Free Flash Banners

We've all seen it, Flash and Flash based sites. There was the time that Flash was the used in ways that it never should have been. The internet was filled with garish sites that had no business using Flash.

Then the web calmed down, Flash was being used in constructive and useful ways.

One of the things that really took off with Flash, was Banners. Banners and headers built with flash were popping up all over the web and they were very successful. Perhaps too successful.

A few years back, people began to ignore the banners across the top of the page. I think some have referred to it as banner blindness. Some web site owners stopped using banners altogether. But with the use of Flash, this trend was slowly changing.

Now Flash is used in banners all the time, particularly in the internet marketing circles. Also, since the last release of Flash, they improved how it handles video and it is now one of the most economical and easiest ways to put video on the web.

Flash has also added much functionality of late, with a complete scripting language built in. The scripting language has been there from the start, but in the last few releases, it has taken on a more serious role. Rich internet applications can no be built out of Flash.

So is Flash still an effective tool? You bet, you can build applications with it, display video on the web, build interactive web sites and best of all you can build banners and headers with it.

Ok, so Flash Banners are still an effective tool, so what do you have to do to put one on your website?

Simple, follow these steps to create a Flash Header or Banner in minutes, without any Flash knowledge at all.

First, go to http://www.freeflashheaders.com and sign up for a FREE account, yes that is a FREE account.

Next, log in and go to the Header Builder application. Enter the name of your Banner and click on Create New Header.

Then, decide on a background color or pick from one of 50 background images.

Then enter up to four lines of text that will be displayed on your header or banner. At the same time, select font style from a choice of 29, font color, and font size.

Go down to the preview area and move your text around to the position you want, do this with by dragging and dropping the text where you want it.

Now, you can decide whether or not you wish the text to have any special effects (that is you can choose to have the text move - that is the cool part about flash). You can choose from over 50 special effects for the header.

Finally when you have everything set up just how you like it, click Save - very important step! Then click on the generate HTML button. A dialog will pop up with some html code inside of it, cut and paste this code into your website and save.

Your website now has a fancy Flash Banner in it, and I bet it took you less than five minutes to create it.
