Free Gold Purse Necklace Crochet Pattern
Materials:1 oz metallic gold size 10 crochet cotton
Size 6 steel crochet hook
Small gold button
Size: 1 3/4" tall
Gauge: 2 rows dc=1/2"
Note: Weave in ends as work progresses.
Square 1
Row 1: Ch 15, dc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across (14 dc).
Rows 2-6: Ch 3, turn, dc in each dc across, fasten off after Row 6 (14 dc).
Square 2
Row 1: Rep Row 1 of Square 1 (14 dc).
Rows 2-10: Ch 3, turn, dc in each dc across, fasten off after Row 10 (14 dc).
Sew button to right side center of Square 1.
Hold squares wrong sides together with Square 1 on top. Line up Rows 1-6 of both squares. Whipstitch along sides and bottom of squares (Rows 7-10 of Square 2 will remain unstitched).
Join thread w sl st in 7th dc of Row 10 of Square 2, ch about 7 (adjust ch to fit your button), join w sl st in next st, fasten off. Fasten ch over button.
Make a ch of about 230 (adjust ch to fit your neck), sew ch to sides of purse through both thicknesses of Row 6.
