Giving is just a click away!

Click to give to charity.

What a wonderful concept. And it costs you nothing. That's right - NO MONEY.

I have chosen three "click-to-give" sites I would like you to consider.

I was concerned about the legitimacy of these web giving opportunities. It just seemed too easy. So I checked these sites on Snopes and found out that they are legit. I also checked out the sponsoring agencies on Charity Navigator as well.

Feel free to click the one you like the best or click on all. Give freely. But give.

Thanks for the clicks and your time.

PS--there are other giving opportunities on these recommended webpages as well.

While you are here click Squidoo Charity Giveaway Lens!. It is another good (GREAT) way to click and give!

Give To The Animal Rescue Site:

I have a soft spot in my heart for animals-particularly rescued animals. I am a rescuer of a basset hound. Several years ago, my oldest daughter gave my youngest daughter a basset puppy. My youngest was in still in college and didn't really need a pet! But, she had just broken up with her long-time (loser!) boyfriend, and her older sister wanted to make sure she did not go back to him. So, she gave her a puppy to keep her company--against my wishes. Well, guess what? I ended up with the dog.

Bassets are a very "needy" breed. So needy that there are Basset Hound Rescue organizations all across the country! They are cute puppies, but they do grow up. They smell--hounddog! They sling slobber--wet mouthed dogs. Most people do not know these things when they get one of those cute little fellas. Well, I put the dog up for adoption thru the rescue in our state. We had to keep him until a home became available. Well, a month later, the agency called and came to get him. Guess what? I had become so attached to that dang hound, I called and asked for him back. My husband still hasn't forgiven me and I have been wiping slobber off the walls for four years.

So, please click and feed a rescued dog.

The Animal Rescue Site

"Each click on the purple "Click Here to Give - it's FREE" button at The Animal Rescue Site provides food and care for a rescued animal living in a shelter or sanctuary."(from the website)

"Sanctuary" -- what a wonderful word.

Give to DONORS CHOOSE

DonorsChoose.org is dedicated to addressing the scarcity and inequitable distribution of learning materials and experiences in our public schools.

We at Squidoo passionately believe in creating new ways to support good causes online. By making a donation to Donors Choose from this page, you are sending money directly to that organization, in whatever amount you want. We don't touch it. We don't even see it. The author of this page doesn't either. And if you made it this far, thanks for caring.
