around, join, fasten off (16 dc).
Weave in ends. Glue desired embellishment to top of thimble. Enjoy!
